Chapter Text
“I can’t do this.” Jihun whimpered as Youjin drove towards the looming building. He was curled up on the backseat of the vehicle, eyes wide with fear.
Seungjun was sitting in the front next to the older Alpha, turning around to stare at his mate who couldn’t stop crying. Seungjun had tried to comfort the younger Omega, but Jihun, ever the stubborn boy, retaliated and pushed the Alpha away, screeching as though in agony.
Seungjun wished he could do anything. He wished he wasn’t so useless. Sure, their mating had been an accident, but he’d come to really care for the Omega. He wanted to protect him and keep him safe. Unfortunately, this was something they had to go through to be safe and to be able to grow up.
Heejun and Inseong had decided to stay back at school. Neither could stomach the appointment the others were heading too. The mere idea of Jihun suffering through this ordeal and what was to come was enough to make them sick to their stomach.
They got to the building, a large grey cinder block in the middle of a suburban area. From the outside it looked completely normal, like any other clinic, but Jihun and Seungjun knew better. They knew what happened in this clinic, knew the staff was extremely knowledgeable and they would take care of the issue, but they were still scared. Especially Jihun.
The Omega hated feeling like this. He hated this fear inside of him. Was he making the right choice? Was this really what he wanted? It was so hard to make this choice, to decide to end a life growing inside of him, but the mere thought of quitting school, not being able to have a part time job to help out with money at home… it freaked him out. So much responsibility.
And Seungjun… he was pissing him off too. Being so fucking, god damn supportive all the fucking time. He was leaving it all up to Jihun, saying stupid things like; it’s his body so he should make the choice. Jihun hated it. He wished Seungjun would just fucking speak up about his emotions.
He knew Seungjun was hurting. He could tell the other was conflicted as well and yet he never said anything against Jihun and the decisions the younger was making. He was so supportive and sweet it was tooth rotting almost. Jihun wanted him to argue, to give him choices for keeping the baby and yet he also didn’t want Seungjun to speak up.
Jihun was just a mess of conflicted feelings. The thought of keeping the baby and giving it up for adoptions echoing in his mind over and over. He kept toying with the idea of running off, keeping the thing to himself, but then he got so scared.
He felt himself shake at the mere thought of raising a child. He hated the idea. Hated it so much and yet he couldn’t shake it, images of a smaller version of himself and Seungjun, smiling and running around… but Jihun wasn’t ready. He wasn’t ready for that. He wished he was. Desperately wished he was just a bit older and be ready and good, and yet he was still too young.
Jihun groaned in the back of the car, trying to get the floodgates of tears to stop. He wanted to be strong. When he had first thought of this plan, he had imagined it to be so east. Go in, get drugged up, get a baby cut out and go home. Never in his life had the thought that he would somewhat regret this decision. He never thought he would second guess himself.
He wished someone had talked him out of it. He had gone over it countless times with Heejun and Inseong, the other two saying that he should do what he felt was best for his own body. What little help they were. He had even gone as far as to talk to the support group he’d joined not too long ago.
He hated how some of their problems were so large, so important and yet here Jihun was, complaining over a growing thing in his abdomen. He felt so ridiculous, but nobody ever seemed to judge him. Everyone was just so fucking supportive and it pissed him off. Sure, the whole point of the group was to support one another, but he wanted someone to get mad at him and call him selfish. Because that’s how he felt. He felt his emotions were nothing but selfish.
He even remembered around New Years’ when Jihun and Seungjun had gone to the elder’s home. How happy and excited the Alpha’s parents were to meet Jihun, even though they hadn’t even know he was mated. It was all so surreal.
***
Jihun felt himself shake as Seungjun drove an expensive care down the long driveway, only to be met with a mansion. Park Seungjun lived in a god forsaken mansion. Trees lines the driveway which seemed to stretch on forever, opening to a huge clearing where the large estate sat.
Jihun couldn’t help but gape at the white mansion. It looked to be recreated in an old European style with a large roof and intricate wooden designs on the outer walls. It looked as though it had been conjured straight out of a fairy tale.
