It seemed like every time Park Jimin was close to getting what he had worked so hard for, the new transfer student Kim Namjoon was going to be there to sweep in and steal it away. First, there had been the swim team captain position. And then, when summer finally rolled around, there was the head lifeguard job at the public pool where Jimin had worked for years. Jimin wasn’t sure what exactly Namjoon had against him or why he was trying to take everything away from him. But what he did know was that he wasn’t going to fall for the cute puppy dog act Namjoon was putting on for all of their friends.
