Ready to begin, let the wonder take hold
Feel it draw you in, watch the moment unfold
Spark a dream that we're meant to follow
Setting out for a new tomorrow
The curtain is swept away to reveal more than they could have ever dreamed. The room and its perverted purpose fade away in the egg’s soft glow, and so does every choice and motive and dream they chased here. The past is an echo, but they’re not doomed to repeat it.
Every step we take, brings a new hope, a new day
Every choice we make helps us find our own way
Every wish finally put into motion
Diving in with our hearts wide open
There’s smoke in the air and war on the wind the first time they lock eyes as allies and equals. The violent history and vicious pain of a divided continent separate them where they stand three feet apart in a cobblestone courtyard, the children of three shattered families bound together by tragedies known and unknown. And yet they’re the ones to take the steps no one had dared for an age.
The story comes alive, when we look inside
A new adventure there in your eyes
It's just beginning, feel your heart beat faster
Reach out and find your happily ever after
The cries of his former friends drown beneath each beat of the phoenix’s wings, as the hand on his shoulder turns him towards the friendship born from the ashes.
The world is far below, and if their worries have followed them to the heavens, they can scatter them to the wind. He doesn’t have to listen to those who say he’ll fail. She doesn’t have to listen to the treacherous voice inside.
He’s holding on too tight. She’s letting go too easily.
Now we're on our way, leave our fears behind us
Not so far away from the dreams that live inside us
Moving down this road we've chosen
There's no limit to where we're going
The storm above churns inside each of them—he’s grasping desperately for the magic he tasted oh so briefly, and she’s trying to deny the truth rising from a feeling in her belly to a catch in her lungs to the beat of her heart.
But lightning splits the sky, illuminating what she already knew.
It won’t be long before he sees it, too.
The story comes alive, when we look inside
A new adventure there in your eyes
It's just beginning, feel your heart beat faster
Reach out and find your happily ever after
It’s not a statue. It’s a monster that loved, a father that slaughtered. A monument of hate, of a cycle that brings nothing but death, looming over the sun-dappled wildflower fields where armies will fall.
But there’s moss on its flanks and flowers in the cracks. Beauty in the wake of destruction. Roots can break stone, if they stand their ground.
Can you wish something never happened, even if it made you who you are?
Can you hate someone for all they took from you, and still love what you’ve found because of them?
The battles, the stories
The losses and all the glories
She decides, but not out of pride. She decides, but not out of shame.
She decides out of love.
She decides—even if her heart is breaking, because she knows.
We're changed by the way
We live every day
She jumps, but she doesn’t let go.
Just look up and reach to the sky
He screams. One heartbeat. Two. Three, and he follows—how could he not?
He breathes, and the terror leaves him. He breathes, and he knows.
He breathes, and the magic is there. It always was.
We all have the courage to fly
It was never something to be grasped. It is something to embrace.
The story comes alive, when we look inside
A new adventure there in your eyes
It's just beginning, feel your heart beat faster
Reach out and find your happily ever after
He tells her. And she says it back.
Reach out and find your happily ever after
Reach out and find your happily ever after