Jihun knew Seungjun was rich. He’d known that one day the Alpha would take over his fathers’ large company, but he hadn’t been able to imagine such a lavish home. The Omega couldn’t even dream up a wonderful large house like this. To see something like it in real life was breathtaking.
“You grew up here?” Jihun asked. He felt sick to his stomach. He could only imagine the type of people Seungjun grew up with. Butlers, maids, gardeners… the whole royal shebang and here Jihun was, invading this world he had never even thought he could be a part of.
“Yeah. In the summer we usually went to Japan. We have a cottage on Tokashiki Island and usually went to the beach there.” The boy explained as though owning a summer cottage was the most normal thing in the world. Which for someone of Seungjun’s status must have been.
Jihun gasped, eyes wide as he stared at his mate. He couldn’t enter. He couldn’t go in there. Seungjun’s parents would kill him. They would send Jihun away…
Jihun didn’t feel worthy of the Alpha. Seungjun was so rich. He had such a prominent future. Jihun was just a poor Omega who wanted to quit school to work and provide for his poor family. He didn’t belong to a world of summer cottages in Japan and lavish too large houses.
They got to one of the five garages and Seungjun parked in front, opening the car door and walking over to Jihun’s side. The Alpha hard noticed that Jihun was quite intimidated with the whole situation. He knew he’d have to coax the Omega out to meet his family.
Because unlike what most people thought, the Park family was one of the most untraditional rich families around. Sure, they had money, they had a whole empire really, but they didn’t look down on people who had less. No, they rather respected them and how hard they worked.
Seungjun’s father tried to run his business as fairly as possible, donating much of his earned money to those less fortunate and making sure all employees got the pay they deserved. The only reason they even had the stupid summer cottage was because Seungjun’s grandfather had bought it years ago and once he’d passed he’d given it to the family.
Seungjun smiled as he helped Jihun out of the car, a hand on the boys back as he led him to the large double doors. The cold winter air chilled the pair as they made their way to the entrance, a frigid gust of wind whipping by the both of them.
“Jihun-a… you have nothing to worry about. My family will love you.” Seungjun smiled, leaning down to brush his lips to the side of Jihun’s head.
Before either could knock, the French doors burst open revealing a tall, beautiful Omega. Jihun noticed her long legs first, then her beautiful dark hair and large eyes. She was beautiful and curvy, the epitome of a perfect Omega.
She engulfed Seungjun in a hug, not noticing Jihun, even though he was plastered to his mates’ side. She sprinkled the boy with kisses, forcing the Alpha to her level, Seungjun having to let go of Jihun to accommodate her and let her lips smooch every inch of skin.
“My baby is finally home!” She cheered, “Oh how I’ve missed you!” Her voice was high pitched and smooth, echoing in Jihun’s mind.
Once she released her son she finally glanced over and looked at Jihun. Her large eyes widened as she looked to the Omega, “Oh how rude of me. Seungjun-ah!” She slapped her sons’ arm, “Why didn’t you tell me you’re bringing someone? I would have cleaned up more!” She then turned to Jihun, eyes turning into crescents as she smiled, wrinkles forming around the corners, “I’m Song Mina. Nice to meet you.”
“Kim Jihun.” He smiled and shook her outstretched hand. He didn’t know if he should say he was Seungjun’s mate or wait until everyone was gathered. Jihun knew the Alpha hadn’t told his family yet, wanting to do it face to face, even if they would be upset that the boy had hidden something so important from them for so long.
Jihun was already dreading the conversation, remembering how it had gone at his place. He didn’t want Seungjuns’ mom slapping him or anything like that.
“Oh you’re such a beautiful boy!” She gushed, pulling him closer by his hand and engulfing him in a bone crushing hug, leaving out the peppering of kisses she’d bestowed upon her son though.
Jihun could see how Seungjun was the way he was. His mother seemed to be full of affection, skin contact seeming to be something she thrived for. Her hand caressing his smooth skin, eyes widening and commenting.
