Chapter Text
"You're really buying a hybrid?!" (F/N) squealed. I smiled at her excitement.
"Yep! I've saved enough money and I have my apartment approved. Now I just need to find the right one."
"Awesome! I bet he or she will be adorable! Call me when I can see him or her, OK? I don't want to spook him or her," (F/N) grinned.
"Of course!" I waved as we walked away from each other. I took a deep breath and headed towards the hybrid shop. Once I entered, the handsome man I had met with a few times before greeted me.
"Ah, hello (Y/N)! Come to pick out a hybrid?" Seokjin smiled warmly. I nodded, now feeling nervous. As if sensing this, Seokjin laughed. "There's no reason to be nervous, they're all quite friendly."
"Alright. I'm ready," I looked at him with determimation.
"That's the spirit! Taehyung will help you, he's more accustomed to the hybrids than I am," Seokjin led me into the hall and opened a plain navy blue door. "He should be in there."
I stepped into the room and tensed when I heard the door shut behind me. It was an office, with a white door in the corner that had a small rainbow with a smile painted on it. The office had a desk with a sea of papers on it, along with a computer. The room was filled with boxes and hybrid supplies. The white door opened and another handsome man stepped inside.
"Oh! Are you (L/N) (Y/N)?" the man grinned. He had such a unique smile, it was rectangular in shape and didn't look at all forced like other smiles shaped like that.
"Yes! That's me, nice to meet you!"
"Wonderful! I'm Kim Taehyung, nice to meet you too! If you'll follow me, all the hybrids are through this door!" Taehyung smiled as he grabbed a clipboard and pen, opening the white door for me.
"Oh! Thank you very much," I smiled as I went through the doorway.
"No problem," Taehyung said as the door clicked shut behind us. I gaped at the sight before me. It was like a paradise for hybrids in here! Hammocks hung to my right and little cubbies labeled with names stood a little next to them. There was a jungle gym of sorts, and some kind of playground along with couches, a TV, two dinner tables, and what seemed like a craft corner of sorts. Actually, it's like a paradise for toddlers, but the hybrids seemed to love it.
"TaeTae-hyung!" A cat hybrid rose from his position on the couch next to another cat hybrid and and eagerly sped towards the male.
"Wrennyn!" Taehyung grinned and hugged the taller male. Like holy shit he's tall.
"Hyung~ You left me and Yoongi-hyung," a rabbit hybrid with big, soft-looking, floppy black ears whined as he hugged the tall cat hybrid from behind.
"Yah! The minute you left my lap was cold again! I want to be warm again," another cat hybrid, the one Wrennyn previously sat next to, trudged shortly behind the rabbit hybrid and embraced the rabbit hybrid.
"Awe, so cute," I murmured as I smiled at the scene before me. The tallest male's eyes opened and focused on me. I awed at their color, they reminded me of a sunlit forest, full of greenery and life.
"Hi! I'm Wrennyn, what's your name?" He asked as the hug train disassembled.
"(L/N) (Y/N)," I answered.
"Oh! Seokjinnie-hyung talked about you!" The rabbit hybrid's eyes sparkled as he grinned at me. "I'm sorry, my name is Jungkook!"
"The shorty is Yoongi!" Wrennyn and Jungkook said in unison, pointing at the cat hybrid before giggling as running away.
"You little shits! Respect your elders!" Yoongi growled as he sped after them.
"They're lively," I commented, watching them with a fond smile.
"Wrennyn has been returned 25 times, Jungkook 23, and Yoongi 28," Taehyung suddenly blurted out. I whirled around with wide eyes.
"Bwa--why?" I asked, shocked. Taehyung watched the three hybrids with sad eyes.
"They have to be sold together, to the same caretaker. The people who bought them didn't listen and only took one of them. Ultimately, the caretakers always returned them."
"Why do they have to be sold together?" I wondered.
"They're mates. They grew up on the streets together, fought against stray hybrids together, healed each other physically and emotionally, and there's not a force in the world that could keep them apart it seems," Taehyung commented as he watched Yoongi catch Jungkook and Wrennyn.
"That's..." I trailed off. As I watched the three, I made up my mind. "I'll adopt all three."
"Really?!" Taehyung asked in disbelief, but a huge grin beginning to make its way onto his face.
"I'm positive," I smiled. Taehyung grinned and began rapidly writing on the papers attached to his clipboard.
"Here, look over their profiles first." Taehyung handed me three sheets of paper.

The trio marvelled at their collars as they sat on the couch. They each picked out their own and an ornament or two to go on it.
"Is your room alright? I'll get a larger bed, I didn't plan on adopting three wonderful hybrids like you, so I'll make sure to buy you a larger bed and-"
"It's perfect, (Y/N)! I'm so grateful to you," Jungkook stopped admiring the collar around his neck to look at me and smile. I stopped my rambling and offered an awkward grin in return
"We seriously can't thank you enough," Wrennyn tore his eyes away from the bell on his collar to look uo at me.
"I almost lost faith in humanity until I met you. I hope you don't become a moron like the majority of the human race," Yoongi looked me straight in the eye. I rapidly nodded as Yoongo gave me a once-over and returned to fiddling with his collar.
"Ah, my friend wants to meet you guys. Is it alright if I invite her over?" I asked. I received a positive answer so I dialed (F/N) and she said she would be over faster than Agust D could rap.
"Iron Man!" I heard a gleeful voice cheer. "Hyung, can we watch Iron Man, pleeaassseee?~"
"I'm fine with it. It's (Y/N) you have to ask," I heard Yoongi answered.
"(Y/-"
"It's fine with me, Jungkook!" I shouted. I heard a 'yesss' and the sound of the commercials turning on a few minutes later. A series of knocks sounded at my door and I walked to the door and swung it open to reveal (F/N).
"Heyo! Where's the cutie?" (F/N) asked as she brushed past me and began looking around.
"Please, come in," I rolled my eyes, closing the door. "And its cuties...plural."
"Wha-" I led (F/N) to the living room where Jungkook had his wide eyes fixated on the movie. Yoongi was burritoed in a blanket and Wrennyn had his knees to his chest with a sketchbook resting in between. He kept looking back and forth between it and Jungkook, seemingly drawing the rabbit hybrid. "Awe!! THEY'RE SO DAMN CUTE!!" (F/N) jumped up and down.
"Go away human, I want sleep," Yoongi muttered as he buried himself further into his burrito. Jungkook seemed to not hear her, I have no idea how, and continued to stare at the screen. Wrennyn offered a small smile and a little wave before going back to concentrating on drawing.
"I'll come back later. I just remembered I have to-OH SHIT I HAVE TO WORK!!" And just like that the Wild (F/N) disappeared. I shook my head and sat on the loveseat and watched the hybrids with a content smile.
"I'm glad," I yawned. "I'm glad you like it here." I slipped into unconsciousness.
