“Not now, kitten. Daddy’s busy.”
Genji whines, but it’s weak, like he had expected that answer anyway. The lack of a tantrum is a little suspicious, but Jack’s too engrossed in what he’s reading to give Genji the attention he’s looking for.
“Well… can I watch something while you work?”
That gets Jack to look up at him. Genji’s not the type to be satisfied with just being near people, like Jesse or Gabe can be sometimes. Genji needs to feel people up against his skin and needs to know their attention is on him fully or he’ll die.
That’s how he acts sometimes, anyway.
“Sure, that’s fine, baby,” Jack finally manages to reply. He focuses back on his laptop, trying to find where he had left off on the article while Genji situates himself against his side with his own laptop. Jack’s nearly forgotten Genji’s there up until a load moan startles him out of focus again. When he looks up, there’s some little twink straddling the lap of a guy twice his size, grinding down on his lap in high definition on their stupidly big television.
Genji’s looking up at him with that look, the laptop in his lap set to mirror its screen onto the TV. Jack lets out a sound of disbelief that’s not quite a laugh. “Does Jesse know you have his laptop?” he asks, recognizing the computer from the few times he’s caught Jesse jerking it alone with the same computer sitting on the bed next to him.
Genji ignores the question, instead fluttering his eyelashes in a poor imitation of innocence. “Oh, sorry Daddy, is this too noisy?”
After letting the situation process for a second, Jack reached over, paused the video, and gently set it to the side off of Genji’s lap.
“You’re going to go get my impact playbag, and I’m not going to stop hitting you until I think you’re being louder than that video. Understood?”
As Genji rushes up the stairs with an enthusiastic “Yes, Daddy!!”, Jack looks through the videos downloaded onto the laptop to see what might be louder for them to compete with. And maybe he can embarrass Jesse later about his taste in porn, too.