Jihun couldn’t help but shiver at the cold and finally Mina realized that she had kept the boys outside, rather than invite them into their home. She gushed about how rude she was and pulled Jihun inside, Seungjun following his perplexed mate and overzealous mother with a smirk.
Seungjun knew there wouldn’t be a problem between his family and Jihun. Jihun was a perfect Omega, tall, beautiful and caring. His family would love him… maybe not Taejun, but he was still young and a loud annoying Alpha. The boy was still in middle school and thought he was hot shit because he had beaten Seungjuns’ Pacman high score over the past few months.
The Park home was huge. Large high ceilings and even a chandelier made everything seem all the more lavish and old school. Everything was made out of dark, heavy looking wood, walls painted a graceful beige colour.
Jihun couldn’t help the gasp that escaped as he looked around at the expensive looking home. He felt ashamed of where he came from in comparison. The cheap secondhand furniture his family owned were nothing compared to the lavish home he just walked into.
“It’s a bit much…” Mina sighed, “My father-in-law loved expensive things. He loved to show off.”
Jihun nodded, still amazed at everything around him. This was such an amazing home. He couldn’t imagine growing up with so much space and so little people around him.
She guided the pair to the living room, or sitting area, or whatever rich people called it, and told them to wait. She would make some tea so the duo could warm up after their long drive from the school.
“Your mom is nice.” Jihun whispered, looking to his Alpha.
Seungjun grinned, “She is a bit excessive… but I guess that’s why I am the way I am as well. I think Taejun will also join us for tea. I think father is still at work.” Seungjun explained, arm reaching over his mate and pulling him into his side.
Jihun couldn’t help but blush, sinking into the luscious couch and Seungjun, relaxing. He took in his mate’s scent, the smell grounding him, making him feel less nervous; as though being with Seungjun would make everything alright.
Just when had Jihun begun to think such cheesy things?
He shuddered but continued to sit and enjoy his mate’s presence when he was forced to sit up as another person rushed into the room. This one clearly not Mina, since it was a young boy, shouting something at Seungjun, tackling the Alpha off the couch.
“You’ve become weak brother!” That must have been the infamous Taejun.
Jihun had heard horror stories from Seungjun about his younger brother who had a competitive streak going, wanting to be better than his older brother at everything. He’d recently presented, a tad early, as an Alpha and wanted nothing more than to prove that he was just as good, if not better, than the elder, even though nobody ever compared the two.
“Taejun-ah!” Mina shouted, “Get off your brother! We have a guest” She walked in with a tray, expensive tea set balanced atop. Jihun didn’t even want to imagine how much the expensive white porcelain cost.
The small boy pouted and got up, looking sheepishly at the floor.
Seungjun groaned as he sat back down on the couch, making sure Jihun was alright before putting an arm around him once more.
Taejun peeked over to his brother, eyes landing on Jihun.
The Omega noticed just how similar Taejun looked to his older brother. Both were lanky and tall –Taejun still growing into his own height –and both had the same dark eyes and dark hair. Their cheek bones could cut with how sharp they looked. It was as though Jihun was looking at a smaller and younger version of his mate. Though, Taejun did have more freckles along his nose.
The youngest looked at Jihun and his eyes widened, heart hammer in his chest. The small boy had never seen someone as beautiful as Jihun. He knew, in that very moment, he met the love of his life.
“You’re beautiful!” He spouted, jumping over and squeezing himself between his brother and the Omega, eyes large, staring up at the taller Omega. He made sure to dig his boney elbow to his brothers side, creating as much distance as possible between himself and the Alpha, all eyes on the older Omega though.
Jihun chuckled, “Thanks… I’m Jihun.”
What a beautiful name. Taejun sighed, “You’re beautiful…” He repeated, completely forlorn in the Omega’s dark eyes. How come someone so beautiful was so close to his dopey older brother? This couldn’t do… nope, not at all…
Jihun had to contain his laughter. The young boy was completely and utterly enarmored with him from the moment their eyes met and Seungjun’s reaction was priceless. The Alpha spluttering in utter defeat as he tried to move his brother, but the young boy only hissed at him.
