Work Text:
You're the only one in my world.
Jungkook sits upon his bed, black hair covering his features, hand clasped around a single photo. The last photo he has of his love, his world. The last photo that is keeping him from tumbling a dark mountain, a mountain that no one could ever come back from. If he falls down this mountain, the boy will break, and what will be left of him?
Oh, How he missed his Taehyung. His love, heart, and possibly even soul.
I bloom for you, but you make me thirsty.
Did Taehyung, his sweet honey bear even think? Think of how much losing Jungkook's first and what he thought would be his only love would hurt? No, of course, he didn't, because Jimin said it'd be fine. Fine if he just left Jungkook with a single photo and text that would simply crush his heart.
'Let's break up.'
Jungkook sees his phone buzz and lights up, screen turning on to showcase a notification that crushed him, made anger pulse within him hot like a burning rod that would split his skin into a blister of pain.
Taehyung tweeted, what it said didn't matter to Jungkook. What mattered was the fact that Park fucking Jimin was mentioned in it. That bitch.
Jimin who had been looking at his boyfriend while they were together like some fucking possession to be owned, something to fuck and then drop. Park Jimin who dated Min Yoongi before they broke up cause he cheated on the poor gummy smile man with some man with dimples that no one even really knew.
Park Jimin who was Taehyung's best friend and as sickening as it was for Jungkook to admit soulmate.
How could you want to be friends with that? Okay, maybe Jungkook was being irrational, but he was seeing red around him, the color inviting and making him lose his mind. It was a dangerous road he was going down but he couldn't control it.
But, he was supposed to be calm, it was a calm breakup. Taehyung was an adult, and so was Jungkook. He could make his own choices. If that was leaving Jungkook just because, he could deal with that. If Taehyung wanted to be friends with a piece of sh- friendly guy. Jungkook could deal with it, Jungkook didn't own Taehyung. He wasn't Jimin.
Then his eyes drifted, no. Jungkook no, he doesn't belong to you. He can tweet without you looking at the tweet, you two broke up. You should unfollow him and get him out of your life like he was doing with you.
His hand reaches out, photo forgot on his dark blue sheets, the ones that he and Taehyung used to spend nights on, watching movies, talking, making love. The sheets that held memories that now weighed Jungkook down.
Jungkook, stop yourself you fool. Stop thinking about him, he moved on why, for fucks sakes can't you? Are you so incapable of being without him?
For a moment, Jungkook and his mind became split, the moment where Jungkook picked up his phone and unlocked it. The moment where Jungkook saw the tweet, the one were Jimin had his arm wrapped around his Taehyung's shoulders, with that grin that was so sweet that it was seductive. The tweet where Taehyung was smiling, so bright and innocent like he didn't break Jungkook's heart before that, eyes wide and bright with a warmth that burnt like love. The tweet with three hearts as the caption, words that spoke volumes without doing too much.
A snarl forms on his lips. He was pissed. That was his boyfriend, his bear. His.
It's too late, too late.
I can't live without you.
He feels his mind rush back to him, pulling him back. He drops his phone, the sound of it thumping on the floor ringing throughout his room. A gasp slipping from his lips, what the hell just happened?
He felt so... powerful just then, free from the cage of his mind, it was fulfilling, but... He could remember the love he had for Taehyung. The way it made his heart flutter, the way whenever Taehung would call his name in that sweet tone, the tone that made Jungkook feel like he had the whole world in the palm of his hand, but then again, back then. Taehyung was his world, and his mind was back, holding him, keeping him sane.
What the fuck is wrong with him? He was going insane, is this what first heartbreak was supposed to feel like? Pressure against the bone of his skull, the murderous feeling clamping down in his soul, his vision blurring in a rage of red. Was that heartbreak?
He... He enjoyed it. Felt like he could control it, use it.
Could this get his Taehyung back? If he did it right, would Taehyung come back to him? Into his arms?
No, not his. Just Taehyung back. He wasn't possessive enough to make Taehyung a possession, Jungkook was better than Jimin, way better. Nothing like him.
Even if I'm drying out, I try harder to reach you.
So, he cuts his phone off. He needed to calm down for a moment, being irrational was going to get him nowhere. He needed to think, yes, just accepting the break would be the way better choice, but Jungkook was not going to make that choice. He was stubborn and he was getting his winter bear back, no matter the costs.
