I'm a middle aged woman from New Zealand. I love reading and enjoyed creative writing at school. I also love tv and remember with fond memories my favorite programmes such as Emergency 51, The Professionals, CHiPs and Starsky and Hutch to name just a few. Yes I admit it, I was a tv addict. I'm amazed my eyes weren't square.
Nowadays the tv is just a noise in the background, while I'm reading fanfiction. To say that discovering fanfiction just after going through the loss of my dearly loved mother was a godsend would be an understatement. It helped me to get through many a dark and grieving hour.
I discovered amazing stories that opened my imagination to the world of Emergency and then the Professionals as seen through fellow fans eyes. Initially I thought I would never write as the talent in some stories was phenomenal and worthy of being published and being in bookshops ( one of my favorite hangouts.) After reading these wonderful stories for a couple of years I sat down one day and wrote a couple of stories just for fun. Now I've a few stories under my belt with the help of my wonderful beta. Thank you little possum. Without you my stories wouldn't be anywhere near as polished and full bodied like a good bottle of Wolf Blass grey label. (For anyone connected to that winery I am open to wine donations for free advertising.)
I am into my third decade as a nurse and therefore I do like a good Johnny owie story but I like to hide the illness in plain sight as I love a good medical mystery - a bit like the tv series House ( another favorite).
My pseudo is a way of giving thanks to all the wonderful writers out there that helped me through a sad time in my life. My stories are a return gift to them and to all other fan fiction lovers that keep the realm alive and well.
One final thing, I'm not into rude or nasty reviews with or without your name. Its just fiction so go with the flow and enjoy them or not, it's up to you.