Taejun was an excellent host, pouring tea for Jihun, asking if the large pillow behind his back was fluffed enough. When Jihun stated that it could be a bit more fluffy, the young Alpha quickly worked to make it was comfortable as possible.
Jihun was drinking it in, while Seungjun pouted, glaring at his younger brother and Mina laughed into her tea.
Seungjun hadn’t said anything about a boyfriend. He hadn’t mentioned finding someone he liked. The young Alpha had never been interested in anyone before so for him to bring someone home was truly amazing.
Mina was just happy to see her son in a healthy relationship with a cute and wonderful Omega. Even though she didn’t know Jihun, only met him for about an hour, she could tell that he was a good young man who worked hard. The way he politely asked for more tea and offered to help clean. It was truly refreshing to have someone around who was from the same ‘rich’ class as them.
Mina was starting to get bored of all her book-club friends who would wrinkle their noses when someone showed up without a Chanel bag or wear Dior perfume.
“Hello family!” A large, lanky Alpha walked into the sitting room, briefcase in hand and winter coat draped over his arm. He had dark brown, almost black hair, large eyes and a smooth complexion.
His build was strong, arms buff and large, legs long and built. He exuded authority as he walked into the room, yet his dopey smile, the same one Seungjun seemed to have inherited, spoke of a kind man.
Seungjun got up, walked to his father and embraced him. It was a quick hello before Jihun was also introduced, still not as a mate, and he shook hands with the slightly scary Alpha. This was the man he had to impress. This was his mate’s father, the richest person Jihun ever met.
“Nice to meet you. I’m Park Minjun. I’m just going to go get changed and I’ll be down for dinner. It’s dinner time right?” he asked, a little aloof.
His wife rolled her eyes, “Yes… it is. So hurry up I made Seungjun’s favourite.
Taejun complained, frowning, not wanting to eat his brothers favourite food. The young Alpha wanted to show Jihun what his favourite was.
Dinner went well. Jihun wondered when Seungjun would bring up the whole ordeal to his family. Would he wait until after dinner? He kept glancing at his mate while they were eating Sundae Gukbap.
After dinner the couple excused themselves and went to Seungjun’s room.
“Just keep the door open.” Mina grinned, winking at her son as the pair brought their bags upstairs.
Jihun sighed when the pair got to Seungjun’s room. It was huge. Almost as big as the measly bungalow Jihun lived in.
Jihun walked around, taking in the large empty space. A huge beanbag catching his eye in the corner, right across from a large television with all kinds of gaming systems splayed out. He saw the huge collection of Manga in his mates’ bookshelf and the neatly organized Nintendo games as well.
The whole room just screamed Seungjun, along with the Sailor Moon body pillow and the Sailor doll on the bed. It was all a bit awkward and childish, but there was an air of maturity. The desk was neatly organized with folders and business books on the sides, everything perfectly clean.
Jihun couldn’t help but admire everything.
He smiled and sank into the large bean bag, closing his eyes and relaxing, taking in the scent of his mate.
Seungjun ignored his mother and closed the door, walking over to Jihun and getting comfortable, lying on the floor, letting the Omega run his long fingers through his hair, massaging his scalp and Seungjun rested his head on the younger boys’ thighs.
“You’re feeling okay? Not queasy or anything?” Seungjun asked.
Jihun hummed and shook his head, too relaxed to fully answer the other boy. He basked in the moment, just letting his mind drift off into nothingness as he continued to stroke Seungjuns scalp, fingers automatically scratching over the hair and skin, making the Alpha sigh in happiness as well.
“When are you going to tell them?” Jihun finally asked, sitting up to look down at the older.
Seungjun groaned and rolled over, “I don’t know… I don’t know how they’ll react.” He sighed, “I know they’ll love you. My mom already adores you and my dad seemed to really enjoy talking to you as well… but… I don’t know what they’ll think of me… I lost control that night.” He sighed and looked to his mate, eyes desperate and sad, “I was the one who messed up and forced this on you. They’ll hate me.”