He stood up. He knew he looked like a mess, eyes red and puffy from crying, hair touseled from doing nothing but being in a sad bubble since waking up, his whole outfit wrinkled and dirty. He couldn't look like this if he was going to get his boyfriend back. It just would not do. He looked like someone punched him through walls, the brick type.
He walks into his bathroom, stripping as he starts multitasking, mind free from the pulsating sadness and anger. Jungkook, himself again. It was nice, how calm it was, how the pure fantasy in his head could control his emotions so easily.
He fixes himself, makes himself look less like a mess, and more like something that looked at least halfway decent. His hair combed down, eyes less puffy with the help of makeup, clothes changed into black, totally and completely black.
This would work. It just had to, right?
Taehyung must still have some love left, it couldn't all be gone that fast. Their love was too strong for that. Jungkook just had to believe.
---- ⍦ ----
Jungkook did research, nothing too bad. It was mostly just scrolling through Taehyung's and Jimin's Instagram and Twitter. It wasn't stalking, Taehyung hadn't blocked him for it to be considered that yet.
He learned a few things, like for instance. Taehyung had deleted every tweet that included Jungkook in it, every single photo, tweet, mention. Poof, and gone, and it annoyed Jungkook for a bit, but then he got over it a lot quicker than one would've expected, especially after earlier instances.
There was also the fact, that Jimin and Taehyung would seem to be having a day out, going out to eat, to the park, then spending the rest of the day at the mall. That's when Jungkook would see him when Jungkook would get him back.
But until then, he needed to figure more out about himself. This brings him to where he was now, Min Yoongi's home. Now there were two reasons he was here, one. This is Jimin's ex, which is good for information on him, but also because Yoongi was like a brother to Jungkook and they trusted each other.
They were friends before Jimin even started dating Yoongi, in fact. That is how they met, through Jungkook. He thought that if one of Taehyung's friends met one of his, it'd be nice. He was wrong, completely and totally wrong, but back then Jungkook also thought that when you fell in love, bells would ring. He met Taehyung during running late to class, those bells were telling him he was going to fail, fail in many things other than class.
He stood in front of the door of the man's home, face full of embarrassment. He felt... guilty. Why couldn't he just let Taehyung be free from him, be happy even if that meant it was excluding Jungkook from his life?
No, he needed answers. Taehyung just let him, no reason as to why no answers to if Junkook was good enough. He told him nothing, that was the only reason Jungkook was doing this, to get answers.
He raised his hands, knuckles tapping against the wood. He waits, looking around the outside of the home. Was this a good idea? He was trying to ruin a friendship, he was trying to hurt the person he was also trying to get to take him back. What is wrong with him? He can't do this. He shouldn't do this.
Right as Jungkook was about to leave, he heard a door open. Eyes looking up to be met with a bright heart smile.
Yoongi's new boyfriend, Jung Hoseok. He was the sunshine version of a person, happy whenever he could be, which was mostly all the time. Yoongi and Hoseok have been together for almost six months, they were taking it slow after Yoongi's hard break with Jimin. He didn't trust easy, but Hoseok came and worked hard for that trust, and once Yoongi gave it to him. Well, Jungkook hasn't seen him anywhere near as happy as he was with Hoseok.
"Hi, Kookie! What do ya need?" If joy could be a voice, it would be Hoseok's. It was bright and happy, and Jungkook wondered how someone so bright like Hoseok could be with someone so... meh like Yoongi, but they just worked for each other.
"Hi Hobi! Where's Yoongi?" Jungkook didn't sound sad, in fact. He sounded happy like his heart hasn't just been crushed between a palm belonging to a beautiful man. It could be considered weird, how numb he felt, but Jungkook wasn't even slightly thinking of anything in specific.
"Oh, come in! He's on his phone in the living room, scrolling through whatever. He isn't giving me attention." Hoseok pouts, opening the door wider for Jungkook to step in, looking around the home before giggling.
"It's okay, Hyung. You know he is probably looking for whatever inspiration he will get for a new song." Hoseok sighs sadly, as he closes the door behind the younger male, knowing he was right.
Jungkook noticed a hunched over on the couch, away from the rest of the world as a pale thumb swiped over an iPhone screen. His friend, Yoongi was an artist and spent most of his time either on his phone looking for inspiration for music or in his studio making music.
Jungkook looked at Hoseok who was looking at Yoongi with heart eyes. Was this love? Small glances of adoration? A voice that was all talk no bite when you got angry? Was that love?
