Chapter 1: Jimmy Page part 1 Led Zeppelin

Chapter Text

The sounds of an acoustic guitar flowed softly as a young woman sat on a crate with her guitar case open in front of her for people to put money into. "There's a lady who's sure.
All that glitters is gold.
And she's buying a stairway to heaven.
When she gets there she knows.
If the stores are all closed.
With a word she can get what she came for.
Oh oh oh oh and she's buying a stairway to heaven." Hazel eyes were closed as the young woman played the song, humming softly for a moment, listening as people walked past her and some dropped money into her case.

A man in dark clothes and equally dark hair stood watching her as she played skillfully, a soft smile on his lips as he watched the way she had her head tilted slightly to one side, listening to the notes she played as she sang. As soon as she finished the song, the man applauded, a wide grin on his face. "That was amazing, I don't think that even Plant sings that as good."

Opening her eyes to look at the man, the young woman's jaw instead nearly dropped to the ground when she saw that it was none other than Jimmy Page standing before her. "Your.....your Jimmy Page!" She said in shock, her hazel eyes wide as she stared at him.

Jimmy couldn't help but to chuckle and gave a nod off his head. "Last time I checked." He said with a cheeky little grin on his face as he gave her a wink. "So, you know my name, but I don't know yours, mind letting me know?" He asked with a curious lift of an eyebrow.

"I'm Alice Sorinson, it's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Page." She said as she quickly wiped her hand on her thigh before holding it out for him to shake.

"Please, just Jimmy. Did you learn to play by listening to music? You do amazingly." The guitarist asked as he shook her hand.

Alice was surprised to hear the praise for her idol and she gave a nod of her head. "Yeah, I'm self taught and learned everything I know by ear." She said with a shy grin on her face as she hugged her guitar lightly to her chest. "Thank you for the compliment, but I'm really nowhere near as good as you are though." She said with a soft laugh as she brushed back a lock of long brown hair.

"So where do you normally play?" He asked as he moved to lean lightly on the crate she was seated on so he wasn't in the way of anyone walking past.

Alice gave a laugh and shook her head as she waved a hand at the spot they were in. "This is where I preform, there's no way that a club or something would hire me, trust me, I've tried before but all they want are bands." She said with a slightly sad smile on her face.

Jimmy was surprised by this and thought for a moment before grinning. "What if I could get you a gig? Would you take it?" He asked as he started to come up with a brilliant idea of how to get this girls name out there.

Alice looked at the rock star with a bit of skepticism in her eyes, but soon gave a nod of her head. "And just what exactly do you want out of this Mr. Page?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

Tapping his chin as if to think it over, the lead guitarist hummed softly. "How about a date? Give me that little bit of extra motivation to find you a good gig even faster." He asked her with a wink.

Hazel eyes went wide at that and stumbled over her words in shock at the offer. "A....a date? You're asking me on a date?" She asked him, her cheeks lightly flushed, biting her bottom lip lightly before giving a nod of her head. "You've got yourself a deal Jimmy."
