Vacation with a Vampire

Summary:

' "What… are you wearing?" he asked.

Shouto looked down at himself. "Ochako said this was fitting for a tourist. It's called a 'Hawaiian shirt'."

The vampire stood, pale and pretty as ever, in an oversized button-down shirt covered in lurid, brightly colored flowers. His khaki shorts clashed rather oddly with the tall pair of black boots he still wore, and Shouto glanced down at those, too, before reassuring Katsuki,

"Don't worry, I've packed sandals in my suitcase." '

Work Text:

Scarcely a year had passed since Katsuki had first come to the vampire's castle when he emerged one morning into the grand sitting room, his footfalls dulled by the velvety carpet, to find a little brown-haired witch there, having tea with his mate.

He didn't growl—because Shouto would have made fun of him for it later, probably called him monstrous (despite both their shared nature as monsters); and besides, he sensed nothing amiss in the arrangement before him. The two of them were sat side by side on one of the ornate red sofas, studying something laid out on the table in front of them, pointing and murmuring among themselves. Katsuki approached until he was standing nearly behind them, and cleared his throat.

The witch muffled a shriek of surprise, her teacup rattling on the saucer. Shouto, meanwhile, didn't miss a beat.

"Good morning, darling," said the vampire.

Katsuki blinked. Darling? Shouto had never so much as used such a sickly sweet term of endearment for him in the whole year they'd known each other. He much preferred to call Katsuki wolf, or occasionally just beast.

"Morning," Katsuki said, deciding to overlook the strangeness of the moment (for the time being). "Who're you?"

The question he directed at the witch, who seemed to have recovered from her shock. She waved exuberantly at him, her round face lifted in a smile. "You're Katsuki, right? I'm Ochako! Shouto asked me to be your travel guide!"

"Our… what?" Katsuki asked blankly. On the couch, Shouto and Ochako began talking back and forth again.

"Todoroki! You didn't tell me he was so handsome."

"He can be quite charming when he's not snarling about something or other, yes."

"But I bet you like him when he's snarling, too…"

"I'm standing right here," Katsuki snarled, and Ochako giggled.

Shouto smiled at him. "Yes—so come sit next to me instead."

Feeling rather miffed at the way Shouto was acting, but also more than slightly curious, Katsuki obliged. Upon seating himself on Shouto's other side, he was finally able to see what the two of them had been poring over.

"Travel brochures?" he asked, picking one off the table. On it was pictured a peaceful green mountain vista, mirrored in a tranquil lake. Katsuki held it gingerly between his thumb and forefinger, bringing it right up to his face to stare closely at it.

"Yes," Ochako said, gathering up a few more to pass over to him. "From what Shouto's been telling me, it sounds like you need to get away!"

Katsuki raised an eyebrow. "And what has he been telling you, witch?"

Ochako shook her head. "Just how long it's been! Over a year, and still no honeym—"

"Ah, we—we talk often," Shouto said, interrupting loudly, "of how cold it gets in the winter time."

Katsuki stared at him for a moment too long, before nodding. "It's cold all the damn time." He looked at a pamphlet filled with snowy vistas and cozy cabin lodging, before tossing it over his shoulder. Ochako raised her staff and it fluttered to a halt in midair, before floating slowly back towards her. "No snow."

"Got it!" she said, with a determined nod. "I think I know just the place…"

*

Not two weeks later, there they were—standing outside the small airport of a lush tropical island, a haven of palm trees, sandy beaches, and tourism.

It was evening, the sky a deep purple darkening to blue-black. The sun was too low below the horizon to pose Shouto any trouble, though Ochako had cast some protective spells on him to make sure he didn't experience more than a headache from the glare during their trip. All the same, Katsuki had spent most of the airplane trip over growling menacingly at anyone seated near them who tried to raise the window shades up while the sun was shining. Unsurprisingly, none of the mortals seemed to want to cross him. Most of them seemed wary of Shouto, too, despite how quiet he was. In his all black ensemble—high necked trenchcoat, scarf wrapped around the lower half of his face, small round sunglasses, and wide brimmed hat pulled low—he did look fairly intimidating. Katsuki had heard a group of children referring to him as a "goth," whatever that was.