But it's no use, it's a dream to be broken
"Um... Hyung, can I have a moment alone with Yoongi?" It wasn't that Jungkook wasn't okay talking about his newly turned ex with Hoseok around, but whenever Jimin was mentioned around him that sunny aura everyone knew slowly drifted away and turned into a hot ball of fire and anger instead.
Hoseok nodded slowly, walking out of the living room and upstairs into his bedroom that was more a studio for dancing, he basically slept in Yoongi's bed a hundred percent of the time.
I run and run, but I'm not getting anywhere
Jungkook sighed as the bubbly mood he put on drifted off and out of him, the dead and broken heart mood he was actually in as he sat next to his friend, pulling the phone out of Yoongi's hand who flinched in shock before noticing it was Jungkook who did it. His sharp cat eyes looking over his friend in worry as he finally realized the mood Jungkook was in.
"What's up, Kookie?" His deep raspy voice sounded out as Jungkook laid his head in the elder's lap, sniffing gently as his nose scrunched. He had done so much crying, he couldn't do it anymore, but he wanted to. So bad.
"Taehyungie... He left me." Jungkook could feel his best friend tense in shock, eyes widen just a bit before they darkened, from the normal dark yet comforting eyes he normally had, you could feel the anger boiling inside of them just by the way his relaxed hands turned into fists, the naturally pink knuckles turning a blushed red.
Just burn me out, yes
Jungkook almost moved back, but for some reason, he understood this anger. This murderous rage his friend was in, he had felt this rage before. He knew this rage.
"Hyung..." Jungkook said gently, looking at Yoongi. He could see the other was in his own world, thinking of things that just had to be absolutely terrifying and bone shocking.
"I am going to kill him. " Yoongi growled under his breath, a snap cutting through each word with promise. Jungkook didn't want to stop him.
Wait, didn't? No that's not right, this was the love of his life. He wanted him alive, he wanted him. He needed him.
"Hoseok!" Jungkook called out, worry lacing his voice as Yoongi stood up, Jungkook's head hitting the couch before he leaned up.
He heard thumping down the steps before he saw a sweaty Hoseok, worry spread over his face. Eyebrows scrunched together before his eyes locked with Yoongi. Who seemed to be heading for the door with purpose in each step. Each murderous step.
Hoseok seemed to relax a bit more, but he quickly walked in front of Yoongi, grabbing the males wrists before looking him dead in the eye, his beautiful soft ones that didn't stand down even when Jungkook could see him start to tremble as Yoongi held onto him tightly.
"Babe, calm down. Remember what we talked about? You need to calm down. Look at me, look. You don't need to hurt anyone. You're okay." Hoseok spoke lowly, words filled with love lacing throughout them. His voice gentle and sweet, calming.
Yoongi relaxed slowly, his hands unclenching, shoulders going lax. He looked in Hoseok's eyes and Jungkook could see him come back, and the disappointment that filled his gut came in two parts.
Keep pushing me away
One, cause he wanted that. That fulfilling love, the love that makes your toes curl up, and your stomach lift and glide away when you think of someone. He wanted the love that made him want to kill whoever touched what was his. He wanted that.
And two, because for some reason. He wanted Yoongi to walk out the door. He didn't know why, but he wanted it.
This is a fool, crazy in love, chasing in circles.

Yoongi had long since calmed down and was now sitting back down on the couch. Hoseok beside him, their hands interlocked as his thumb ran over Yoongis pale knuckles. Jungkook was on the other couch across from them now, hugging a pillow as the sad mood washed over him again.
Hoseok had been caught up on the small bit of it, the basic details that helped fill in both Yoongi and him and even then a dark aura settled over Hoseoks normally bubbly face. Yoongi then got the chance to calm him down during that. Though it was less dark than the one Yoongi went through.
Now, Jungkook is explaining his second part. His plan to get his beloved back into his arms.
"So, I plan to meet them at the mall, I will try to apologize and get him to forgive me. I just need to figure out how to get that disgusting bastard-"
Hoseok cuts him off with a snap in his tone while Yoongi chuckles. "No name-calling, not even if he is a piece of absolute shit! Be respectful."
Jungkook smiles a little bit and nods, knowing better than to go against Hoseok when he tells you to do something. They'd known each other long enough for that.
"What he means to say, is that you shouldn't say such negative names out loud in front of him, because it makes him want to find Jimin himself and murder him in cold blood," Yoongi says with a chuckle, his hand coming up to run his thumb over his lover's cheekbone, a soft affectionate action that meant more to them then it looked to Jungkook from afar.
