Summary
This fic is the sequel to “The Price of Iridescent Wings”: There, Zishu wakes up alone and back in his rooms in Tian Chuang after he and Kexing attempted to practice the Combined Six Cultivation Method.
Not knowing what’s going on, he ventures outside and quickly realizes that this must be the past. Which, of course, is quite the shock. Zishu escapes the clutches of his cousin together with Han Ying and, wanting his zhiji back as well as wanting to learn what the hell just happened, he travels to Ghost Valley as fast as he can.
There, he tries to gain back the trust of a Valley Master who doesn’t seem to recognize him, yet is drawn to Zishu all the same.
In “Give Your Tears to the Tide”, Zishu and Kexing have to face a chaotic world that refuses to behave quite as predicted, and Zishu has to learn again that time travel has consequences.
Once more, time is not on their side as they try to counter fate and outrun death, but Zishu stays determined to save his ragtag family.
Kexing certainly won’t back down from the challenge, either: He’s hell-bent on surviving—not only for his A-Xu’s sake, but also to deal a certain Old Monster a beating that is long since overdue.Series

Summary
After placing the first of seven nails into his body, Zhou Zishu's plan is unfortunatly discovered by Prince Jin. Running from suffocating captivity, there is nowhere else in the world to hide but the notorious Ghost Valley. Memories of Siji Manor and much of his past washed away by Meng Po soup, Zhou Zishu cheerfully carves out a new place for himself and draws the attention of the vicious Valley Master while he does it.

Summary
All in all, he wasn’t all that surprised about the ghost. Maybe he could’ve put a little effort into feeling shocked or afraid, but Zhou Zishu was too old and too tired to bother with something like that. He didn’t have any particular opinion on the existence of ghosts in the past, except that if there was such a thing, Zhou Zishu would be the first to know. Why would the universe wait until the afterlife to torture him for his sins, when it could start now?
He always expected to be haunted by his actions. He just didn’t predict it would be quite so literal.
OR; Zhou Zishu moves to an old, rotting house in the middle of nowhere to retire peacefully. He gets harassed by an annoying ghost roommate and a violent feral cat instead, and doesn't hate it half as much as he should.

Summary
