Chapter Text

Somewhere between dimensions.

Far from any realm, any reality, something so powerful it hid itself from anything, creating a safe closure for anyone who was brought there.

Never ending, full of green beauty and sun rays bathing the leaves.

So many, uncountable trees it seemed almost like a maze.

A very low sound, just existing far in the distance, as if animals were somehow everywhere. It wasn't loud and disturbing, a peaceful lullaby that somehow never lulled enough to blank out.

Maybe heaven? Why would she be in heaven? Did it even exist?

It was a mere theory of where old admins went after living thousands of years, resting for the end of time.

Obviously that wasn't the case. Still, this place was too surreal for such a creature as 1x1x1x1 to be at. She didn't enter, and of course wasn't able to leave the previous realm, but somehow she was here now. Lost, even confused and mildly angered for not knowing how or why she got here.

The more she stepped the more it seemed like there was no end.

Circling around the same place, it didn't look any different.

At some point 1x4 marked a few trees and the grass in an attempt of making a path to know where she had gone through before.

Then it became obvious the place was in fact endless. There was no ending, no middle and no entrance. It was almost sickening if this forest wasn't so much calming somehow.

So calming she sighed heavily, taking just a moment to sit down and lay against a marked tree.

Maybe another game of that unknown creature that also owned the previous realm, maybe a punishment — but for what? Murdering countless times? —, maybe someone else brought her here, or maybe 1x1x1x1 did it herself and just didn’t know when nor how.

Horrible. Horrifying and unpredictable.

Matt had tried with all of his knowledge to find a solution, to find more clues and discover what was covered.

Yet all they manage to find were whispering secrets erased with unknown toying mocks.

No book and no other being seemed to have any information, simply telling them they might be seeing things after wishing so much for finding the knowledge they seemed claiming it to exist when it could simply be an internal desire that never were fulfilled.

Maybe, in the end, they all were right about such behavior. They were thinking too much, studying too much and searching too much.

Even for such a creature as them it could be too much to handle, being cursed with a never settled mind could really drag a headache without a notice.

Recently, Dusek has been spending lots of days in any library they could reach, only to already have the knowledge stored in the same.

Still, it couldn't hurt to try some more, just for the reassurance they seemed without even noticing.

A last shot, that should do it.

The admin could be the purest embodiment of knowledge, but still was cursed to never be able to share any of it, locked down this relentless mind of theirs.

But being the genius mind they were, a small gap in the script was enough for a new discovery, bringing an answer they weren't quite seeking for, but did use of it nonetheless.

A different reality, a gap in between dimensions, a small resting place that should cover just well all of their storage made there.

Worked perfectly.

He was able to build by hand and magic a wooden library capable of infinitely storing all of his discoveries and knowledge through the centuries.

He was the only one able to access, so nothing would possibly deal any threat to it. If anything, he was the only one able to maybe build gates that could allow another there.

It all was balanced through realities thankfully to his never resting mind, like a server hosting so it all could run and exist at any time.

A small escape spot, where he would lay and rest, sleeping there for all the time needed. Even a creature such as him would need one from time to time. Although, if he wanted and tried, should be able to keep it all safe and working with no rest at all. But, of course, consequences would fall over him with that, which would weaken the man and put at sharp risk all of his built place.

Maybe in the end he shouldn't have searched for answers he wasn't ready to face.

The truth was naked modestly in his eyes and now there wasn't any way to deny that. All the time working on something beyond anyone's reaching for the enormous storage all for it to now be in danger.

All of what he held dear, cherished with fervour and thought was fully capable of protecting, maybe, after all, wouldn't be as safe as everything told him it could.

The menace was closer than any of them could think of, and now with that knowledge in hooves, Dusekkar didn't know what to do.

If he, the one supposed to everything held acknowledged and solved, couldn't reach any closer to a clue of what the puzzle could be, who would say any other?

He more than anyone, during all those centuries, knew deeply with warm bonds how everyone he had special was, there couldn't be a way where the others discovered a different pathway, an exit.

That night, the admin spent all the time he could searching for more, craving for a solution that was nowhere to be found; it could doom the future of all the built empire of Robloxia — but worst, take all of what he held dear away.

His body was wasted to exhaustion, magic dripping through the wooden floor as he told himself he would just once more try to answer his never ending questions.

But it was undeniable, no other way in sight, it just took a good amount of time for the man to realize he was being foolish in relieving his full, clever ego. It couldn't be the solution for everything, at least not in that case.

After many, uncountable nights — even as much as Matt wanted to make it quick —, he went after so much time back to the stable reality, his homeland and his found family.

Maybe he could find clues with their help, maybe they already acknowledged the current event and already had a way of solving it, maybe they were waiting for him to come back and help them.

His hopes were landing on their warmth, also feeling a very small sparkle of relief on being at home once again.

Although maybe searching might make you find unpleasant truths; squeezing and milking every drop of your hope and draining to end any vein of dignity.

His eyes wouldn't blink, he couldn't, mind going numb as the body he held lots of trust with to hold all of his knowledge seemed to refuse obeying to any command, freezing just like at the discovery, but worst.

The form of the now weakened admin squirmed in the dark silence of the night against the hallway walls, hiding unconsciously near the shadows, maybe hoping it would swallow them whole and never toss them back to the cruel reality.

One of those held dear by them couldn't have defeated them more by ending their living heart, pacing beloved.

Now languishing with weak, almost nonexistent pleas in the hard and harsh flooring, there couldn't be a more unbearable scene to witness than that.

Someone supposed to acknowledge ing in the existing realities and beyond, to comprehend and solve, to hold and guard, now reduced to a stuttering non drying silent cries in the darkness, finally understanding that not everything was known.

And now maybe it is undeniable that they, in fact, never knew everything in the first place.

Because no clever creature would leave their loved one behind just for pure egoism and hunger, leaving behind and feeding what they feared the most to happen, to take away something supposedly held protected and dear right to their heart.

Who could be reached for now? When even the ones supposedly being able to handle such issue were part of it? When the empire built by hand was crumbling harshly on the ground, so silent not even the one who claimed having infinite acknowledgement noticed.

Not only had they lost their beloved, but also a trusted held closely by them had stabbed their back with their eyes closed, full of belief that there was nothing to fear nor doubt about.

What to relive into? What to do in such moment?

Just crumbled to tears, left in a corner aching deeply with no sign of cure, because the phantom feeling of something happening was true, and they ignored it, left it for later and now paid the price highly that no coins might be able to contain.

Sentenced, that burning pain breaking through ribs were all they knew right there, the dark night falling over their fragile form threatening to break the rest of their glass bones, taking the last they could have after it all.

Why Telamon,

Why would you take away the one he held dear as if it was nothing?

Was he so blind to not realize how much of a threat his own close ones could be?

He knew what could be wrong, but still chose to ignore, and nothing could erase the pain bleeding through his flaming heart

The betrayal ignorance was only fuel

In that night, he realized that not only weren't he safe anywhere, but also didn't have any of the knowledge he pried to have.
