New York:
It's a normal afternoon in Dr. Light's Lab, we see Dr. Light sitting on his chair talking someone on the phone as he hasn't spoke to him in years and is happy to see his dream fulfilled and was even invite to come on this special day which he happily accepted and even willing to bring his kids and his Robot Masters tomorrow to watch.
"Wonderful. We'll see you there tomorrow." Dr. Light respond, then hanging up.
Mega Man, Roll, Cut Man, and Guts Man all walk in to check on Dr. Light.
"Who was on the phone, Doc?" Mega Man asked.
"I just speak with one my old students name Tom McIntyre, who wanted us to attended to watch the shuttle launch tomorrow afternoon. He's bringing his daughter to also watch and say she'll help prepared seats for us."
"Wow! Space must be really cool up there." Roll said, getting excited.
"I don't know, Miss Roll. Space can be really scary like there could be...*gulped*..aliens up there waiting to invade." Cut Man said, feeling bit scared.
Roll scoffs. "Don't be silly, Cut Man. There's no such things as 'aliens'."
"Well, we should go quickly packed up and head to Florida right away. If we're lucky, we can get there early in the morning without any delays."
"Sounds great, I better be fully charged on my energy stacked just in case," said Mega Man. Although it may sounds real nice time to watch, but Wily may pop up and tries to cause trouble again.
"Good, we leave for the airport in half an hour," said Dr. Light. He just hope that Dr. Wily isn't aware of this and the shuttle launch will go smoothly.
Skull Fortress:
Proto Man walked into Dr. Wily's lab to report some news to Dr. Wily, who is fixing up Gravity Man's arm cannon. Gravity Man is a muscular humanoid robot with green eyes. He has black bod, a red helmet, red armor with two green gems and seemingly a gauge on it, a white right hand, a red bracer on his right arm, a red buster with a white end on his left left arm, a yellow 'G' on his lower body and underneath the bottom of his boots, gray tubes on each side of his lower body which are connected between the lower body to the armor, and red-yellow boots. His right hand has the ability of Gravity Hold while his left fired a Gravity Beam canon.
"Yo Wily, I just got news that a space shuttle is launching tomorrow this afternoon." Proto Man reported
"Hmph! So what? Why should I care they're going to outer space?" Dr. Wily asked Proto Man, not feeling a bit interest on it.
"Well, they said the space station had already completed after constructing a giant laser cannon to help destroyed giant meteors before they reach to earth's atmosphere. All they need to do is place the giant lenses into the canon and it's fully ready."
Dr. Wily soon stop working on Gravity Man's buster after Proto Man give more details which got him REALLY interested as he turn to Proto Man. "A Laser cannon, you say? Hmmm yes. YES! This is perfect!" Wily starts cackling, "If we steal the Laser Cannon and the lenses, I, the brilliant Dr. Wily, will rule the world from the above! No one will stop me!"
"Should we begin a quick training for space travel?"
"Don't be a fool. I'm a genius, I don't need any 'special' training! I know how things work in outer space!"
"Alright, alright." Proto Man said, calming him down. "I'll assemble a team of Wily Numbers to come on to this space mission, and will be ready to take our leave in a hour." Proto Man smirked.
"Excellent. By the time we sneak into the shuttle, it will be too late for those fools to stop us." Dr. Wily said with an evil grin.
Florida:
The next day, the day has come as the shuttle is getting ready to launch at the launch site. So many news vehicles were gathered around to document the event even Plum, who is excited to be here to report this big event. A huge crowd already taken seat on the of bleachers to watch the launch. That includes Mega Man, Roll, Cut Man, Dr. Light , and Guts Man, who sat above them so he can have extra room to sit. But they wouldn't gotten extra seats if it weren't for their new friend and daughter of Tom name Tina McIntyre, who looks pre-teen with large round glasses and a pink bandana tied into a bow in her hair, sat between Dr. Light and Mega Man.
"T minus five and counting...all astronauts to the shuttle entry," said the loudspeaker.
Tina happily turn to Mega Man. "Isn't this exciting, Mega? It's my father's first shuttle flight!"
"I'm sure he'll be a first-rate Shuttle Captain," said Mega Man with smile.
"He was a fine student. I was sad when he left robotics and joined the space program," Dr. Light said reminiscently.
"He should be coming by any minute," Tina said brightly. "I can't wait for daddy take me to space next time because I spent my summer attending at space camp and I've learn everything to become an astronaut just like my dad. My friend Geo is going to be so jealous."
The Launch is about to start as Shuttle Captain Tom McIntyre and his second pilot just come out of breakroom but then were stop by the surprised appearance of Dr. Wily, who waiting for them.
"Good afternoon, gentlemen. You don't mind if we tag along on your space mission, do you?"
Both pilots gasped. "Wily?! How did you get here?! You're not supposed to be in here—"
Tom was cut short when Proto Man knock both of them out from behind.
Wily snickers. "Good. We don't have much time. By time we head to storage hanger, my robots should already secure the area."
In storage hanger, ground crew drones are stacking heavy cubicles filled with supplies onto the back of a cargo transport.
"Good afternoon," rumbled a deep voice from behind them.
One of the robot drones was suddenly shoved him headfirst into a storage locker.
"Time for you to punch out, chump!" Wood Man thundered, sinking his fist into the locker's door.
Three of the human crew members overseer shouted in surprise as Wood Man reached for another robot drone, fled toward the hangar's exit in panic.
"Run all you want...you're only cutting your life shorter!" Metal Man shouted after him, summon his Metal Blade from his hand and throws it. It slice through the chain clean that was holding a hollow OMS engine casing aloft, which fell over the human's head. "Shoot. I missed."
"It's time I ground you boys!" Gravity Man shouted to the last two human, used his Gravity Hold for his right hand to forcedly pinned the other humans on the ground by pure force.
While Metal Man, Wood Man, and Gravity Man finished subduing the rest of the robot drones, two figures wearing the Shuttle Captain and second pilot's spare spacesuits entered the room, their visors on their helmet completely obscuring their faces but it's obvious who the two astronauts are in those suits.
"All set?" asked Crystal Man. He is an humanoid android with a white face mask, red eyes, powder blue armor, a big crystal spheres adorning on his helmet, large and bulkier shoulders, boots, and arms with two crystal ring on each of them. Although not as powerful as Napalm Man and Pharaoh Man, but he ranks the high level with them as many dangerous threats in the Wily Numbers army for his leadership and team strategy.