It had been decades since Katsuki had set foot outside the bounds of the vast enchanted forest they called home, and possibly centuries since Shouto had left the woods as well. Air travel, when Katsuki had last caught wind of the marvel of flight, had been in its infancy. Compared to back then, things were all very sleek and streamlined now. He didn't really want to admit that he'd been anxious, but he was very glad Ochako had been so thorough in explaining to them the ins and outs of traveling among mortals. The excitable witch had been very eager to help them with everything, big doe eyes often growing fond and sparkly as she talked about how she wanted it to be absolutely perfect, and how lucky they were to have each other. It all started to make Katsuki feel fairly antsy before too long, but in the end, she'd done her job perfectly. Now their vacation had begun in earnest.

"It's stifling," Katsuki complained, flapping the collar of his shirt to try and get a little breeze on his skin.

In comparison to where they hailed from, the island was practically boiling. They'd left the snow and frigid winds behind for the first time in so long, and though he wasn't particularly fond of the cold, he was used to it. Here the heat settled upon him like a blanket, his sweat beading on his skin—he was going to soak through his shirt in no time.

"It is," Shouto agreed. "I forgot how warm places could be, really. Here, hold this, would you?"

Katsuki turned just in time to receive a face full of trenchcoat as Shouto sloughed off his outerwear. Katsuki stared at him, stunned.

"What… are you wearing?" he asked.

"Don't worry, I've packed sandals in my suitcase."

Katsuki couldn't help it. He burst out laughing.

"What?" Shouto asked. "What?"

"You are," Katsuki said, practically howling—people were beginning to stare, "completely ridiculous. I've never seen you look this undignified."

"I'm not trying to look dignified," Shouto said blandly. "I'm on vacation."

"So you are, vamp," Katsuki said, feeling that customary swell of fondness in his chest. "I guess that means we'd better figure out where we're staying."

This turned out to be easier said than done. Ochako had explained that they would need to find a taxi—some kind of car service with a driver willing to take them wherever they wanted to go. But of the first several cars Shouto tried, most of their drivers ranged from confused to downright alarmed when he kept attempting to stop them to enter their vehicle. It finally took one kindly local man having pity on them to sort them out.

"We want to go here," Shouto told him, showing him the picture of the resort Ochako had given them.

"Oh, sure, I know the place," the man said, rubbing at his chin. Katsuki had a hard time understanding the locals' language, and was leaving the talking to Shouto. "Fancy place! Do you and your husband need directions?"

Katsuki tilted his head. If he recalled correctly, a husband was like a mate, for mortals.

"My—oh," Shouto said. "Yes. We do. We can pay you."

"You don't have to do all that! Just let me see your phone," the man said. "Do you have Google Maps on there?"

Shouto looked at Katsuki. Katsuki shrugged. Shouto turned back to the man. "What… is a Google?"

Eventually, the man was able to help them find an actual taxi and explain to the driver where they wanted to go. The ride was quick—much quicker than either of them expected. On the airplane, it had been difficult to gauge their speed. In the back of a moving vehicle, it was much easier, and more enjoyable.

"Katsuki," Shouto said, "don't do that, you're going to get your head knocked off."

"No, I won't!" Katsuki yelled back. He had figured out how to roll down the moving windows, and had stuck his whole head outside the car as it sped along. The wind in his hair, all the smells and sounds of this humid, foreign place—he'd never experienced anything quite like it. "You should try this! It's incredible!"

"Watching you is incredible enough," Shouto said. He sounded amused; Katsuki couldn't tell if it was because he was teasing, or genuinely having fun just observing.

"We're here already?" The edge of a whine crept into Katsuki's voice when their taxi stopped outside a lavish yet intimate looking cluster of buildings.

"Look at you," Shouto said, coming around the side of the car. He gave Katsuki that nearly secret, almost-smile that was unique to him, and him alone, reaching up to run his hands through Katsuki's hair. His fingers snagged in the strands, and Katsuki winced, putting his hand up to touch the spikes—they certainly felt more wild than usual. "We should take more taxis, if you enjoy it that much."

