Chapter Text
Secrets: Prologue | Soul
Warnings:
Do not repost my work anywhere, for any reason, anywhere. Do not copy it, claim it as your own, save as a file and upload nor discredit me for my work. I will take action against anyone who attempts to do so.
Stealing is pathetic, disgusting and wrong in all ways, as are the people who do it, and I don’t care what excuse may be attempted to be used to justify it. Any excuse is invalid. Theft is theft no matter the format and content.
This work comes from my imagines work on this site; it was posted originally on the 23rd of September 2018 but has now been moved into its own work, as have the other parts of this series, Secrets.
This is so that I can keep them neat and tidy in their own works which will then be in a series.
Triggers: Standard IkéSen-Based Warnings
If these are a problem, you should not even be playing the game itself and it’s not my fault if you’re reading content about it when the game itself is triggering for you.
As such, if these are your triggers, leave now - it’s not on me if you proceed knowing you’ll be triggered by any of the following things.
- Abandonment;
- Abuse (Physical and emotional);
- Death;
- Graphic Violence;
- Homelessness;
- Suicide Mention.
Triggers: Warnings less or non-existent in IkéSen itself
Again, if these are your triggers, leave now - it’s not on me if you proceed knowing you’ll be triggered by any of the following things.
- Body image anxieties;
- Bullying;
- Divorce.
This is not a light-hearted story, although it will become much happier toward the end. The first six parts are largely heavy-duty angst but are important to the integrity of the story and this series on a whole.
The following chapters will be more akin to soft fluff and hurt/comfort.
Bear this in mind if you read.
Additional Notes:
This story extrapolates loosely the pasts of the characters and in some places their real-life counterparts’ histories to build up the backgrounds of the modern characters.
- This is not exact nor precise all the way through, and those pasts act as a skeleton for the lives I have built up for the characters within this story.
- The specific details of what those characters do will not be true for the real-life counterparts in all places.
- Do not take this story as a reflection of real life, because it is not.
- It is loosely based around some events but nothing more and should not be interpreted as such.
Each character has a designated section for their pasts.
- The lengths of these are not even and are dependent on what happens in them and their response to such incidents.
- Fluctuations in segment lengths are intentional and should be expected; they are not due to a lack of care or interest in said character but because of plot line complexity and other story factors.

Note: More sources than this were used, but I didn’t decide to create this until later and couldn’t find every source I used, so these are just the ones I’ve been able to remember. Apologies.