The figure wearing Tom McIntyre's space suit nodded. "Good," said Crystal Man. "Metal Man, Star Man, Gravity Man! Time to ship out."
"Whatever you say, Crystal Man," said Gravity Man, not looking too happy.
"Hey, what about me?" Wood Man asked Crystal Man.
"Return back to Skull Fortress," Crystal Man then soon interrupted Wood Man to explain further. "And before you asked, the reason you can't take part of this mission is because you're part tree, and your system can't function in a cold deep space. You'll be like a frozen statute."
"Darn it." Wood Man pouted as he crosses his arms.
"At least you're lucky, Wood Man. I don't know why I'm coming long as he knows my powers don't work in outer space." Gravity Man complained, adding two extra supply cubicles to the cargo transport using his Gravity Hold powers.
"True." Crystal Man nodded, then explained further so he could understand. "But The space station-1 is already equipped with a shield that is protecting the station in case of meteoroids and with this shuttle we're hijacking that connects to the station, we can easily bypass through. And inside, your powers will still work there as long the gravity is on." Crystal Man then noticed we're missing a robot here. "Where's Star Man?"
"Right here!" Star Man shouted, rushes in. He's an humanoid and average robot with seemingly a black body and has shiny green eyes. He has a brownish helmet with a shiny yellow star on top front, a blue armor with orange edges, a giant star-shaped part on front of his armor, white right hand, a brownish bracer with a star on the side on his right arm, brownish buster cannon on his left arm, a brownish codpiece, brownish leg armors with a yellow star, and white feet. He also has yellow small star marks on both of his face cheeks. "Sorry, there's a nasty smudge on my armor and really need to look good if I'm going to meet my star makers." Star Man said, with a flamboyant voice.
"Quiet!" Crystal Man yelled at Star Man. "The mission must success, and I don't want any of our bots to delay or screw any further. Now, let's move!"
With that settle, the second pilot hid the bodies of Tom McIntyre and the second astronaut inside one, then nodded his head toward the Robot Masters, who stepped inside the other. After securing the supply cubicles shut, the second pilot boarded the front of the cargo transport with the Shuttle Captain and drove out of the hangar. Wood Man rush back to the Skullker and return back to Skull Fortress, he still don't like that he's going to missed out all the fun
"There they are now," said Roll, pointing to the cargo transport driving toward the shuttle
"Daddy!" Tina called excitedly, jumping up and waving her arm. She raced through the bleacher aisle and down to the launch pad, stopping the cargo transport short. "Good luck, don't forget to call me from the moon!" she said jubilantly, hugging the astronaut tightly. The Shuttle Captain went rigid under her embrace and pushed her away. Then he gave a curt nod and drove off. "...Daddy?" Tina murmured uncertainly.
When Tina returned, her face had fallen and she looked extremely upset
"What's the matter Tina?" asked Roll.
"I'm not sure…my father didn't speak to me," Tina answered glumly.
"He's probably just nervous," Dr. Light said soothingly.
Tina shook her head firmly. "No, he's never acted that way before. Something's wrong." She began shivering.
Mega Man is uncertain what to do, but he can't sit by seeing Tina distressed. "Relax, Tina. I'll check it out," said Mega Man kindly. He gave her shoulder a small squeeze before hopping over the bleacher's railing.
"We'll save your seat!" Cut Man shouted to Mega Man.
Tina thank Mega Man, but she couldn't stand by sitting here, so she sneakily away to the shuttle without anyone noticed. Something is going with her dad, and she's going to find out what.
Unfortunately Mega Man reached to site too late as seen the astronauts are already aboard the shuttle elevator rising toward the cockpit, so Mega Man followed them up by climbing the elevator's steel ladder. He paused halfway up and gazed into the open cargo hold, where the four supply cubicles had been unloaded. Mega Man think it's strange that they would need all this extra equipment, he's curious to check what's inside one of them by opening the latches on its side, threw open the door, and gasped. Leaning against the cubicle's interior walls were the astronauts. They appeared to be unconscious.
"The Astronauts? Tina was right!"
"T minus one and counting...all personnel clear the launch area," said the loudspeaker.
"I got to stop the launch," Mega Man muttered aloud.
Suddenly, Metal Man, Gravity Man, Star Man, and Crystal Man burst out from the other supply cubicles.
"And we've got to stop you, blue boy!" cried Metal Man, then throws a Metal Blade at Mega Man. Mega Man dodged, but got cut off guard when Star Man fired his Star Crash weapon from his buster as it fired energy stars which hits him, bowling him back. He skidded the length of the platform outside the cargo hold to its very edge.
Crystal Man steps in front of the other Wily Numbers. "Mega Man minus four seconds and counting," said Crystal Man in his soft cool voice, his left hand raised in front of him. A perfectly round crystal orb called the Crystal Eye that materialized in his hand as he counted down, "—Three, two, one!"
His Crystal Eye shot forward like a cannonball, smacking Mega Man in the middle. Mega Man stumbled backward and toppled down the elevator shaft and landing smartly onto his back directly underneath the shuttle's twin space rockets. "Woah! Good thing Dr. Light build me stronger than Humpty Dumpty." Groaned Mega Man, rubbing his head.
"Ten seconds to ignition," announced the loudspeaker as Mega Man stood up and shook himself off, cursing himself for letting Cut Man and Guts Man ambush him like that.
"I better beat it...Huh?" As soon Mega Man was about sprint back to the bleachers, his foot snagged on something. He looked down and discovered that his boot had been caught fast in a bend of metal bolted to the launch pad. "Uh oh!"
"Five, four, three—" counted down the loudspeaker, the crowd joining in.
Roll, Cut Man, Guts Man, and Dr. Light were beginning to wonder what was taking Mega Man so long when Cut bolted up from his seat when he spotted out there.
"What the heck is Mega doing over there?" Cut Man pointed.
"Oh no! Rock is in trouble!" Roll cried.
Now everything is settle, they can finally lower their visors down revealing to be both Proto Man and Dr. Wily sitting in the Captain's seat. Then, Proto Man can see Mega Man struggling below through one of the shuttle's video monitors. "I'm pushing the ignition button, I want to personally fry my mega bro," said Proto Man.
"Be my guest, Proto Man," answered Dr. Wily.
