Information regarding the actual story is that the reader is absolutely female and there will be no changes due to it being based off of my OC. I sincerely apologize to those who are uncomfortable with using female pronouns, I will take that into regards with my next OHSHC x Reader story.

There are still many issues with the plot and I'm trying to plan it all out. Please leave feedback, I will try my best to make the story better.

~~~~~~~~~~~
The strange strum of an out of tune guitar sounded through the silence. A phone buzzed two times before a hand stretched out from the bed, towards the annoying presence. Bringing the object towards the face of a person, this is (Y/N). (Y/N) is currently laying in her new bed, new sheets.
Her surroundings were of unfamiliar walls of light beige and cedar brown floors. Her white sheets danced around her body that laid over it. (Y/N) picked up her phone from the umber colored nightstand that sat beside her bed. She looked at the caller, it was her mother.
The soft voice of her mother echoed lightly through the room.
“Hi mama,”
“Did you get to the apartment safely, Mija?” (Y/N)’s mother’s accent bled through her English. The familiarness left (Y/N) with a feeling of comfort.
“Yes, mama, it’s a good apartment,” An airy laugh slipped through (Y/N)’s lips. She shifted in her bed, she plopped onto her back and stared at the ceiling. “How is papa, mama? He’s not overworking again, right?”
“No, no, he’s been resting, don’t worry,” (Y/N)’s mother assured her, the girl could picture the scene… Her mother looking over her shoulder and into the living room, holding the phone with both hands to her ear. Her father lying on the couch with the TV on, watching some animated show he wanted to introduce to his little girl. “Be safe out there, don’t go dancing and focus on your studies!”
“Yes, mama. I promised you this a million times,” (Y/N)’s chest bubbled with laughter. “Should I promise again? Huh, mama?”
“No, no, it’s fine. You must’ve had a long flight already,” Her mother paused before continuing. “You better not forget to take those papers in, otherwise you won’t be able to register.”
“I got it, mama, don’t worry… Take care of yourself,”
“Ai, that’s what I should be saying! Get some rest, girl! Tell me all the drama you get from school,”
“Ahahaha! Sure, sure. I gotta go unpack now, thanks for waking me up.”
“Remember, Mija, you’ll always have a place in this house,” (Y/N) and her mother parted after a few more goodbyes. She sat up in bed and looked over at the unpacked boxes. Exhaustion rushed over her as she remembered the struggle of taking out the smaller objects. She flopped back down and pressed her cheek into her pillow.
‘I wish mama were here…’ (Y/N) remembered her mother, the one who wandered around the house and placed little trinkets here and there. The mother who helped her pack her things with the record she played when she wanted to dance playing in the background. (Y/N) knew her mother would help her with unpacking.
But now it was something she would do alone.
She fell asleep.
-
BEEP! … BEEEP! … BEEEEP!!!
(Y/N)’s hand shot to her phone, roughly grabbing the device and smushing her finger against the already cracked protective screen. Her frustration screwed her face, she pressed more lightly and the alarm finally stopped.
‘What am I supposed to do today?’ Her memory immediately reminded her and she rushed off the bed and into a shower. She cleaned herself up, carefully brushing her hair and fitting it into a high ponytail. Then she slipped on an orange sweater that was a bit too small at the waist, rising slightly. However, it was baggy at the sleeves. After slipping on some shorts, (Y/N) slipped her satchel over her head and headed to her door. She slipped on her socks and shoes, rushing out the door.
After taking a train to the area, (Y/N) walked down a long stretch of gate. As she reached the gates, she noticed how huge the building was. Her expression immediately showed her disbelief and she lifted her phone to show the exact point the school was… She was at the right place. How could a school be so huge?
‘Mama, are you sure this is the time and place?’ After sending her mother a quick text, she received a quick response. To which she immediately sent back another text asking why her mother was up so early, the time difference being 15 hours and all. She tucked away her phone and pushed the gate, its delicate designs were clean and seemed polished frequently. No rust to be felt or seen.