Something about the way Shouto was looking at him made Katsuki feel like he was being given a special treat. He nodded, a little too eagerly. He always liked it especially when Shouto wanted to do things to please him.

Trying to figure out how to gain access to their room was their next challenge. Again, Shouto was the one to do most of the talking at the concierge, while Katsuki waited with their bags. He tried several times to find someone to help them with their luggage, to no avail. People kept freezing up when he tried to talk to them, staring at him transfixed before finally excusing themselves and bolting away like frightened rabbits.

"Do the mortals not understand me?" he asked in frustration as Shouto returned, room keys in hand. "I said—I NEED SOMEONE TO CARRY MY SUITCASE."

"I don't think yelling makes you easier to understand," Shouto told him. "Also, none of those people you were growling at seem to be part of the hotel staff, darling."

This information was punctuated by a porter hurrying along to grab their things and help show them to their room. Katsuki, meanwhile, was too distracted by what Shouto had said to pay much attention to it.

"Why do you keep calling me that?" he asked.

"Calling you what?"

"D—" Katsuki swallowed. "Dar… ling."

"Oh," Shouto said, "oh, well—that's… why don't we get to our rooms, hm?"

He turned and followed after the porter, walking faster, a bit less graceful than usual. Katsuki frowned. Shouto was always graceful, even when he was acting like the most awkward fucking vampire on the face of the earth. For him to be so flustered must mean there really was something going on. Then the question was, would he have to wait it out? Or would Shouto tell him?

Their room turned out to be a picturesque little bungalow right on the sand of a semi-private beach. It was properly nighttime now, but the scenery was no less stunning. The palm trees along the sand were lined with little bright bulbs in all colors, and the lights from many of the beachfront tourist locales spilled out onto the sand to create a lively atmosphere, rowdy bars and flaring bonfires that begged to be explored. And the moon, though not full (that would have been slightly too risky), was bright in the sky above them, white and shining on the ocean waves.

"Do you like it?" Shouto murmured, slipping up behind Katsuki almost unseen as Katsuki shrugged out of his sweaty shirt into a black undershirt.

"The room?" Katsuki asked.

"Everything." Cool hands stole under the hem of his tank top, sneaking up his stomach.

"We've only just got here," Katsuki pointed out, tilting his head to look. Shouto peered at him from under his silky hair, eyes wide and hopeful.

Katsuki turned and pulled him closer. They had been surrounded by people, stuck in crowds all day—maddening, when compared to their usual routine of being utterly alone, besides one another. It had been a very long time since Katsuki had had to contend with other people, even before Shouto. Now, still, Shouto was the only one he could abide for any length of time.

He kissed his vampire. Shouto made a soft little sound, not of surprise; contentment, maybe, still with the hint of a question. The tail end of… unsurety? Perhaps.

Shouto's hands curled into the front of his shirt, and Katsuki nipped softly at his lip, much less sharply than he usually would.

"It's good," he murmured. "Being here with you, I mean."

Shouto pressed his face to Katsuki's neck, lips tracing familiar shapes over his skin, nudging against the red collar Katsuki still wore. Katsuki shivered, and wondered: now? But not quite, it seemed… perhaps Shouto wasn't that hungry, yet.

"Maybe we should go see a little bit more of the beach," Shouto said thoughtfully. "So we can develop more informed opinions."

With a huff of laughter, Katsuki slung an arm around his shoulders. "Lead the way."

They decided to walk along the beach to see what there was to explore (Katsuki barefoot, Shouto in his sandals, as promised). When mortals knew how to cook, they could really cook, Katsuki decided, shoveling away the first of many delicious morsels he would eat on that trip. Currently, his favorite was a thing the humans called a taco. He particularly wanted to try the food called hamburger next, as he was very fond of ham.