"Sorry little brother. Just hope you're fast enough to escape. We still need you on the team." Proto Man thought to himself, before pushing the button.
"If I don't act fast I'm going to be mega-melted!" Mega Man said to himself, struggling to escape. He quickly got fired at the binding around his foot as the rockets burst into blinding light on either side as the wall of dense smoke blanketed him with Mega Man ran from the launch area.
The crowd was on its feet cheering the successful launch as Mega Man returned to the bleachers. "Are you alright?" Roll asked.
"Yeah, but Dr. Wily's bots have Tina's dad and the other astronauts tied up in the shuttle hold," whispered Mega Man. The gang including Mega Man noticed Tina is gone. "Hey, where is Tina?"
"She was here a moment ago," said Roll, glancing down their bleacher row.
"Don't worry, Miss Roll. Me and Guts Man will go find her." Said Cut Man.
"Then, there's no time to lose!" interrupted Dr. Light. "We've got to get to Mission Control, hurry!"
While both Cut Man and Guts Man search out the whole area to look for Tina, Mega Man, Dr. Light, and Roll already arrived at Mission Control center and filled the man name Reeds on what's going on. "—And now, Dr. Wily has control of the shuttle, but we don't know what he's after," Dr. Light said, concluding his explanation.
"I'm afraid I do, Dr. Light," Reeds responded. "The shuttle's mission is to transport the lens of our new Sun focusing Super-laser from the space station where it was built to the Moon's surface."
"I'd fears at much," murmured Dr. Light.
"What now?" Roll questioned. "Wily is already ahead."
Dr. Light already thought of something. "I think I may know how we catch up to Dr. Wily. But I have to work fast."
Later outside the launch pad, Dr. Light quickly finished welding the casing shut on the small twin rocket engines onto to Mega Man's back.
"There, that should do it," said Dr. Light.
"Cool! I always wanted my own rocket backpack," said Mega Man.
Roll grumbled to herself that her brother gets to go outer space. "Lucky." whispered, with her arms crossed.
"Be careful, Mega Man. Those engines develop a million pounds of thrust," said Dr. Light. "And don't worry about the shield surrounding the space station, you already built in with a security code that allows to bypass through."
"Thanks. Clear the launch pad."
Roll and Dr. Light stood back as Mega Man pressed the ignition button and take off into the air, passing through thick clouds until he he sees the outline of Florida beneath him, then reach the atmosphere, and finally space.
Cut Man and Guts Man rush to launch pad to regroup with Roll and Dr. Light.
"Was that Mega Man lifting off? Aww man we missed it." Said Cut Man, looking up the sky.
"Hey!" Roll shouted, getting the two's attention. "Did you guys find Tina?" Roll asked.
"No sorry, Miss Roll. We look everywhere but still no sign of her."
"Where could she have gone too?" Then, Roll eyes soon widen in horror. "You don't supposed...
"I hope not." Dr. Light prayed. "I truly hope not."
Inside the Shuttle, Proto Man can finally take the space suit and throws it at the back. "That's better. Those things are uncomfortable." Proto Man then noticed Dr. Wily is feeling a bit nauseous. "You look a little green there, doc. But not as green as Toad Man. I told you to take some training before we leave." Proto Man warned him.
"Shut up! I'm Just having a slight bit of headache is all." Wily lied, trying to stay focus.
"Suuuuure. Just don't blame me when you puke inside your helmet."
Things went went quiet after that then until they ahead of them was Space Station 1, a donut shaped structure with a sphere suspended in its middle as they're approaching. "We'll be arriving at the space station in five minutes," said Dr. Wily. "Take the controls, I'll brief the others."
"Ten four, supreme space cadet sir," said Proto Man with a sly smirk.
To this day, Dr. Wily still don't know where Proto Man keep coming up with these lines.
Metal Man, Star Man, Gravity Man, and Crystal Man were gathered around a crate in the cargo hold playing poker while they guarded the astronauts, who were tied up in a corner.
"My deal." Gravity Man said, stacking the cards with his right hand. "Cut the cards." Gravity Man told Metal Man when giving him the card.
"Sure." Metal Man grabbed the cards, then look confused when the other bots looking him with a surprised reaction. "What?"
"We actually thought you would literally cut the cards."
"Who do you think I am? That downgrade loser Cut Man? Don't make me puke."
Star Man jump into the conversation, but with a different subject. "What wonders I'll experience once we arrived? To finally see my own star brethren. Should I faint, or be super exciting? Or...
"How about shutting it up? Will that do?" Said Gravity Man, getting annoyed by Star Man.
Without any knowledge from Dr. Wily or any of his robots, it soon reveal that Tina had stow away inside the shuttle wearing her own space suit but red. She peep from the corner and to her shock, she found her dad tied up. Tom soon noticed his daughter with a quick gasp, but not too loud as he doesn't want Wily's robots to know. She waive to her dad s she can free him, but she knows it's too risky to help her father out so instead she stay hidden and listening in. And it's a god thing to because here comes Wily.
"Wrap it up, we'll be at the space station in any minute," said Dr. Wily.
"What are we going to do with that BIG hunk of glass once we steal it, Big W?" asked Star Man.
"That 'big hunk of glass' is a super lens for the most powerful laser in the world!" said Dr. Wily impatiently, sweeping their poker chips off the crate and spreading out the super-laser's blueprints to see. "The laser is already assembled on the moon's surface. Once we install the lens, I'll be in a position to make the nations of earth an offer they can't refuse. We'll be docking at the space station any moment, prepare for battle."
Meanwhile, Space Station 1's command center received an emergency transmission from the Space Center on Earth.
"This is Mission Control to Space Station 1, do you read me?" said Reeds appears on big monitor.
"This is Space Station 1, go ahead Mission Control," replied the Station Commander.
"Dr. Wily has hijacked a space shuttle! He's on his way to you now. We suspect he's after the solar laser lens," said Reeds.
"Copy Mission Control, we'll be waiting for them," said the Station Commander gruffly. He pressed a button on the computer console to make an announcement to all the personnel aboard Space Station 1. "This is the Station Commander, all hands, battle stations! This is not a drill!"
All space bots are arming themselves ready to fire on the the intruders, and human space troopers got on to their mini space jets as they take off towards Wily's bots to attack.
Mega Man in full speed still flying towards to the station and by the looks of it the battle is already starting after the space shuttle went through the shield.
"Opening shuttle bay doors," said Dr. Wily, speaking into his communicator.
