An enraged mob crucified the Pope. The new Pope, to save his own skin, eagerly led the way to blow up the tombs of all previous popes. People from all over the world, carrying crosses on their shoulders, flooded into Rome. Amid the bickering over 'who gets to judge the pedophile priests first,' the revolution turned into an absurd refugee camp.

Miguel O'Hara, boy prodigy who seems to have used his intellect for the wrong reasons. His father decides he is good enough to be dragged into a competitive boarding school in North Salem, Westchester County.
He meets a group of eccentric geniuses, and snot-nosed kids with money filling their pockets to the brim. The bright side is that 'crazy' girl who he finds more than just a friend.
Add that with Mr. Stone breathing on his neck.
Mixed with student-body politics, future corporate bootlickers, and kids cannonballing themselves into the skies in means of entertainment, this was going to be a long four years.
TL;DR: This is a remake of the Young Miguel O'Hara storyline.