They finally stopped at a little cabana beach bar, little more than a hut with a thatched roof that seemed immensely popular with tourists and locals alike. It was run by a human man with dark hair and big green eyes that kept straying to stare at Katsuki or Shouto; they made it a rather mischievous game between the two of them to see who could make him blush harder with just flashes of the pointed teeth in their smiles, or the lingering heat of their immortal gazes, that no human could long endure.

"Don't make him too keen on you, now," Katsuki drawled at the barkeep, his tongue a little heavy with the strong, spiced beverages they kept ordering. "Would be cruel of you to steal 'im away on our honeymoon."

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Shouto's head turn sharply towards him, but he only smiled deviously at their bartender. The man bit his lip, red-cheeked and shook his head.

"S-sorry," he stammered, "I didn't quite catch—I, um, I couldn't understand—"

"S'fine," Katsuki said, ruffling his hair. "We'll be goin' now, I think."

He set out a generous amount of money and waved off the man's protests that it was too much, before curling a possessive arm around Shouto's waist. The two of them began wandering back the direction they'd come. Katsuki inhaled deeply of the cooling breeze, the faint hint of salt on the air.

"Nobody on this damn island understands a word I'm saying," he grumbled. Shouto let out a soft laugh and Katsuki smiled slyly at him. "Though, I think you understand me very well. Isn't that right… darling?"

Shouto looked away from him, out at the water. "Perhaps."

"What's that all been about, then?"

"I'm… not sure," Shouto admitted, finally. "Isn't it just—something people do? To be ro—romantic…?"

Katsuki snorted. "Maybe. Not really something you do, though, so what the hell's gotten into you?"

Shouto leaned into him, almost too slight to be noticed. "What you said back there…"

"The witch, when she came to the castle," Katsuki interjected. "You told her that we were going on our honeymoon, right?"

"Yes…"

Katsuki rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "That's a mortal thing. For humans, who've been bonded."

"I know," Shouto said. He glanced furtively at Katsuki, unusually shy. It was, Katsuki thought, extremely cute. "I know, but your kind—they mate for life as well, don't they? So I thought… I thought I should show you that I mean this, too, that I want—this. With you."

"Vamp," Katsuki said, with a bark of laughter, "you think I didn't know that?"

"I mean, forever," Shouto clarified. "Until the end of time, or of us."

Katsuki looked over at him. "I've known that since the first time you bit me."

Shouto smiled that nearly secret smile again. "Oh. Alright."

The full feeling in Katsuki's chest threatened to flow over, like the waves on the shore. He watched them, climbing onto the sand, over and over. It gave him an idea.

"Can vampires go in the ocean?" he asked. He'd heard rumors before that they couldn't, but wasn't sure if they were true.

"We can, unless it's high tide," Shouto said. "Why?"

Katsuki grinned at him. "Come swim with me."

When they reached the little section of beach near their bungalow, Katsuki grabbed Shouto's hand and pulled him towards the waves. He stripped off his tank top as he went, then decided to hell with it—his pants followed, and his underwear. He glanced back to see Shouto struggling with the buttons on his Hawaiian shirt, before attempting to pull it over his head with only half of them still undone, and wound up stuck as a result. Katsuki guffawed at him, and then took pity, helping him escape the confines of the shirt. Shouto was barely free before he had draped his arms around Katsuki's neck and pulled him in for a kiss that lingered like the moonlight on their bodies.

The water of the warm, endless ocean was dark, deep black-blue under the night sky. Contrasted with the sparkling silver of the moon's light reflecting off its surface, it felt even more ethereal to Katsuki. But even that paled in comparison to holding Shouto in his arms.

"So," he growled, close to Shouto's ear, "you liked him, did you?"

"Who?" Shouto asked, innocent as anything.

"That little wide-eyed barkeep."

"Don't act so surprised," Shouto said, head tilting as Katsuki grazed the soft skin of his neck with his teeth. "I saw how you were watching him."

Katsuki chuckled. "I wouldn't have minded getting in a few bites."

"You sound like a dirty old man."

"Takes one to know one."

"Fair enough," Shouto admitted with little shame. "Although I do think preying upon pretty mortal virgins is more a vampiric trait than a wolfish one."

