Summary
Androids have become a normal part of human society throughout the ten years that they've been around; so much so that different models are sold for a specific task. Need help picking up around the house? Try the helper android! Need something to help you feel safer? The security model has just the thing! What about times when you find yourself struggling with mental health? Look no further than the emotional support android!
Almost countless different models are made- all with unique coding to better serve their purpose and fulfill the commands given to them.
Their ability to constantly make improvements in their programming also helps them to best match their owner and make them seem more human (as to make others more comfortable around them).
But, with difference, comes mistreatment.
Older models are often found in garbage cans or left on the sides of the road; abuse towards androids is justified because they have no emotions or feel no pain, and, if there are any suspicions of an android becoming "too sentient", they are immediately scrapped.
But, is it so silly to treat them kindly?
