After years on Erid starved of human touch Rocky and Adrian design models for themselves to connect and interact with Grace as humans. It was a perfect solution, but when Grace and Rocky’s human body disappear it becomes a race against time to bring Grace home safely.
OR: An Eridian cult leader kidnaps Grace and uses Rocky’s human body to abuse and break Ryland a little bit at a time. All the while Rocky and Adrian scramble to track him down before irreparable damage is done.
Science runs on vibes here! We love academia in this house, but we don’t read fics for scientific accuracy!

You ever see a fly endlessly bumping against a window so you open the window to let it out instead of just getting the swatter like usual. And it's all just on a whim?
So, anyway, Simon somehow finds himself floating in space after screaming at a giant eye in an endless red void.
Grace and Rocky are on the way to Erid when they come across an iron submarine with a dead eel monster hanging off the end.
Simon gets to heal, Grace gets to interact with another human again, and Rocky gets to watch the incredibly awkward courtship rituals of these two disasters (affectionate).

Clones of a single magical girl, the Kaedekin have spent the last several hundred years building up from a single crashed ship and three thousand survivors into a planet-spanning civilization. The life native to the planet is inedible, the heavy metal content of everything makes everything very complicated, the perpetual darkness blocking out the visible light of the nearby star makes everything very complicated, and the random kaiju created by the mutagenic void energies coming from certain spots on the planet make everything very... you get the idea.