"So you really decided to stray far from the beaten path for me, did you?" Katsuki murmured, which made Shouto laugh. He pointedly didn't deny it. Katsuki grinned into his neck. "Bastard."

"You were very hard to ignore," Shouto said. "As much as I tried."

"Are you saying I'm just an indiscriminate monster, then?" Katsuki murmured, dragging his fingers down Shouto's back, loving the feel of cool wet skin smooth like polished stone beneath his touch. "You have all the self-control, while I'll devour anything I set my sights on without hesitation?"

He wished for his claws, that he might scratch the smug beautiful immortal up a bit, even if it never did any real damage. But the moon was not full, and so it was just blunt fingernails he scraped over the inviting curve of Shouto's spine, down the small of his back, over the bare swell of Shouto's perfect backside.

"Oh," Shouto whispered, that telltale breathless exhalation he made despite not drawing breath, the one that meant he wanted. He pressed closer to Katsuki, hands lifting from the water, dripping moonlight as he raised them to Katsuki's face. "Yes, I am saying that."

Katsuki kneaded fingers roughly into his ass. Oh, he knew what he wanted, now; he would spread Shouto apart for him, and he knew Shouto wouldn't resist. Shouto was stronger than him on half-moon nights like this, more ancient and more powerful than Katsuki as long as the moon wasn't full.

That was why it was such a thrill, to make him weak with lust and desire. Make his knees buckle and his hands and voice shake.

"I'm not that indiscriminate," Katsuki told him. "I only see you, I only want to taste you, every fuckin' part." His smile was practically evil against Shouto's lips as he poured all his dark intent inside the vampire, making Shouto moan, rut his hips against Katsuki desperately, mindless. "I want to eat you from the inside out—you want that? Yeah?"

"Ka—Katsuki, yes—"

Katsuki kissed him properly, heart burning as he licked his way into Shouto's mouth, their tongues tangling together. Shouto had gotten much more experience since the first time, but it still rendered him utterly powerless in Katsuki's grasp. Katsuki couldn't blame him; kissing his vampire was pure intoxication, and he was hard pressed to stop once he started. He had spent hours kissing Shouto some days, until it could barely be called a kiss, and was more like learning; lips on cool skin, drowning in that familiar scent. If he didn't need to eat or sleep (unlike Shouto), Katsuki was sure he could have gone on kissing him for days on end, without stopping. Most often, it was only the allure of wanting other things that pulled him away from Shouto's lips.

They would need Shouto to feed, at some point—but Katsuki had other plans for him first.

He lifted Shouto out of the water, throwing the vampire easily over his shoulder with no small sense of satisfaction. The view was good this way, Shouto's ass right at the corner of his vision. Katsuki turned his head and bit down on one cheek, hard.

Shouto barely stifled a yelp. "You're really enjoying taking this 'savage beast' thing as far as you can."

Katsuki was enjoying it. He gave no response aside from a low growl, wading out of the water until only the balmy breezes brushed his skin. Even dripping wet, it was comfortable and only mildly cool. It may be almost unbearably warm while wearing clothes, but in just his skin it was wonderful, and a welcome change from the blighted woods they called home. It made him want to feel the slick slide of Shouto's skin under his, the way their bodies moved together when they were drenched in humid island sweat.

Shouto bounced on the mattress, already looking adorably overwhelmed, when Katsuki tossed him down onto the sheets of the overly plush bed in their cozy beach bungalow. Katsuki left the ocean-facing doors flung wide open, to let in the island salt wind, the sight of the beach vista at night, the distantly thunderous ebb and flow of the waves rising up the shore.

"Turn over," Katsuki ordered Shouto, who obeyed him without question.

Katsuki was glad they had already shed their clothes before going into the water. He didn't have the patience to deal with them now, with Shouto on his knees in front of him, the arch of his back pale and utterly sinful.

"What is it about this place that's got you so easily worked up?" Katsuki asked him—not a complaint, just a curiosity. There was very little to complain about, in his opinion, not when he was dragging his mouth down the length of Shouto's spine, lavishing him with sharp bites and wet kisses all aimed toward a common goal.