I run, run, run
I can't stop.
Jungkook rolls his eyes playfully before nodding, moving the pillow to the side. He lets his legs fall to the floor, boots clicking against the polished wood. "Well, that lovely- and I am saying this with absolutely no such thing as sarcasm. This lovely Jimin took my boyfriend away from me. I want him back. So I need him alone. "
Exchanging looks, and one look out the window. A dangerous smile playing on both of their lips in a terrifying dance, and a scared shiver sent down Jungkook's spine that tingled throughout his bones.
Run, run, run again.
"So... How about we..." Hoseok speaks in a low tone, standing up before he moves to sit down next to Jungkook. Yoongi sitting on the other side of the youngest male, and a hand coming up to run through his hair, fingers combing through the locks of Jungkooks raven black hair, his eyes locking with Hoseok's, confusion swirling through his eyes.
I can't help it
"teach you... how to take him as your own." Yoongi finished, a of rasp in his voice as Jungkook felt the brush of air against his neck, hairs standing upon his neck. Hoseok's hand creeping up his thigh, heat pulsing in Jungkook's veins, burning and electric as a certain heat takes over his body, a feeling of lust filling his blood.
This is all I can do anyway
He wants it, craves it. There's something dark and dangerous with each of the male's touches, something that burns Jungkook's heart and turns it black. It reminds him of earlier this morning, the want to take more of everything to get more of everything, to have his love and his one, forever.
He whines softly, but it doesn't sound like him. It's something primal, a low sound rumbling in his throat. He turns to a side, body leaning against Yoongi's chest. His legs spread as Hoseok finds his way in between them, his hands crawling up to Jungkook's waist, nails digging through the cloth into his waist.
"You want him? You'd die for him? You'd kill for him? huh?" Yoongi speaks lowly into Jungkook's ear, it makes him whine louder. He rolls his hips back into Yoongi's growing length. His hands wrapping behind him, locking around Yoongis neck. He nods quickly, agreeing. That's all he wants.
All I know is how to love you.
"Could you kill him, huh? Kookie? Would you kill him to have him forever?" Hoseok adds on, the wording that sent a certain flare throughout his body. He would, fuck- he would. He loved Taehyung so much, he would do anything to keep him for longer, for forever.
Was it weird? To get off to his ex that he was deeply in love with. While he had two extremely handsome men teasing and playing with him.
They didn't seem to mind though, with how Yoongi was panting in his ear at each roll of his hips, cursing under his breath, and Hoseok was moving towards his clothed heat. Jungkook felt more possessive over Taheyung then he had ever, everything of his belonged t his ex-lover, but yet here he was tainting the skin of his own with men that he did not care for. It excited him, but it made him angrier, wanted to make him kill Taehyung, take him forever so there would be no need for sharing himself.
and as Hoseok unbuttoned Jungkook's pants, and slipped a hand inside of his pants, cupping the base of Jungkooks hot length, wet as precum dribbled down the side, a beautiful shine over the thickness. Jungkook made a promise to himself, a promise to anything that ever wished to take what was his. Even if it was his lover himself.
It's okay to get hurt.
He promised that he would kill whoever tried to that away.

Jungkook fixes his hair as he walks to his car, dried cum and spit on his chin as he looks back to the couple, dark eyes looking at him as he stares back, giving them a wink. He saw Hoseok gulp, and Yoongi smirk before the disappeared back into the house, but not before Yoongi called out. "Make him yours, Kookie. You owe him now, you cheating bastard."
Jungkook just chuckled as he slipped into his car, wiping the mess from his lips, and fixing his clothes. He felt like a cheap whore, a prostitute who would do anything just to live, and that sent a flare throughout him. It was so hot.
He puts on a pair of black sunglasses, starting the engine of his car. He starts driving to the mall, a song playing in his car, filling his ears as he giggles quietly to himself. He learned a lot with the two males, sexual things like how to make someone cum with just kisses, and how to swallow two loads of cum, with absolutely no worries, but also less sexual things and more dangerous things like how to cut someone's throat in the matter of a millisecond, and how to get a pesky friend away from someone just by sending a confusing and anonymous text.
I'm alright, even if I can't have you
He leaned over in his car, opening the dash to grab a small object, a knife. Black and matte, a gift Taehyung had gotten him on the same day they confessed their first I love you's to each other, it seemed romantic enough, to hurt what he loved with an object dear to his heart. It would be a perfect way to keep him close, tangling their hearts together without a doubt.