A few moments later, Proto Man, Metal Man, Star Man, and Crystal Man shot out of the space shuttle into space, propelled by jetpacks. Except for Gravity Man who stay behind since he's power don't work in space and will only getting himself killed.
Human-piloted space ships opens fire on Wily's robots while the squadron of armed robo-defense drones on the station firing upward at them. The Robot Masters split to take down each and every one of those jets. Metal Man throws multiple Metal Blades that slices their ships guns disabling them. Proto Man fired his buster destroying their weapons as well, and even damage their wings forcing the pilots to retreat black into the Space Station 1 for safety.
"Oooooh space bots, ready or not, here I come!" Said Star Man, excitedly enjoying himself in outer space. He then charged up his buster using his Star Crash to create a giant star energy shield.
Star Man was the first one landed on one of the suspension bridges connecting Space Station 1's outer ring to the command center, then used his Star Crash barrier to block the robo-defense drones laser's. "Sorry, boys, this is Wily's space station now! So kindly get off!" Star Man shouted, then release his Star Crash shield to destroy the bridge causing the space bots to fall to their destruction. "Phew! That shield takes a lot out of me, better not try that for a while." Star Man panted. "Still...it's soooo good to be finally be in outer space for the first time!" He giggles like a little girl, then dance a bit.
Crystal Man landed second right in front of another troop on Space Station 1's shuttle pad. "Alright, everyone evacuate this space station, now!" Crystal Man ordered. They responded by shooting lasers onto to Crystal Man's crystal chest, but the lasers has no effect on him. "Hmph. Perhaps I didn't make myself crystal clear," he murmured, throwing a Crystal Eye into the center of the group which exploded. The explosion scattered the space robo-defense drones everywhere.
"Nice pitch, Crystal darling! Very tremendous! We're right on schedule, here comes Big W!" said Star Man as he, Metal Man, and Proto Man joined Crystal Man on the shuttle pad. Crystal Man helped guide Dr. Wily as he landed the shuttle. A staircase unfolded from underneath the shuttle's door and both Dr. Wily and Gravity Man climbed down.
"Follow me." Wily ordered, as he pointed to the direction their going.
Proto Man and the Wily Numbers follow him to the door.
"It's locked!" said Metal Man, after trying to open the door.
"Gravity Man, have you got the key?" asked Dr. Wily.
"Sure thing Dr. Wily!" Gravity Man raised his arm buster up, then fired his Gravity Beam that brings the entire wall down. After Gravity Man had cleared it away, Dr. Wily, Proto Man, and rest of the Robot Masters strode inside. "You're right, Crystal Man. Once we went through the force field, the gravity here is normal." Gravity Man laughed.
"Ah! Feast your eyes—the solar focusing lens," Dr. Wily announced with a sinister chuckle, gazing the beauty of the giant lens. "Once I get it to the moon and into the super-laser, the world will bow down at my command," said Dr. Wily, holding out his hands greedily. "Gravity Man, put the lens into the shuttle."
"No sweat!" answered Gravity Man. He walked over to the lens with his right arm to reached out in order to used his Gravity Hold up in close. Suddenly, he was repelled by a sharp electric force that knock him back crash into Metal Man and Star Man. "Ow, what hit me?" he yelled in indignation, detangling himself from Metal Man and Star Man.
Proto Man carefully stepped forward to touch it with his hands as he can fell an electric charge course into his circuits. "It's protected by a forcefield."
"And controlled by this computer," said Crystal Man, gesturing toward a large terminal computer place beside the lens.
Dr. Wily walked over to looked over the computer. "It's designed to destroy the lens if shut off without a proper code," Wily said.
"I guess you blew it this time, Wily," said Proto Man, crossing his arms. He already knows the mission was a bust, and Wily didn't think things through and quickly screw it up.
"I don't think so, Proto Man," growled Dr. Wily, who's avarice was only growing stronger. Proto Man opened his mouth, about to retort, then closed it as Dr. Wily continued, "Star Man, bring me the astronauts."
"Nuts! The battle is already over, and Wily is already inside...I'm just hope I'm not too late." Mega Man said to himself, still trying to reach the space station-1
Back in the Shuttle's cargo hold, Tina fumbled with the ropes tied around Tom McIntyre and the other pilot, which was difficult work through the thick gloves of her space suit.
"Hurry Tina!" urged Tom McIntyre.
"I'll have you free in a second, Daddy!" said Tina earnestly.
They heard the door to the cargo hold slide open meaning is coming, her father told Tina to hide which she did dashingly before Star Man entered.
"Alright you two, this way," Star Man ordered, slashing through their bindings and pointing toward the plug door.
Tom McIntyre and the second pilot obeyed and forced to follow Star Man, leaving Tina behind still in hiding.
"Welcome, gentlemen," Dr. Wily greeted as Star Man shoved both the astronauts into the storage vault. "I need the forcefield locking codes."
"You need your head examined if you think you'll get them from us!" Tom McIntyre answered angrily.
"Oh I think I will, I think I will!" sneered Dr. Wily. "Metal Man, make them talk!"
"Haha, my pleasure!"
Metal Man equipped his right arm with a buzzsaw blade as he take advanced toward the astronauts very menacingly, when Star Man suddenly shouted in alarm, "My glorious eyes! Mega Man!"
Mega Man jetted into the storage vault, using the force of his rocket jetpack to tackle Metal Man and knock him into the solar laser lens. The force field repeals sent Metal Man flying into Star Man. Then, fast blast Gravity Man in the chest knocking him down. But just before Mega Man could fight both Proto Man and Crystal Man next, they were interrupted by a shrill voice.
"Daddy!" Tina cried. She couldn't stand it anymore as she tries to rush to her dad's aid. "Ooooo!" she squeaked as Dr. Wily instantly snatched her by the shoulder and pulled her to him.
"That's close enough, Mega Man," warned Dr. Wily, his hand hovering over a red button on the jetpack strapped on the back of Tina's space suit. "Now take a hike, or I'll turn this rocket pack on and launch this girl into space."
Mega Man threw up his hands compliantly. "Alright Wily, just don't harm her," he said, activating his rocket jetpack and blasting upward and out of sight of the space station.
Dr. Wily turned toward Tom McIntyre, still holding Tina threateningly. "Unlock the force field."
