Danvers Inc. and LuthorCorp issued a joint statement Friday morning confirming the engagement of Kara Danvers, 27, CEO of Danvers Inc., and Lena Luthor, 26, CTO of LuthorCorp and founder of L-Tech. The statement was fourteen lines long. It confirmed the speculations of several media outlets and mentioned continuation of the Meridian project under the newly unified executive partnership. It did not confirm how long the relationship had been ongoing, where the proposal took place, or which of them proposed. It did not need to. By eleven AM, Meridian shares had risen 11%. By noon, #KarLena was trending in twenty-two countries. By close of trading, three investment banks had upgraded their Meridian price targets. The couple took to their socials with a collaborative post with a single photo of both heirs beaming at the camera, Lena Luthor showcasing her hand with a big emerald and diamond ring at the camera. "The rumors are true" , the caption said. Besides this, They did not give interviews or released separate statements, They just let the world do the rest.
