A smack resounded throughout the dining room, shocking everyone as they enjoy their scrumptious dinner. Slowly, Choi Han turns his head to the source of the sound, the head of the table, where Cale-nim sat.
What met his eyes were a flash of red, a head, lying face down on the table. Choi Han blinked, confusion on his face before it turned into panic and he rushed up to Cale. But Ron was quicker.
“Young Master? Young Master! Are you okay? “
“Human! Human! What is wrong with you? I, the great and mighty Raon will help!”
“Meow!”
All sorts of exclamations rang throughout the Super Rock Villa, all of concern for their reckless young master. The young master in the question slowly raised his head, laying his chin on the table and—
“Hic!”
.
.
.
“Oh no, I must have given him too much of the strong wine...” muttered Bud.
The people in the room all snap their heads towards the Mercenary King, most of them turning from relief to anger. Bud trembled under the glares of the group before stilling himself when he heard a loud and resounding pop.
Heads snapping to the front, they were confronted with the sight of a little red bird, hopping around drunkenly as it stared in awe at its surroundings. Everything was so much bigger than him, Cale hazily thought while staring at the bowl of soup. It smells... it smells good! His eyes brightened and he made a leap— right into the bowl of soup.
Plop!
“C...Cale!”
“Human!”
“Young Master!”
Ahhh, it smells great in here~ Cale drunkenly thought. He rolled around in the thick soup broth before nibbling on a carrot. Although, it might have been a bad idea, my wings are all sticky now...
At that moment, the little red bird spotted a glass of water on the table. It’s eyes lit up in anticipation, before flapping its tiny wings and swan diving into the glass.
He twisted and turned in the water, stretching both his wings and his feet before paddling and paddling before laying still. Ahh, how nice...
He does not notice the adoring stares coming from the people surrounding the cup, nor the gleaming eyes of his children.