Tina looked both terrified and apologetically at her father. Dave McIntyre bowed his head, helpless. He walked over to the storage vault's computer terminal, entered his passcode, then stood back so Buzz Picard could enter his.
"Gravity Man!" Dr. Wily barked. Gravity Man walked over to the solar laser lens and used his Gravity Hold to lifted it with his hand which is not easy for being so heavy. While he was carefully edging back toward the shuttle Dr. Wily turned toward Proto Man. "Proto Man...you know what to do."
"Hey, don't I always?" He smirked.
Proto Man picked up what looked like a fire extinguisher case and carrying it out as he walked outside the storage vault.
"You're coming with us," Dr. Wily growled at the astronauts, and Tina
After the Shuttle left, Mega Man returned to Space Station 1, hoping to find Tina or the astronauts, but the storage vault was empty. Wily has successfully stole the lens, and taken Tina and the astronauts hostage aboard into the shuttle. Wait! He then had a better luck and to his surprised he sees Tina safe and sound, it looks like he let her go as he has no used for her.
"Are you alright?" stammered Mega Man in surprise.
"Yes, but that maniac has got my father!" responded Tina, looking frightened.
"How did you get here in the first place? You know it's dangerous for you to come out in space by yourself."
"I'm sorry, I just couldn't sit by and watch my dad being held captive. Please, you got to save my daddy."
"Don't worry Tina, I'll get him back. But you need to-"
Suddenly, Dr. Wily appeared on the monitor computer terminal monitor screen with a grin on his face interrupting Mega Man. By the looks of it, a prerecorded message send by Wily himself.
"Oh, Mega Man...I almost forgot to tell you. Before I left, I planted a little bomb, nothing fancy...just big enough to destroy the entire space station," said Dr. Wily's. "You've got one hour to find it." Dr. Wily began to laugh cruelly as the video cut out.
"This is all my fault, if I hadn't stowed away, Dr. Wily would have never been able to get that lens," Tina sadden, blaming herself.
"There's no time to worry who's to blame," Mega Man murmured back. "We got to find that bomb."
Earth:
"This is Mega Man to Mission Control." Mega Man contacting, appearing on the monitor of the Mission control center.
"This is Mission Control," Reeds answered, with Roll, Dr. Light, Cut Man, and Guts Man stood at his side.
"Dr. Light, Wily planted a bomb on the space station. It'll blow in less than an hour if we don't find it," said Mega Man speaking through
"We don't have any bomb scanning equipment," said Reeds.
"Yes we do," Roll said brightly, petting Rush. "Rush's nose!"
"She's right," said Dr. Light. "I programmed Rush's nose to be able to sniff out anything! But how can we get him to the space station?"
"There's an experimental rocket on pad 9," answered Reeds, pointing at another monitor shows a rocket. "If you don't mind risking your neck, it'll get you there in less than an hour."
"I'll take that risk," said Roll instantly. "C'mon Rush!"
"Wait! Take Cut Man and Guts Man with you." Said Dr. Light. "You're going to need some extra help when you get there."
Cut Man gulped in fear. "M-me? Out in space? What if there's aliens out there? Maybe it's safe if I stay here with you, Dr. Light."
Roll groans in frustrations as she facepalmed. "Cut Man, get real. There are no aliens. Now, let's go!"
Roll, Rush, Cut Man, Guts Man's rush out of Mission Control. Then, Roll climbed into the pilot seat of the tiny cockpit, buckling Rush into the seat next to her, and both Cut Man and Guts Man sitting in back. Before taking off, Roll quickly read and studied the controls of the rocket memorizing everything in her memory banks. Now, she's ready and began ignition button. The engines began to activate, it's picking up speed, then finally launch up to the sky in full speed. All the way to the Earth's atmosphere, and finally we made it to outer space.
Roll smiled. "Hang on, guys! I'm putting her in warp drive!"
"Oh no." Cut Man panics, as he covers his eyes.
The rocket now travels even further through hyper speed making Cut Man scream like a little girl.
Moon:
The moonbase were already alerted by the Space Station-1 about Wily and are fully prepared to defend the Sunfocusing Super-laser with their lives with many of the space bot security forces open fired on the shuttle, but every shot they throw at misses as the Shuttle lands in midst of the security drones.
Proto Man opens the shuttle's door to lead the invasion by starting blasting some the drones and their space vehicles into pieces, and their defenses. Metal Man, Star Man, and Crystal Man followed close behind, to fight as well. Gravity Man sits this one out from the battle since his powers don't work in space, so he'll wait until they secure the moonbase.
Crystal Man dodges and flips over the defense's laser while holding his Crystal Eye with his hand. "You guys are about to go where no bots has gone before!" Shouted Crystal Man, launching his Crystal Eye on the ground exploding as he watches the drones fell down into the hole. Metal Man charges forward with his double buzzsaw sawing off the drones in half even as he laughs sadistically. The battle lasted for eight minutes, they had secured the perimeter.
They entered the base through its airlock on the north side and stormed down a corridor. Star Man fired his Star Crash destroying two drones who were guarding the entrance, then blast open the locked door leading to the command center. "Heeeeerrrreee'sssss Star Man!" With a booming voice as he winks. The astronauts fled out the command center, but Gravity Man joins in to stop them by rounding them up and take them prisoners. Star Man picked up an handheld communicator. "The base is secure, Big W."
"Excellent," replied Dr. Wily, who was waiting safely in the shuttle along with Gravity Man. "Phase one of my plan is almost complete. Get the lens!"
"Sure thing Doc," answered Proto Man
"Once the lens is in place, I will control the most powerful laser in the world," Dr. Wily said dreamily, Metal Man and Proto Man went outside to install the heavy solar laser lens on top of the Laser cannon together.
Space Station-1:
Mega Man, Tina, and the astronauts are still searching for the bomb all over. They already shut off the force field around the space station in order to escape if the bomb went off.
"Nothing here." Said Tina, looking in the floor hatch.
"We got less than three minutes before the bomb blow." Mega Man said, checking the timer on his buster. "I hope Roll and Rush get her on time."
Meanwhile, Roll and the others are almost reaching their destination towards the space station-1.
"We're almost there guys." Roll said, then noticed Cut Man acting even stranger than usual.
Cut Man feeling not so good but also relief that they finally made it. "Thank...goodness. Because right now...I'm feeling a bit motion sickness." Cut Man burped, as he looks like he's ready to vomit.