The gate opened. (Y/N) made her way in and entered the building. She looked at the long halls with intricate swirls and flowers. Her hand brushed against the walls, all the grooves, dips and rises left her amused. Empty hallways left her wandering to find the administration. She met with a woman in uniform who directed her to travel to another, similar building that curled around a large garden area.
All this walking left (Y/N) exhausted. She put on a brave face after meeting a woman and handing in papers of her transfer to this huge academy. The woman passed her a map and circled in blue pen her classrooms along with the schedule she would have to follow. (Y/N) asked the woman if she could tour the building herself and find her classrooms. Said woman nodded and pointed her in the direction of the closest classroom.
And so, the adventure begins.
-
It didn’t take long, (Y/N) decided to take a break and look out at the sun’s beaming rays. Opening the window to feel the wind outside. She took a look at the schedule and took a mental note of when everything would begin and end. Around the nearby corner, she heard the click of shoes.
‘I thought school had ended by now, are there still students out?’ (Y/N) looked to the side, silently watching the corner as she leaned onto the window sill. Turning the corner was a beautiful woman with red hair, it almost looked like it could have been dyed the color it was. However, (Y/N) knew colored hair was against the school’s ‘dress’ code. Her hair must’ve looked red in the light.
If (Y/N) were to describe the colors the girl had… Sangria red hair. Gunmetal blue eyes. Cream colored skin. (Y/N) inwardly wondered if the girl were model, her skin was without any blemishes and she had such sharp eyes. They really matched her. She was beautiful.
“You’re beautiful.” (Y/N) said, shooting the girl a smile while staying where she was. The girl looked very regal, like she could be nobility from long ago. (Y/N) watched the girl quietly approach. Straightening from her position, she watched as the Reddie ignored her and kept walking. Just as she was about to pass her by, (Y/N) finally noticed the bag she was holding. “Do you need help with that?”
She couldn’t help but notice how a look of repulsion shot across Reddie’s face. After deliberating the idea in silence, her eyes finally turned to (Y/N). Their eyes met. The look in that girl’s eyes shot fire down (Y/N)’s veins. Ah, a familiar feeling.
“Here.” Reddie tossed the bag at (Y/N). Said girl caught the bag and held it to her chest.
“Where were you headed? I’ll carry it for you–” Just as (Y/N) was speaking, the student interrupted her.
“Nevermind.” She made a grab for the bag, her eyes staring out the window that remained open beside (Y/N). It didn’t take long to connect the dots, (Y/N)’s arms went with the motion of the bag. Her grip stayed on the bag. However, the bag was heavy with books and so (Y/N) ended up clutching the bag as it dangled in her arms out the window.
Reddie’s eyes widened as (Y/N) continued to hold the bag in her hands. “What are you doing!? Let go!” Her hands went to grab at (Y/N)’s shoulders, to tug the girl in. “You might fall, let it go!”
“Hah!? What are you doing? Tossing a bag outside the window– ugh–” (Y/N) lifted the bag back in with her and tried to clutch it to her chest. Reddie made another grab for the bag, (Y/N) shifted in place. Dodging the attempt. “Is this even yours? Why are you carrying it!”
“It’s none of your business what I do! You don’t even go here!” Reddie was stronger than she seemed, shoving (Y/N) against the window, trying to shove the bag out of her arms.
“It’ll soon be my business…” (Y/N) said this while struggling, the bag opened after another harsh tug. In order to evade another attack, she lifted the bag above her head, facing the brunt of the attack to her chest. “OW, MOTHER–”
“Fu…” before (Y/N) could finish swearing, Reddie’s hand shot up and popped the bag out of (Y/N)’s grasp. It went flying out the window, the contents spilling into a pond that lay underneath the windows.
“Don’t bother, that commoner deserved it anyway. Ha!” Reddie brushed some of her hair behind her shoulder in a swift but elegant motion. She turned on her heel and walked the way she came. Her eyebrows knit together with mixed emotions, (Y/N) stood there until the girl was out of sight before looking back down at the bag that lay in the water. She looked around and decided to go down there and try to fix what happened.
‘What just happened!’
