“I know.” Killer stepped back as his wrist was caught, held in the air as he tightened his grip around the knife.
Dream hummed in puzzlement.
“Then why try?” He asked, craning his head to the side as Killer attempted to push himself away from Dream’s relentless grip, failing as he did so.
Unexpectedly, Killer moved forward, until their bodies were almost touching each other. He leaned his head towards Dream’s ear.
“Because it’s addicting.”

Again. And again. Cross continued to press no further than what felt like mere millimeters into him. He wasn’t even breaching the folds of his inner lips at this point! If anything it felt like he was growing more and more shallow as time went on- if that was even possible at this point. Was he really that intent on making him beg? No way.
Killer squirmed once more, arching his back to press into Cross in a silent plea, desperate for more. The action usually spurred the soldier on yet he was doing everything but the norm this time around. He groaned into his fist, biting into the fabric of his fingerless gloves when it brought nothing more than Cross’s pulling away and backing off for the umpteenth time.
It wasn’t uncommon for Killer to tease the group’s easiest member: grinding on him in the common area, just-so-happening to be nude every time Cross came to his room, whispering sweet nothings into the side of his skull while casually tracing the outline of his bulge, all while Cross begged every deity imaginable to please- please- let him focus on whatever task he was supposed to be doing. For Killer it was a fun little game. For Cross it was hell, and what Killer did next was just crossing the line.

The purr of a word drifted in the air between them as his book was moved aside, slipping his thumb from between the closing pages and setting it on the table. The smirk that danced across Nightmare’s mouth hinted at something more, that single cyan eyelight lifting back up to meet his own before locking onto him. Cross fought the urge to swallow.
Did Nightmare have something planned? Did he have a specific request in mind? Why not voice that instead? The soldier’s browbones furrowed in thought as his gaze turned away and down. The rug had a few different stains on it. The intricate pattern was dirtied by overspilling oils and liquid ichor: dripping excretes from both Killer and Nightmare.
“Anything.” He repeated it quietly to himself as he stared, his mind wandering as he began to lose himself in thought. His brow furrowed again. This time it was more, now, in imagining possibilities than an attempt at understanding. And then his brow smoothed over. And he knew what he wanted.