"Cut Man, if you puke in here. Then you can just fly back to earth alone." Roll warned him with a threat. "We're here!"
They finally reach Space Station-1, landed on the shuttle pad, and raced out the rocket and all the way into the control room just as Roll and Rush entered the Space Station along with Guts Man, who is carrying the sickly Cut Man.
"Roll, you're just in time!" Said Mega Man.
"What's wrong with your friend?" Tina asked Roll, pointed at Cut Man still feeling sick.
"Don't worry about him. He'll shake it off."
Guts Man laugh, then mocked Cut Man. "Poor, Cut Man. Can't handle a little trip to space."
"Why...you..."
"Focus! The bomb's set to go off in less then a minute! And we need to hurry and find it!" said Mega Man.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Roll quipped. Rush wagged his tail at the sight of his master.
Mega Man turn Rush as he's happy to see him. "Go get the bomb, Rush!" Mega Man ordered.
Rush barked obeying his master, then padded through Space Station 1 sniffing the bomb as Mega Man and everyone else follow him. They circled around hallway, through the breakroom, and pass the airlock. He then stop and found a fire extinguisher mounted in the center of the command center fire extinguisher at first glance, then gave a sharp bark, then began pawing at the glass. It was right there in plain sight.
"There it is!" said Roll.
"It's about to blow! There's no time to diffuse it," Mega Man said, his voice rising. Mega Man grab the bomb, then increased his running speed to reach outside of the command center, and then used his full strength throw the bomb out in face. It explodes with a wide range that knock Mega Man on his back, but the explosion didn't take effect on the entire station.
Roll, Rush, Tina, Cut Man, and Guts Man rush out of the center to see if Mega Man isn't hurt.
"You okay?" Asked Tina, feeling concern of Megas's safety.
"Yeah, but we still got to get to the moon!" Said Mega Man.
"Let's get going. Tina, you have to stay here where it's safe." Roll ordered. "We'll pick you up once we take care of Wily."
Tina angrily refused. "No way! My dad is still with Wily, and all this is my fault! I want to make things right!"
Mega Man sighed. "Alright, you can come. But you have to stay close with us, ok?"
Tina smiled as she nods."
"Alright let's go!"
Mega Man activate his rocket and take off into space while Roll and the others rush back inside to the rocket and take took off following Mega Man. The Astronauts waive goodbye and wish them good luck.
Moonbase:
Crystal Man strode into the command center, checking the laser cannon to operational. "The laser's ready, Dr. Wily."
Dr. Wily brightened. "Gooood…now to give my friends at the United Nations a call," he said, turning toward the video transmitter on the main frame.
Earth:
During an assembly gathering in the United Nations' headquarters as the Secretary-General began announcing a new order of business, Dr. Wily pop up in the nation's giant video screen interrupting their meeting.
"So sorry to interrupt, gentlemen, but unless you turn over command of all nations to me at once, I will be forced to demonstrate the awesome power of my new solar laser."
"I think I speak for all nation when I tell you we will turn nothing over to you, Dr. Wily," said the Secretary-General.
"Eh, have it your way—Observe." Dr. Wily give Crystal Man the cue, who is manned the giant laser cannon. The Laser Cannon charging up, then a white beam shot forth from it, crossing space all the way to earth striking struck at the ocean nearby, instantly evaporating in a sec. And that was only on low power "You've got three hours to decide what to do…" Dr. Wily resumed, returning to the screen. "Then, I start shooting entire cities. I hope you make the right decisions. Mweheheh.' He laughed manically, ending the transmission.
Everyone turned silent not knowing what to do. Should they give demands to Dr. Wily, or don't sacrificing some cities.
Back in outer space, Mega Man, and the others already witness the danger of that laser. They're almost there to the moon. So prepare yourself Wily.
"Big W! I just spotted Mega Man and another ship on the moonbase radar! They'll be here any minute!" Star Man cried, dashing out of the radar room.
"Weeellll…WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!" Dr. Wily demanded in a harsh tone making Star Man jump. Then change his voice tone to normal, "Roll out...the red carpet."
"You got it," answered Crystal Man, sliding into the chair in front of Laser's targeting computer. Then, grab hold of the Laser's hand held trigger to use it to lock on target at Mega Man's approach, and then pulling the trigger to fire.
Without warning, the laser hit Mega Man at point range destroying his rockets as well.
"Mega!" Roll shouted, leaping up from her seat.
Mega Man screams as his lifeless body spiraling downward before crashing into the Moon's surface, leaving a perfectly round crater.
"Got 'em!" announced Crystal Man, snapping his fingers.
Proto Man not looking too happy that he didn't get a chance to finish his brother off, but knowing that laser didn't destroy him completely. He still has a chance. All he has to to do is wait for his second chance for triumph.
Roll then received an incoming video transmission from the moonbase, no choice but to accept it as it's Dr. Wily that send it.
"As you can see, Mega Man is history! Bring your ship in now, or I'll evaporate it." Dr. Wily threaten Roll, with a smirk.
"Alright, don't shoot!" answered Roll.
Roll's rocket landed on the moon's surface, then she and everyone else exited out and take cover in one of the Moon's craters as they spotted Metal Man and Star Man out of the moonbase ready to take prisoners as they're running towards them. "You make a run for it, Tina. We'll cover you."
"What about you?" Tina asked Roll.
"Don't worry about us. RUN!" She ordered Tina.
Tina climbs out of the crater to make a run for it into the moonbase passing by Metal Man and Star Man.
"Hey! She's getting away!" Star Man pointed.
"She won't." Metal Man said coldly, holding a Metal Blade ready to throw at the girl's legs, but then get his hand chipped off by Cut Man's Rolling Cutter as he cried out in pain.
Cut Man's shears return back on his head. "Hey, Metal Man! You better cut that serial killer vibe out, or I'll have to cut you down to size!"
Metal Man groans in anger. "I'm going slice you into silicon!" He threaten Cut Man.
Roll equipped her arm to a blow dryer and stars blowing on the ground which effected Metal Man and Star Man's face as they cower back by the strong wind combining with the moon dust.
"Hey! Stop it! Do you know hard it is to keep this body nice and shiny!" Star Man cough, covering his face.
Unware, Proto Man sneak up behind to hoisted Roll over his shoulder while she struggled and kicked him in the side. "Give it up, sis."
"I'm not your sis!" Roll snapped.
"Miss Roll!"