Jihun frowned, “I don’t think they can…”
“I just… I’m so worried.”
Jihun got off the bean bag, rolling to wrap his lanky limbs around his Alpha, soothing him with his body, “You’ll be fine. You’ve got me by your side.”
It took four days… four whole days for Seungjun to build up the courage to tell his parents. He’d made sure that Taejun was out of the house, not wanting his younger brother, who had proclaimed his love for Jihun whenever he could, to witness his brothers downfall. That would only add to his brothers satisfaction of being the better kid.
“What is it that you need to talk to us about so urgently?” It was a day before New Years’ eve. The next evening they were supposed to go to a fancy banquet that a family friend always organized.
Seungjun groaned and looked to Jihun. The younger had never seen the Alpha like this. Sure, he’d seen him sad and upset but he seemed so… nervous.
“We have to tell you guys something…” Jihun explained, voice shaking a little as he spoke. Seungjun did not seem up to talking so the Omega figured he would have to be the one to tell them.
He’d spent the last four days bonding with Mina over tea, her whole personality matching that of literal sunshine. She was so sweet and Jihun hated to see that go. He knew they wouldn’t accept him. He just had this feeling he wasn’t good enough.
“A few weeks ago… Seungjun and I had an… altercation… an accident…?” Jihun tried to explain, not finding the right words. He wanted to be eloquent, to make it seem like it wasn’t a big deal, like their bonding hadn’t been a big fat mistake and that neither had actually, initially wanted what had happened.
Mina gasped eyes widening, “Are you alright? Why didn’t you call us Seungjun?” She gasped, looking to her son who was ashen in the face by this point, unable to say anything.
“NO…!” Jihun exclaimed, “It was…” He looked to his hands feeling them tremble, Seungjun reaching over wrapping his long fingers around his own trying to reassure Jihun and himself.
“I… I was a late bloomer… I didn’t present until a few weeks ago…” Jihun sighed, flinching at the memories of going through heat for the first time, of having the flame of desire lick at him and how Seungjun had just appeared and taken him… He shuddered, closing his eyes, “I was in the forest when I went into heat and Seungjun he smelled me and went into rut and… we both didn’t know what was happening…” Jihun tried to explain, stuttering over his words.
“We mated.” Seungjun stated, flinching at his own words, both ashamed and shaking, waiting for some reaction.
“You…? You mated?” Minjun asked sounding baffled, “You didn’t even know one another?”
Seungjun shook his head, “I was so dumb… I didn’t know what overcame me. I just… I feel so bad and so sorry towards Jihun for forcing this on him. He never wanted a mate. He never wanted this and I forced it on him.”
Jihun frowned, keeping his tears at bay, “Seungjun…” He turned to his mate, cupping his face, “We’ve talked about this. I’ve forgiven you. What happened; happened, and we cannot reverse the past.”
Seungjun frowned, curling into his Omega, head on his shoulder and he cried frame shaking, apologizing over and over once more. He knew Jihun forgave him, but it didn’t stop him from feeling terrible and useless. He was a monster. He had forced himself on the boy even though neither could control their instincts in those moments.
Mina quickly rushed over engulfing both in a tight hug, running her fingers through their hair, trying to calm the crying pair down. She rocked them from side to side, much like a mother did to a crying infant.
Finally Seungjun calmed down enough to face his parents once more, Mina kneeling in front of her son while Minjun stared at him and then looked over to Jihun.
The Omega felt a cold shiver run down his spine as he looked to the hulking Alpha form of his mate’s father. He looked so intimidating and Jihun didn’t know what he could do to try and made himself feel alright abou the whole situation.
“Jihun…” Minjun started, voice drifting off. The atmosphere in the room was frigid, everyone waiting for the head alpha to speak, “Are you alright?” He asked seriously, “This was probably a very traumatic experience for you.”
Jihun frowned, not expecting this kind of a reaction from the Alpha at all.
The Omega didn’t know how to react, what to say. He wasn’t fine. He knew that. He was going to a fricken group therapy session once a week. But he didn’t want to tell them that. So he only nodded, eyes wide as he stared at the Alpha.