It had long since been the even, slowly the sun drowned out by the moon as the sky turned a beautiful color of orange, red, and yellow. Cinematically eye-catching and perfect for the experience he was going to go through tonight. It would be lifechanging, he would have his bear back.
Pitiful destiny,
He enjoys his time during the car, thumbing the knife between his thumb and pointer finger, twirling it around his hand. He rolls down his window, letting the breeze pick up and collect under his hair, the strands flowing throughout the air. Almost as if they were running along with the wind. He wishes he had freedom like that, that they would have freedom like that.
He hums along to the words of the son, the only song he could feel for right now, a song that made him understand how important his love towards Taehyung was, how groundbreaking and one of a kind it is. How important it would be if he wanted to have Taehyung forever, and ever.
He needed to be dedicated to this love, to his heart. He needed to be reckless and take what he wanted, because if he wasn't and if he didn't... then there would be no point for this at all, except for more of a broken heart then the one he was already carrying inside his chest. The pieces broken and laying across his ribcage, black and dead like his emotions, all emotions drowned out except the emotion of love. The one emotion he could feel in every five of his being, keeping him sane... or was it insane? What would those who didn't understand the need to keep his love as he sees him as? a yandere? insane?
It doesn't matter, cause Yoongi and Hoseok understood him, they knew what it was like. They appreciated.
Jungkook thought about those two, they explained some things to him. Why he was feeling so much more for Taehyung, why he wanted more. No- need more of his love.
Yoongi told him that the breakup broke part of his mind, considering it a psychotic break. Which would explain the weird feeling of someone rational talking to him while he could only wish to make Taehyung's his. They said people wouldn't get it from happening from love, but they understood. They helped him even. They told him to accept it, to relish in the feeling of power it gave him when he thought about someone touching what was his.
They told him that he would be considered psychotic if he went to seek actual help for his love, that the only person who could truly understand him would be his love. His true love. Taehyung.
So they helped him, during the breakup Yoongi and Jimin had. Yoongi learned a few things, like the man that he had slept with was named Kim Namjoon, married to a Kim Seokin. Although people rumored that their relationship was just for show. Considering Namjoon was a music artist, and Seokjin was an actor. Jimin was Namjoon's... piece of freedom some would say, and Seokjin didn't care who he slept with as long as it didn't make it to the news.
So, Jungkook sent a message to Jimin, using a different number so he wouldn't recognize it as Jungkook's number. The message said something along the line of 'You might want to leave the poor boy you're with, no one would like to see a pretty face in some nasty drama with the man who home wrecks, huh?'
Now, hoping everything went to plan. Jimin would get the next right before they left the mall t closing time. He would tell Taehyung to wait at the door before running away like cowards normally do. Taehyung, the sweet little soul he is. Would listen and wait, and wait. Until Jungkook could see him by himself, and then they'd go back into the mall. He would try and get his love back, or he would die trying. As long as he was with his love, nothing else would matter. Even in death.
point your finger at me.

The moon had finally long since came into the sky, shining an elegant glow over everything in sight. A cool look over the mall, Jungkook was sitting in his car. Looking over at the doors of the mall, he was slightly annoyed. Jimin should've been left the mall by now, he needed to see his Taehyung alone but yet the bastardly Park was still in there with him.
His rolled down windows allowed a breeze of cool into the car, it was nice to calm down and help him keep his patience at the moment because he was moments away from stepping out of the car and killing Jimin for keeping his love with him.
"Yknow, you look weirdly creepy like this. Take those sunglasses off, fuck face. " Jungkook jumps as he hears a honey light tone in his ear, turning around quickly. He feels his anger boil inside his stomach as he stares into the face of the reason his boyfriend left him.
The one and only Park Jimin, that Taehyung wouldn't let go even after he cheated on Yoongi, broke Yoongi's heart, and then dragged him through hell, even through that Taehyung still believed down below that Jimin was a good person. It was sickening.
Jungkook felt the snarl on his face before he calmed down, he wasn't here for Jimin. He was here for his love.
Grabbing the sunglasses off his face, he pulls them off his face, setting them on his lap he turns to look at Jimin. "What do you want?"
Jimin just shrugged with a chuckle, leaning on the side of Jungkooks car, he clicks his tongue like he was thinking. "I kissed your boyfriend."
