Clinton held up the Republican tabloids, trying to mask the desperate look on his face.
Hillary glanced at the bold "LES" printed next to her photo on the cover, smiled, and headed up the stairs. Huma followed behind, raising her hand as if fixing her hair—covering the smile that was almost splitting her face.