Rush snarls ready to attack Proto Man.
Guts Man growls, ready to clobber Proto Man. "You better put her down, or-"
Metal Man laughs. "Don't even bother. We're in control here. So you clods better surrender, or I'll turn that pretty body into shredded parts."
Proto Man angrily turn to Metal Man. "I don't need you speak for me, Metal Man. And I don't appreciate you make those kind of threats towards my sister."
Roll growls "I told you, I'm not your sis," She then turn to Cut Man and Guts Man. "Don't worry about me! Beat the scrap out of them, guys!"
Sorry Roll. Cut Man, Guts Man, and Rush has no choice but to complied and let Proto Man and the others take them away inside.
Inside the moonbase, Proto Man already drop off Roll and the others into a security vault where all the rest of the astronauts. Then, he activate a energy forcefield across the only entrance. They looked up at Proto Man's approach.
Proto Man smirked. "That'll keep you outta trouble." He said, then strode away.
Roll glared him as he leaves, then defiantly touched the forcefield with her finger only to get a sharp sting of electricity which rebounded her. Thankfully, Tom McIntyre rushed forward caught her by the shoulders before she fell backwards.
"Oops, I guess it works!" she said sheepishly.
"Ha! No worries! I'll just punch through this wall and will be out of here in no time!"
Roll rush to stop Guts Man before he throws a punch on to the wall. "No, Guts Man! The astronauts are not wearing their helmets. They'll suffocate out there."
"Oh. Sorry." Guts Man apologized, lowering his fist.
"All we could could do now is wait and hope Tina finds Mega Man before Wily or any of his creep bots find her." Roll said.
"Tina." Tom McIntyre said to himself, feeling so worried about his daughter and helpless on not doing anything to protect her.
Meanwhile, Tina found a perfect hiding safe in engine from any of Wily's bots who are patrolling the halls. She then take outs video communicator that she snatch's from one of the astronauts bunker and starting to contact earth.
"Tina to Mission Control. Can you hear?" Tina whispered, speaking through the communicator.
"Tina? Is that you? Are you alright? Where's Mega Man and the others?"
"I'm fine, Dr. Light. I'm hiding in the engine room. Roll and the others have been captured, and Mega Man is badly hurt. We need help!"
"Calm down, Tina. We've traced Mega Man through our space telescope. I think I may know how to stop Dr. Wily, but I'm going to need your help. Can you do it?" Dr. Light asked Tina, speaking through the communicator.
"No problem."
"Okay, you need to get to Mega Man. Open his access panel, and press the code 1-2-1-7-1-9-8-7. His manual backup repair system will kick in. Then, have him go to the moonbase satellite command center, and call me for further instruction."
"I'll try."
Tina ended the transmission, then sneak out of the engine room and carefully head back to the entrance of the moonbase. But what she didn't know is that Crystal Man caught her sneaking out, he already knows where she's going so he follows her that will lead to Mega Man. That way he'll finish him off for good.
Outside of the moonbase, Tina looked around until she finds Mega Man, who is in one of the Moon's carter and was badly damage and scorched, but still intact. Lucky that beam is low power. She struggles to carry Mega Man's out of the crater with both arms, then she flip him to lay on his chest to open a panel on his back and hit the codes that Dr. Light had gave her, and then a smile across her face when she sees Mega Man successfully rebooted feeling fully repaired.
"Thanks, I was having a nightmare," mumbled Mega Man as he smiled. But then he smile faded when he doesn't see Roll, Rush, Cut Man, and Guts Man. "And by the looks of it, Wily and those punks got Roll and the others. I'll have to rescue them later. In the meantime, I need to figure a way to stop the Laser cannon."
"There is. We need to get back to satellite command center. Dr. Light had figure out a way to stop Wily."
"You're stopping no one."
A familiar voice got both Mega Man and Tina surprised. It's Crystal Man, who follow Tina to the crater and without further delay, he throws his Crystal Eye at them. Mega Man and Tina jump out of the way before the Crystal Eye impact into the crater and explode.
"Now it's my turn!" Mega Man opened fired on Crystal Man, but he dodges.
The two bots then clash across the moon's dusty surface, trading punches and kicks as clouds of gray dust erupt beneath their feet, even trying to blast each other with their own weapons. Tina witness the whole fight seeing how awesome Mega Man fighting Crystal Man.
Crystal Man suddenly lunges forward, grab hold of Mega Man's arm "Gotcha!"
Mega Man manage to reach forward, placing his hand against Crystal Man's chest with his hand surge of light coping his Crystal Eye weapon.
"And I got your powers."
Crystal Man throws Mega Man over his shoulder with a powerful judo flip. "Did you forget that I don't need my powers to stomp you!" He leaps high into the low lunar gravity, aiming a devastating dive kick towards Mega Man.
Mega Man, still on the ground, raises his arm cannon and fired a single Crystal Eye orb. The crystal projectile slams directly into Crystal Man's chest which explode, shattering his armor and destroyed his left arm. The impact throws him off balance, and he crashes onto the moon's surface, landing on his neck before collapsing on his chest.
Damaged and barely functional, Crystal Man glares at Mega Man. "I'll get you for this...Mega Man!"
"I got to get to the satellite command center."
"Go on. I'll be okay."
Mega Man nod and rush back inside the base.
"Well, gentlemen? Your time is up. Shall I start shooting?"
"No! We've come to a decision," General-secretary began reluctantly. "We will turn over control to you—"
But Dr. Light abruptly cuts off General-secretary before he makes his final decision.
"No! They won't turn over anything to you, Albert! I won't let them!"
"Thomas! You'll regret this you fool!" Dr. Wily growled, ended the transmission. Then, Dr. Wily whirled toward Proto Man. "Charge up the laser to full power! We're going to destroy an entire city with everyone in it!"
"Everyone in it? Woah, Drama Queen. Don't you think that's a bit too far?" Proto Man asked, concerning. Proto Man may hate the humans, but he doesn't want kill them. Just to keep them as slave or give them punishment. "Besides, the nations had already accepted your demand. What Dr. Light say don't matter." Added Proto Ma, trying to reason with Wily.
"I don't care! No one refuse Dr. Wily and get's- what that noise?"
Everyone froze when they heard an loud explosion, Metal Man used the surveillance camera and spotted Mega Man entering the satellite command center.
"It's Mega Man!"