Jungkook almost jumped out the car when those words slipped past Jimins lip's, how dare that bitch kiss what was his. What belonged to him, that whore-
"Now listen to me, Jungkookie. I know you sent that text, you're not subtle. So I will make you a promise. I will leave, I told Taehyung to wait, but if you want him to be yours. Just know this, he's seen you break before. That's why he left you, not because you were bad, because he was terrified. You probably don't even remember it, hell, but if you want him to be yours. You might as well kill him, cause if you don't..." Jimin leans into the window, lips brushing right against Jungkook's ear, that sultry tone that Jungkook has heard used on his boyfriend so many times now being used on him.
"He will be mine."
~〄~
Jungkook walked into the mall. Jimin had left not too long ago, after leaving Jungkook with the piece of advice he needed. The mall was empty for the most part, drunk teenagers that were taking their sweet precious time to leave were all that were left in the mall.
The weight of his knife felt heavy in his pocket, dragging him down with each step Jungkook took up the escalator, he understood Jimin's words. Taehyung was terrified of him, it explained so much. Like why Taehyung sent him a text instead of breaking up with him or text, the stress that had taken over Taehyung whenever Jungkook was alone with him. It made so much sense now.
But it also meant Taehyung wouldn't take him back. He would be too scared to, so now Jungkook's mind was set. He told Yoongi and Hoseok, and they agreed with him, told him they would work on a story for both of them. As long as he made he at least gave Taehyung one chance to try and take him back.
He felt his air catch in his throat as he saw a puff of blue hair sitting on a bench, hunched over as a thumb ran over a phone screen, playing a game of pubg while it seemed to be waiting, while he seemed to be waiting.
His Taehyungie, so beautiful even from the back. So lovely to watch, Jungkook felt a feeling creep inside of him, a feeling of true love. His hands slipped inside his pockets, the hand with the knife curling around the knife as he walked closer. Cold metal numbing the feeling of his thumbs along with the feeling of want, of need.
"Tae-Tae?" Jungkook said softy, he frowned when he saw the body tense for a moment before turning around slowly.
Oh, fear... Taehyung's naturally beautifully tanned face was contorted with it, scrunching up in places where they would normally be relaxed, mouth parted in shock as he involuntarily scooted back away from Jungkook on the bench.
"Jungkook? What are you-" Jungkook didn't have time to answer questions, they needed to move from sight if they were going to stay in the mall, it was closing and men were starting to force the slower teenagers out of the mall.
"Come with me Tae, we need to talk, please?" Jungkook said in a pleading tone, he needed his. He was so close to having his boyfriend back, but he would never get that chance again if they got pulled apart again. He needed this, craved this.
Taehyung looked terrified, and it broke Jungkook on the inside. Didn't he know he would never hurt his love? He would kill himself if he ever did such a thing to his beauty, but nonetheless, sweet sweet Taehyung agreed with a nod, standing up slowly. He turned to walk into an empty store, keeping his distance from Jungkook as he followed.
The went inside the shop, it was mostly empty. Must have been abandoned a long time ago. Taehyung leans against a wall across from Jungkook, his eyes looking at the tiles of the floor, to the cracks in the wall. Anywhere but at Jungkook.
Jungkook clears his throat before he starts talking, taking his hands out of his pocket, minus the knife. "I just... you left without saying anything. Just a text and then you're gone, you didn't explain anything to me. I sat there and cried, wondering if I was good enough." Taehyung looks up at Jungkook with a sadness swirling in his eyes, and Jungkook almost breaks down, but Jungkook kept going. He needed to get his emotions out, hed been holding them in for so long that it felt like they were bubbling inside of him, waiting to explode out of him and take over his thoughts.
Don’t tell me bye bye
"You could have at least, at least told me straight up why you left. Instead, you just left me to myself and just removed me from your life like I was nothing but an ant, a piece of trash that mattered nothing to you, while you matter so fucking much to me... then- then you fucking kiss Jimin? not even a day after we break up? How fucking sick are you?" Jungkook leans up, the same anger that had been burning in his veins earlier this morning coming back, the same need to kill burning throughout his soul.
You make me cry cry
Taehyung's eyes widened in shock, probably wondering how Jungkook figured out such a piece of information, he leans up from the wall. His hands in front of his body in fear. He moves back as Jungkook moves forward, his mind breaking again.