“Seungjun… I’m so disappointed in you. I thought we raised you better to respect others. Jihun is a wonderful young man from what I’ve learnt these past few days but this could have ended far worse.. do you understand that?” Minjun asked, eyes heavy as he stared at his son.
“Yes father…” Seungjun mumbled, wiping his tears, “I’m sorry… I regret everything what I did… I really care for Jihun now, but it was so hard in the beginning he was having so much trouble accepting it all and I was just a terrible Alpha… I don’t deserve him.” Seungjun exclaimed.
“You probably don’t.” Minjun sighed and then looked to Jihun once more, “If you ever need anything call me or my wife. You’re now part of our family. We will be there for you no matter what.”
Jihun nodded, feeling sick to his stomach. He could tell he’d be throwing up soon, acid spit rising to his mouth. He felt dizzy at the mere idea of getting up, but he also had to leave to go and empty the contents of his stomach.
Jihun paled, all colour draining from his cheeks as he turned to his mate. Seungjun noticed the look of the Omega and shot off the couch, puling Jihun with him, almost carrying the lanky Omega to the closest bathroom.
Just in the nick of time, since Jihun threw up all over the toilet seat, missing it by half a centimeter before everything he’d eaten came back up, chunks of breakfast flying into the bathroom.
Jihun felt sweat build atop his brow, tears running down his cheeks as his stomach continued to convulse, more and more coming out. His throat raw, sobs shaking his frame.
“He’s pregnant right?” Mina asked softly, her husband behind her, an arm around her shoulder, the couple watching with concern as Jihun continued to shake and cry.
Seungjun nodded looking to Jihun, “Yes… but… Jihun made the decision to get an abortion and I completely stand by his decision.” He stated firmly, looking to his family.
Mina nodded, understanding how frightening being pregnant could be. Jihun was so young. He’d just presented. He wasn’t ready for a child. Seungjun neither, both boys still children themselves.
“We will take care of all the financials. I’ll find the best private clinic to get you the best care.” Minjun stated nodding as well in recognition.
***
Jihun was supported by so many. He was encouraged to follow his ideals and to make decisions and yet here he was, in the back of a car, crying and holding onto his flat stomach, mourning the loss of a life he hadn’t even killed yet. He felt so stupid, but the worst was the fear.
He was afraid. He was scared he’d never be able to have kids again after this. He knew it was pretty far-fetched but it could happen. Jihun was afraid that deep down Seungjun would resent him for this and he would lose his mate to his selfish decisions. But the Alpha was just always smiling, running his large hands over Jihun and telling him he supported him.
“We’re here…” Youjin whispered quietly, getting out of the car, leaving Jihun and Seungjun alone, hoping the younger Alpha would be able to coax his brother from the car.
It hurt Youjin to see his brother like this, so broken and sad. He knew the other was overthinking the whole situation, but he wasn’t blaming him. He knew this must have been a hard decision. Jihun never wanted kids, hell he never wanted to mate, and yet here he was, crying over an unborn child from an accidental mating.
“Jihun… Jihun-a…” Seungjun whispered, leaning over to the back, his hand reaching towards the other who seemed to panic the longer they were in the car.
A single touch on the Omega’s knee and everything seemed to snap into place. Jihun looked up at the Alpha, and Seungjun could tell just how afraid the younger was. This was such a big decision, everything just coming down on him, even though they’d had the appointment for weeks.
“You’ll be fine.” Seungjun whispered, his voice solid, something Jihun could hold onto almost. So sure, so confident, as though Seungjun trusted each and every decision the Omega had ever made. It was as though the younger could do no wrong in the older boys’ eyes.
“Really…?” Jihun gasped, wiping at his eyes, “You’ll not resent me?” He finally had the courage to ask, staring down the Alpha, trying to find any waver in his eyes.
