Suddenly...
"What the hell?" yells Dean. "Cas, you pick now to show your wings? Really?"
"I am sorry, Dean," Cas tried to explain. "This is not me. I am trying to send them back but something is keeping them here. Please stop touching them."
"How?" Sam wheezed. "I'm crushed against the wall by your wing. Just let me squeeze past." He was able to get turned around so that he was now facing the wing. If he could just maneuver around it. Sam gripped Cas’ left wing and tried to push it away from him. He was shocked at how sharp the vanes were and yet they yielded to his touch. He leaned in close to examine them and was taken by the soft layer underneath. He inhaled and his senses were overwhelmed by an enticing aroma. His stomach fluttered.
"Sam, stop, please," Cas gasped and shuddered.
"Come on man, squeeze them in or something," Dean was frustrated and strangely aroused, he wanted to shift away but could not move. He never thought feathers would be so soft and sharp at the same time. He had to stop himself from threading his fingers through them. Dean unconsciously wiggled his fingers in under the prickly barbs and felt the fluffy down underneath the flight feathers. He felt a stirring in his belly and a burning in his groin. He shifted to stifle the effect on his body, but at the same time he pressed in closer. Dean buried his nose into the wing and breathed in deep. He smelled Cas, a cool bite of ice, the tang of iron, and something he could not pinpoint: flowers, grass, ocean…
"Dean," Cas was nearly breathless, "just... don't... I-I can’t-” Cas’ breath hitched, he needed to get away. He struggled but his wings were being held in place. He was captured between the Winchesters who were both in the thrall of his Angel wings. He did not know how to disengage, every time he shifted the brothers moved with him.
Sam had been doing the same thing as Dean, threading his fingers under the flight feathers and gently stroking the down and skin underneath. He had some experience with birds but nothing compared to this. He rubbed his face in Cas' wings and smelt o freshly chopped wood, oxidized metal, fragrant vegetation, and something akin to ozone or was it the scent of the ocean, or maybe the forest right after a rain. Instead of trying to get out from his pinned position, he snuggled up to the amazing wing. It was not even on his weirdness radar that he was getting more and more aroused.
“Sam, please,” Cas was begging now. They did not understand what they were doing to him. He could not stop the sensations, they were too intense. He knew exactly what was happening and was helpless to stop it. The brush of calloused fingers on his delicate skin was sending jolts of electric waves through his body. He was able to slide his left wing up and away from Sam. “Please Sam, you can move away.”
When the wing in his grasp lifted away, Sam was instantly saddened. He stepped in close now that he was on the inside and let his hands roam to the base of Cas’ wing. He made a noncommittal noise at Cas’ request but did nothing to comply. He felt the Angel jump as he massaged the muscles that attached the wings to the back. Sam could hear Cas’ breath speed up which in turn made Sam’s as well. He alternately ruffled and smoothed the feathers causing shivers in both men. Sam felt the wing wrap around him as he continued to caress.
After Cas pulled his left wing free, he felt Sam move; he was then able to pull his right wing from Dean’s grasp. He was not expecting Sam to step in close to him nor was he expecting Dean to yelp and chase after his right wing. Cas was hoping that once they were no longer touching him that they would come to their senses. However, he did not allow for how little time he had to get away. Sam was now pressed to his left side fondling the most sensitive of places and Dean was moving in as well. Cas could not stop himself, he pulled Sam in close and reveled in the luxury of his touch.
Dean felt a momentary loss. He cried out in sadness then reached for the feathers. The inside was even more enthralling. He could not pull his hands away, any more than he could chop off his own head. Dean ruffled the feathers and smoothed them down. He was amazed at how they instantly fell back into place. He roamed up and down the arm, was that what it was called, wing, shaft, he did not care as long as he could feel the wondrous softness of the down and alternating roughness of the protective feathers. He felt the muscles move under the skin and pondered the mechanics of how Angels flexed to get just their wings to move. He never really cared about it before but now he could not keep his hands off to think of anything else.
Cas gripped both men by the arms and pulled, however, he was having an issue with his strength. He could barely move them. They easily brushed him off and went back to their ministrations. Dean now had his right arm wrapped around his torso and was working his hand under his shirt. Sam was now nuzzling his hair and had one of his hands caressing the side of his face and down his neck. Cas concentrated on breathing but he was losing the battle. He tightened his wings around the men.
"Sam," Castiel breathed, "Dean… you need…" he whispered, his mind spinning with emotions, running on instinct. A low rumble rolled deep in his throat he could not suppress. Lips slid against his and he hungrily kissed that warm mouth, a moan escaped.
"What the hell?" Bobby yelled, staring dumbfounded at the sight in his upstairs hallway.
Sam jumped, pulling Cas' hair and some of his downy feathers out. He stumbled away and shook his head.
"I don't…" Sam blinked and focused on Cas, Dean, and finally Bobby. "We were…" He could not articulate his thoughts as they were still tangled up in those magnificent wings.
Dean released Cas' mouth and he too fell back. He licked his lips, still tasting Cas. He nearly tripped over his own feet trying to get far from the Angel. His face flushed red as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Nothing. Cas was…" Dean looked to the Angel and wanted to reach out again. "We didn't…"
Cas grunted, stumbling backward as the support of the Winchesters left him. He stretched his wings back with a rustle, momentarily fluffing them before making them go back to where they were supposed to be.
"My apologies, I seem to have been compelled to manifest my wings." Cas frowned as he pondered what could have caused it.
"I don't want to know, but y'all do NOT do that again. Here. In my house. Ever." Bobby turned around and left.
Dean followed trying not to think about how hard he was.
Sam cleared his throat and was doing the same thing.
Cas frowned wondering if he really did want them to stop.