Love is a lie lie
"Did our love mean nothing, Taehyungie? Nothing at all? Every bit of love I gave to you meant nothing? is this all we are? A lie?" Jungkook snarled as his mind broke, that same rational voice coming back to him, telling him to stop. Telling him this was wrong and that he shouldn't be doing this, but here we are. Jungkook's hand slipping back into his pocket, pulling out the knife this time.
Don’t tell me, don’t tell me
Taehyung's eyes fill with tears, he falls to the floor, scooting away from Jungkook in fear. "Kookie, please-"
Jungkook, stop. This is wrong.
Oh, but it felt so right. Taehyung belonged to him, and he needed to prove that. Taehyung needed to know that forever, even if he would need to kill Taehyung to prove it.
Jungkook sighed softly as Taehyung's back hit the wall. He squats down in front of his love. "Taehyungie, I love you so much, but you need to understand that you're mine. You've always been mine, my sweet little bear." Jungkook speaks softly as the tears run down Taehyung's cheeks, trembling and shaking as Jungkook's drags the knife down Taehyung's cheek.
Jungkook, don't.
Jungkook, do.
The main part of him knew this was wrong, his mind knew this was wrong, but at the end of the day. Aren't we supposed to listen to our hearts? and Jungkook's was telling him this was right, where he was now was right.
Don’t tell me bye bye
But he was a fair guy, so he decided he'd give Taehyung a choice. He smiles softly, standing up. He places the knife on a table away fromTaehyung, sitting next to the table. Taehyung sniffles as he looks at Jungkook like he was seeing a different person. The fear inside of him was paralyzing, it was something he never thought he would deal again around Jungkook. Not again.
Everyone says it’s over, but I can’t stop
The day Jungkook first split wasn't normal, they had gotten in their first fight. Taehyung had came home drunk after saying he would stay at work for a bit longer, Jungkook had waited or him the whole night, and when he saw his boyfriend come home drunk and reeking of a stench that wasn't Jungkook. He snapped. He pushed Taehyung against a wall and threatened him with some of the foulest words that had ever come from those bunny lips.
Taehyung had been locking into Jungkook's eyes, and what he saw staring back at him was not what he had fallen in love with, he fell in love with a sweet bunny, but what was staring back at him was a rabid wolf ready to hunt him down. It was terrifying.
Is this sweat or tears, I can’t really tell oh
But Jungkook just let him go, and went up to their shared room, he never came out for the rest of the night, and since Taehyung was too scared to even face him. He went to sleep on their couch, away from his boyfriend.
After that, they slowly fell out of love, or well Taehung did, every time he saw Jungkook. He swore there was a flicker of those same eyes he saw on that night, and he could never heal from that.
My love stripped bare, the stormy winds
And now here he was, with that same fear being installed into him right after he got the courage to try and heal. Where was Jimin? Why did he leave? Was this their plan all along? To make sure he never left Jungkook? He didn't want that, gosh he didn't want it.
"I will give you a choice, you can try to leave, and I will kill you, but if you truly love me you will stay here. If you love me as I love you, you will take this knife and carve my name into your skin, okay?" Jungkook says brightly as he swings his legs like this was the best idea he had ever came up with. While Taehyung felt his heart stop in his chest, the fear that overcame him at the words shocked him to the core.
They make me run again, my heart beats again
He didn't know what to choose, he wanted to live, but to give himself up to such fear that Jungkook bestowed upon him made him wish they had never met. He just wanted to be free of this toxic love they had gotten themselves into, yet Jungkook didn't seem like he wanted to get away from such love.
So, Taehyung stood up on shaky legs, his eyes tearing up again as he walked to Jungkook, fear yelling at him to turn around but he knew he'd be unable to. He didn't want to die, he was scared. So fucking scared.
Grabbing the black knife, he feels the cooling sensation in his hand. He remembers this knife, he remembers the day he gave it to Jungkook, they had just said I love you to each other, and Taehyung had promised that with this knife he would love Jungkook even when his heart stopped bleeding.
Locking eyes with Jungkook, he saw the love in his ex's eyes. He saw the precious memories in their dates, in their love, in their bed on the days they'd cuddle, or if they'd fuck.
But he wasn't ready to be owned again, not yet.
He grabbed the knife tightly, turning it around before stabbing it into Jungkook's gut. He screams out in pain, eyes wide in shock as a tear falls down his cheek, as Jungkook grabs his bicep. Taehyung tears from his grasp and runs out of the store, he needed to leave. He needed to run.