“Never.” Seungjun stated, completely steady. He would never resent the Omega for this decision. It was his body. It was his life that would be more impacted than his. Jihun was still in highschool, he was so young and Seungjun had found out just how childish the usual stern teen was at times. How he liked to laugh and dance and act dumb around Heejun and Inseong. He couldn’t take this youth from him by forcing him to parent a child neither had planned for. It wasn’t fair to Jihun, it wasn’t fair to Seungjun, but most of all it wasn’t fair to the child.
“I’ll support you no matter what. It’s hard to believe but I am so proud of you for making this decision. You’re acting like a grown up. I don’t know if many other kids our age would be brave enough to do this.” Seungjun explained, “I’ll be there for you every single step of the way.”
Jihun sniffled and jumped forward, wrapping his arms around Seungjun, crying into the crook of his neck, unable to hold in just how touched he was that the other would support him so much. He would have expected the Alpha to be mad at him for this, even if Seungjun had been one hundred percent understanding thus far.
Jihun still felt his heart race. He could tell that he wasn’t feeling up to this ordeal. But they’d made the appointment. They’d done their research. He’d even gone to see the specialist at the clinic along with Seungjun not too long ago to get reassured that what he was doing wouldn’t harm his body.
He knew the risks were minimal, this was something the employees did day-in and day-out. Jihun was still freaking out though.
“You’ll hold my hand right?” He asked, voice shaking and quiet as large dark eyes stared at the Alpha holding onto him, “You’ll be there?”
How many times had he asked the same questions over and over? How many times had Seungjun so patiently answered them? Too many to count. Jihun was so thankful that the other didn’t resent him and was just there for Jihun, letting him make the best decisions for his body and his future.
Finally the two made it out of the car and walked, hand in hand, towards the large building. They knew where to go. They’d been there before and the process had been explained to them. They made their way to the reception, got the paperwork done and then Jihun was taken to the Operation room.
The Omega was shaking. Seungjun wasn’t allowed into the room during the operation, only before and after. It was clinic policy just in case the Alpha gets protective over the unborn fetus. It had happened before and they wanted to avoid any situation which could cause more harm to the Omega.
Jihun was dressed in an unflattering hospital gown, lying on a bed, waiting for his turn. Seungjun was with him, hand gripping tightly onto that of his mate, both young boys with tears in their eyes as they tried to calm one another down. This was a scary moment. A necessary moment, but still scary for the two.
“We will be fine.” Seungjun smiled, “You’re so strong and you’ve got your family and mine supporting you.”
Jihun nodded, throat feeling dry. He couldn’t talk. Couldn’t get himself to open his mouth. This was what he wanted. He knew he wasn’t ready. He had been so afraid fo this baby, this thing growing within him, and now it was so difficult to let go of it.
He sighed, closing his eyes, hoping that if he didn’t see the light blue hospital walls all would be fine. He tried to calm his heart and just take in the presence of his mate, but he was still nervous. He knew he’d be nervous for a while, that this situation was difficult.
All too soon a nurse came in, telling him they’d be ready to take him in to the surgery.
Jihun shot up, off his seat, launching himself at his Alpha once more. He wrapped his long arms around the older boys’ neck, pulling him in for a salty, tear filled kiss, “Seungjun… thank you.”
Seungjun smiled, “I’ll be right here when you come back.” He wiped a tear, “You’re so strong Jihun. I’m so proud.”
Jihun sighed and nodded, hands moving to his flat stomach as the bed got moved out of the patient room. He caught sight of his Alpha one last time before exiting and mouthed the words ‘I love you’ to him, something he rarely said, but in that moment, that very moment where the Alpha had complete trust and belief in Jihun, he felt so much love for Seungjun, that he had to let him know.
Jihun was still worried, wondering if this was the right choice as the nurse pushed his bed to the operating room. He wondered once more, but Seungjun was trusting him to make the right decision for their future together. He believed that Jihun, even though he was younger, knew what he needed himself, and with that trust and belief Jihun was finally able to take a deep breath and forget his anxiety.
It was a hard decision, it was a hard process, but with the love and help of his friends and Alpha, Jihun knew he would get through it and with time he would be one hundred percent sure that this had been the right decision to make.