"Am I easier than usual?" Shouto asked him. He sounded surprised. And no, perhaps not—even back at the castle he succumbed easily to the feeling of Katsuki's mouth, whispering filthy promises over every inch of him. But…

"You're talking back less," Katsuki decided.

"Ah… that's because—oh…" Shouto sighed, voice drifting away into nothing when Katsuki breathed hot against his entrance.

"Because?"

"Because you—Katsuki," he gasped, breaking off again. It sounded like it may be an admonishment, and probably was, considering Katsuki was well aware he would have a difficult time of talking with Katsuki's tongue sliding over him, licking at sensitive skin.

"Because I what?" Katsuki asked, pausing. Shouto groaned.

"Ass," he muttered, and then: "Because you came all this way with me."

Katsuki's heart constricted in his chest. He shook his head sharply, feeling it becoming too fuzzy far too quickly. "Ain't that amazin' when I damn well said I would."

Shouto huffed softly—laughing at him. "You know your accent gets thicker when you're feeling sentimental."

"Oy, you fuck—" Katsuki growled, before he thought to just spread Shouto open and punish the vampire on his tongue.

He always imagined that drinking in the sounds Shouto made when Katsuki had his mouth on him—his ass, his dick, his sensitive pink nipples—must be very close to what it was like for Shouto when he fed on Katsuki's blood. There was that same reckless, greedy danger to it, the way Katsuki felt like he never wanted to stop, not when Shouto was clutching at the sheets, hips writhing, moaning like that.

"Fuck, Katsuki, yes—deeper—"

Katsuki hauled him back, buried his face between Shouto's cheeks to eat him out in earnest. It was so good, the way Shouto lost all sense when Katsuki had him this way, all his composure sloughing off like ice. Katsuki loved that discrepancy most—the power that came hand in hand with the knowledge that he could bring this creature of legends to his knees, could make him beg, make him whine for more, for Katsuki. With only this, too, his tongue the only thing plunged inside of Shouto, rolling inside him, licking him roughly. The way his thighs were trembling made Katsuki's dick grow hard and hot—he wanted to impale Shouto on that, next, but Shouto's cock still lay soft between his legs, and so first, they would need to change that.

"Come here," he said roughly, even as he pulled Shouto upright onto just his knees, his back pressed to Katsuki's chest. Katsuki pressed his forearm to Shouto's mouth. "Drink."

Shouto didn't protest—he never did anymore. Katsuki felt his soft lips moving over his skin, maybe a kiss, but maybe something more mindless as they traveled to his wrist. Then a sharp, quick pain flashed there, as Shouto sunk his fangs in. His long fingers wrapped around Katsuki's forearm hard enough to leave bruises, and Katsuki pressed him even more securely to his chest as Shouto began to drink his fill. Hazy arousal washed over Katsuki every time he sucked and lapped at the pinpricks he'd made.

"Keep going," Katsuki encouraged him, slicking his fingers with the lube they'd brought with them—another more recent mortal ingenuity that he found just as, if not more valuable, than those airplanes or tiny moving maps. "Tastes good, doesn't it?"

Shouto keened softly, a thin animalistic whine, as Katsuki brought two fingers to his already wet entrance, pushing up into him. His shoulders were starting to flush the faintest shade of pink, and he was warmer now, inside. Katsuki couldn't wait to get him hot, get him burning up.

He spread Shouto on his fingers until he could fit four deep inside him. He was light-headed from being drained by the vampire, and his dick ached between his legs almost more than he could bear. Shouto's was swollen now, too, red and leaking. Beads of sweat rolled over his flushed skin, and his body was hot and tight, clenching around Katsuki's fingers whenever he started to pull out.

"You're the one eating me up now," Katsuki murmured in his ear, to get the satisfaction of feeling Shouto shiver.