I run, run, run
Jungkook groans, hand wrapping around the base of the knife. The searing pain in his stomach as he tugs on the knife, a howl of pain ripping through his lips as he pulls out the knife, placing a hand on his stomach as blood seeped from the womb. He should have seen it coming, but this is how this is going to go, Jungkook would have to make their love eternal.
Taehyung gasps as he runs quickly, hiding inside another store. The sound of Jungkook limping throughout the empty mall sent a steady shock of scare into Taehyungs bones as he pants in fear, but as he heard Jungkook turn into the shop he was in.
I can’t stop
"Oh, Tae. Please, come out. I just want to make you mine." Jungkook says out loud, Taehyung runs out of the shop from the backdoor, Jungkook's head-turning in the direction he ran in before limping along.
Run, run, run again
Taehyung, hides again, this time under a desk. Jungkook following along, blood dripping along the floor as he went into the store again.
Taehyung was getting tired, a mix of the crying he had endured, along with fear plus running from shop to shop was going to make him drown in his own exhaustion. It was a road that would have to end at some point, it was inevitable.
He knew his time was coming near, as Jungkook walked through the shop, as tears ell down Taheyungs cheeks. e knew that he was seeing the light by the end of the days, he knew that oh so soon. The blood staining the floor would be his.
Was he ready to die? No, but now he was. Now he was, he was ready to be free. This was never going to end, and If he had to die to see a resemblance of such freedom. He would die for it.
He just wished it wasn't like this, in an alone mall with the fear of his nightmares. With the stench of blood overcoming him, he didn't want this. He didn't wish for this. He wanted to be happy, in a shop with his friend. Yet, now he was waiting for the inevitable death to overcome him.
Jungkook stops for a moment, looking around as a sick grin took over his face. He turns in the direction of Taehyung before he sighs. "It is sad, I did trust that I would be able to love you with no problem, but yet. I have to do this. I cheated on you, with Yoongi and Hoseok. I am so sorry, but I need to make it up to you, so I will die with you. I will love with you."
Taehyung screams as he feels his ankle get tugged on, kicking and screaming as Jungkook pulled him out from under the table. The knife in his hand cutting on his ankles and legs. The pain searing inside of his veins as he was pulled out to the middle of the floor in the store, fear inside of him.
He turns to face Jungkook, who was looking at him with the darkest eyes, ones that seemed ready to kill him at the second.
Those seconds were coming close. "I am so sorry Taehyungie, I love you so much. More than you will ever know."
Taehyung wasn't ready, he wasn't, but this was coming to an end, and if he was going to die. he might as well go in the arms of his first love. "I am sorry I lost you Kookie, I am sorry." He places a hand on Jungkooks cheek, a small sob falling from him as he felt the knife press against his heart. He wasn't ready, but if he was going to die, at least he'd do it by choice.
Show me the way, please stop me
"I love you." He says softly before a crunch was heard throughout the store and a painful gasp slipped through Taehyungs lips, blood seeping through his shirt. Jungkook looks at him in shock as his eyes rolled back, body falling limp as death consumed him, the steady thump of his heart slowing down to a dull beat then to a stop.
Jungkook slowly pulled the knife from Taehyung's chest the body limp as tears starting to fill Jungook's eyes, but not because of sadness, because of the fulfilling love he felt within him. How Taehyung would die for him, made him feel perfect, worth it.
Let me breathe
He threaded their hands together with a smile, he felt so loved, they were together again, and even as Taehyung's body was limp and unuseful, it moved closer to Jungkook. Like it was a magnet, Jungkook was in love.
"I will join you soon my love, we will be together." He whispers lightly, grabbing the knife tightly. He holds onto the knife tightly, bringing it up to his neck. Taehyung's blood staining his neck.
He would be ready to die by Taehyung's hand. He was so ready.
And as the tearing sound of skin filled the air, as blood dripped down Jungkook's neck, he felt death slowly consume himself. Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's hand tighter.
The split finally cured, Jungkook was happy. He was free, he was so happy.
Soon, I will be with you my love, soon.
His eyes close, as his heart stops. He was finally to be with his love for forever. This was all he wanted.
Soon, his love and he would be known as the ones who died in a drunk fight. As Yoongi and Hoseok made it to be. They would always be there for Jungkook, even if it would have to be through his death.
That was just the truth of love.
Always and forever, sickness and in health. Till death do us part.
Don’t tell me bye bye