"GET HIM!" Wily shouted, ordering his bots. "Proto Man, stay here and make sure the cannon charged to fire!"
Metal Man, Star Man, and Gravity Man obey and race to the satellite command center.
"I'm at the satellite command center, doc. What do I do now?"
"You got to lock the space telescope on to Wily laser aiming signal. This will cause the telescope to turn it's reflected mirror toward the moon, and reflect the laser beam back at Wily." Dr. Light explained, speaking through the monitor.
"Will do."
Mega Man works as fast as he could by pressing a lot buttons. "I hope this works." The telescope began turning to face the moon.
Star Man blast the door off with his Star Crash, then turn to Mega Man with a smirked as he enters follow by Metal Man. "You've been a bad boy, Mega Man. Time for your punishment." Star Man fired his Star Crash again, but this time he miss Mega Man when he dodges and hit the controls. With the controls destroyed, they can't revert the telescope but to it's original positions now it's in a permitted lock. Mega Man had already won the fight.
"FIRE!" Wily commanded Proto Man
Proto Man pulled the trigger firing the laser to the Earth but instead hit the mirror on the giant telescope.
Proto Man smirked, noticing that Mega Man reflect the laser back at them. "Very clever bro." He said to himself, then jump out. "Time bail, Doc!"
The bright laser shot reflected back to the Moonbase, resulting in destroying the laser cannon causing a small explosion at the Moonbase.
Dr. Wily rush to put his helmet back on and flee out of the moonbase following Proto Man back to the shuttle.
"Looks like you've failed, boys," called Mega Man smirked, then equipped his buster and blast through Gravity Man's chest which knock him back against the wall leaving a huge hole.
In a rare moment where Metal Man acts like Cut Man which disgust him. "I'm cutting out of here!" Metal Man shouted, turning on his heel.
"That's a wrap. Hey, wait for me!" said Gravity Man.
Star Man sighed in sadness. "Now I'll never get to speak to my star people or go outer space ever again."
Mega Man tries to go after them, but Gravity Man used the last bit of his energy for his Gravity Beam to bring the ceiling down on Mega Man for them to escape.
"Get us out of here!" Dr. Wily barked at Proto Man.
Proto Man press the ignition button. Metal Man, Star Man, and Gravity Man rush aboard the shuttle. Crystal Man was the last one and not looking too happy as he staggered as fast as he could while holding his broken arm and made it inside the shuttle before they take off. With the doors close, the shuttle launch and then basted off quickly off the Moon. By the time Mega Man finally reached, they already escape. He swore that he'll get them another time.
Later, Mega Man had already rescue Roll, Rush, Cut Man, Guts Man, Tom McIntyre, and the rest of the astronauts by freeing them from their prison. Tina had a tearful reunion with her father as she rush to hug her dad to apologizes, and promised never to stow away on a space shuttle again. "Don't worry about it baby." Tom said, hugging her back.
"I couldn't have done it without, Tina." Mega Man smiled.
"And we would have been space debris without your help, Mega Man." Tom said.
The two handshake. "It was my pleasure, Mr. McIntyre."
And so the day is save once again, Mega Man, Roll, Rush, Cut Man, and Guts Man are ready to head back home by taking the Rocket that Roll was using. Everyone waived goodbye to their heroes and Tina told her friends to come by anytime. The astronauts got a lot of work to do to repair the moonbase, the satellite center, and the space station-1 and Tina is ready by any means. Roll hits the ignitions for the rocket to move, and take off into space.
"I just hope Tina and her father will be okay. Just hate that we have to leave them there." Said Mega Man, feeling worry.
"Don't worry, bro. They said they'll be fine since they said they got a lot repairing to do before coming back home. And plus, ground base will send a second shuttle to come pick them very soon. "
Cut Man sigh in relief. "I'm just so glad there aren't any aliens out here to face off."
"Are you still on that?" Roll getting annoyed. "For the last time, ALIENS. DON'T. EXIST."
"But they are. I've seen videos of UFO sighting, suspicious men dress in black, and the big one...Area 51."
Roll scowled. "Those are just crazy conspiracy of the internet."
"But it's true! And I know what I say online, and still believe something scary out in deep space waiting to attack us one day."
As the two argue, Mega Man sighed to himself as he look at Guts Man and Rush with the same reaction. "This going to be a long trip home."
Roll is right. I'm sure there aren't any aliens out in space...or are they.
Outside of the solar system, colossal black warship emerges from a swirling transwarp vortex. Crimson lights pulse across its armored hull as the engines cool from the jump. The stars of the distant solar system fade behind it. Inside the bridge, towering 9 robotic warriors, that looks like earth humanoid robots, before a massive holographic star map. Every system scanned returns the same result. NO SIGNAL FOUND. NO COORDINATION DATA. RA MOON – UNKNOWN LOCATION. The bridge falls silent.
"Still Nothing! 20,000 years and not a single trace of high impulse energy!"
"A supercomputer of that magnitude cannot disappear without a trace. Frak those Star Marshals! Without the supercomputer, we can't create any more armies to fight."
The leader of these space warrior stands before the viewport, silently staring into the endless sea of stars.
One of the warriors snickers. "Since we're already in this solar system... why don't we have a little fun?" A hologram of the nearby planets appears. "One blast from our main cannon, and an entire world is destroyed. We can reduce every planet here to dust before moving on."
The leader slowly turns. "No." He coldly said.
"...No?" His eyes narrowed.
"Our master's command was clear," Leader said, "To find Ra Moon. Nothing else."
"But—
"Disobeying our master is not an option," The leader interrupted him, his purple optics glow brighter. "You know exactly what happens to failures."
The bridge grows quiet.
"He would incinerate every one of us without hesitation." Then, the leader walks toward the command platform. "Set a course for the next galaxy. Continue the search pattern. We will not stop until Ra Moon is found."
"Understood." He nods.
He raises his massive fist and drives it onto a glowing control switch.
The bridge rumbles. Outside, the warship's engines ignite with blinding blue light as a hyperspace corridor tears open ahead of them even counting down as the hyper drive charging. The enormous vessel surges forward and disappears into hyperspace. As the stars stretch into lines of light, Terra stares ahead with unwavering determination.
"Ra Moon...No matter where you have been hidden...We will find you. And when we do...The Star Marshals...and this entire galaxy......will pay.
The warship vanishes into the darkness between galaxies, continuing its relentless hunt.