"Want you…" Shouto slurred. He leaned his head back unsteadily, and Katsuki caught him by the chin, turning his head to kiss his red-smeared mouth. "Give me more, wolf, fill me everywhere…"

Katsuki pushed him unceremoniously down into the sheets, pinning him to pure white, so close to being ruined just like Shouto was. He was nearly salivating, knew if he had a tail just then it would be wagging uncontrollably, as he lowered himself over Shouto eagerly.

"Seems unfair to call me the beast," Katsuki rumbled into his ear as he lined his cock up against Shouto's entrance. "Not when you're the one so ready to be mounted."

"I—I can't help it—" Shouto gasped, pushing insistently, maddeningly back against him. "Having you here is—I was alone for so long, and n-now—"

The small break in his voice was what did Katsuki in. He folded himself over Shouto, burying himself slowly—Shouto took him so well despite how thick he was, groaning, one hand sliding back to grab the red collar Katsuki wore as he was split open on the wolf's cock.

"F-fuck—"

Katsuki loved to hear him swear, loved being the cause of it, curses falling from a mouth so long unused to conversation that the vampire still sometimes forgot to speak his thoughts aloud.

"You're mine," Katsuki panted, heavy and guttural as he rocked his hips up into Shouto, taking him over and over. "Mine. And I'm never letting you get away from me."

Shouto nodded weakly as Katsuki dragged a hand down his chest, over his smooth, warm stomach. His back bent, voice leaving him in a wordless cry as Katsuki wrapped rough fingers around his dick, stroking him in time with each hard thrust inside him.

"I won't—" Shouto whispered, "I won't l-let you leave me—" He gripped the red collar hard, yanked on it, and Katsuki felt the intensity of Shouto's longing break open inside him, flooding him violently. "So—good, so good when I'm full of you—"

It was Katsuki's teeth at the nape of his neck, Katsuki's blood on his tongue and in his veins, and then hot and slick, hips jerking as he came in Shouto with a low moan, pouring himself as deep inside him as he could.

Shouto shuddered, and his hand came to rest on top of Katsuki's on his cock. He made Katsuki stroke him harder, faster, just a few more times and then he was hissing out a long sigh of pleasure, spilling warm over their fingers. Katsuki wrapped a hand loosely around his throat to keep him steady as he licked affectionate kisses over his shoulders, his sweaty neck.

It would probably be nice to clean up, before venturing back out to see what this island had to offer. But for now, Katsuki wanted to keep Shouto close, and all to himself.

He helped Shouto maneuver off him, and the vampire dropped onto the bed, sated and limp. Katsuki propped himself up on his elbow next to him, brushing Shouto's sweaty hair off his forehead to make sure he could see his reddened face properly. Shouto blinked his hypnotic eyes lazily up at him.

"Were you foolish enough to doubt for a moment that I would come with you if you asked?" Katsuki murmured. "After I told you I would?"

"No…" Shouto shook his head. "It's just that… I'm used to it."

"To what?" Katsuki asked.

"Not having anyone," Shouto said. "Seeing places like this, with nobody to see them with."

Katsuki looked out at the idyllic beach again, the shine of the water in the darkness. "Well, I ain't been to a lot of fancy places," he said, "but this is pretty damn nice, so I'll be expecting more of these little trips from now on."

Shouto smiled at him faintly. He grabbed the hand Katsuki was stroking through his hair and pulled it to him, brushing his lips ever so slightly against the two tiny fang marks on Katsuki's wrist.

"I'm beginning to think I'm spoiling you," he said.

"You think?" Katsuki scoffed. "Then you're not doin' a good enough job."

He allowed Shouto to wind his arms around him, pulling him down to the bed, so Katsuki could nuzzle against him without looking like he'd wanted to all along.

"Perhaps you're right," Shouto said, "after all, you'll taste better if you're well fed."

Katsuki sneered up at him, and did not stop even when the vampire had the audacity to kiss the tip of his nose. "You're right," he said, "and I think I'm still feeling very hungry."

It was a good thing they still had many nights left of their vacation—for the first night they ended up spending entirely in their little beachside cottage, and Katsuki got no sleep until the first rays of dawn.
