bubble pop!

Summary:

minho finds jisung listening to a hyuna song and hasn't let him live it down since.

Notes:

basically a summer camp au with your two fav homos.

Chapter Text

jisung dropped his bag on the black pavement, which he knew was most likely already scorching hot, and would melt his bag any day now.

the day started as usual, talking with his closest friend hyunjin. in reality, hyunjin was the only one that tolerated him. every year, when they came back tot his dreadful camp, he was there waiting for him with a smile. they clicked in the oddest way possible, as they constantly fought but loved each other very much.

"any more songs written, you emo freak?" hyunjin asked while sitting on the table top with his legs crossed. he soon got yelled at by a counselor, as he did every year.

jisung rolled his eyes, taking out his notebook. "yes, i have, thank you very much." hyunjin pulled out his phone to see it was about 8:30, a half hour left until camp started. the large blue and white tent over the picnic tables was filled with kids already, bouncing around as they dug their sneakers into the rocks. hyunjin observed this, it was his favorite scene. he loved summer, and he loved coming to this camp. unlike jisung.

"don't you think it's odd that theres rocks under these tables instead of mulch or something? kids could kill themselves with these."

"i wish they would" jisung grumbled, getting slapped on the head lightly.

"i wish you'd stop being so grumpy. its summer! the first day of freedom, my dearest friend."

"its not my fault my parents force me to come to this stupid camp."

"you're in teen camp this year! isn't that exciting to you?"

"you act like you're not only a year older than me. besides, whats so different about teen camp? its the same experience with older, uglier kids."

"there's also field trips, swimming in the lap pool, getting to absolutely demolish kids in gaga. super fun."

"its also 100 dollars more expensive."

"i can never win with you."

"hyunjin! get off that table!"

"yes, miss yasmin." he mocked. he was close enough with all of the counselors to joke with them.

"ooh, do you think changbins coming back this year?"

"oh god, you still like him?"

"he's cute okay! plus he told me last year he likes me back."

"yeah, on the last day. hes a coward."

"i think its endearing. oh my god, there he is!"

"seungmin and friends are already here, though, he'll probably go sit over there."

"you're so negative! hes so cute, look at him."

jisung turned his head to look at the sign in tent, where changbin was signing himself in. most kids has parents sign them in, but changbin had a special note or something because of his parents work. he walked there most days.

"i dont know why anyone would go through such trouble just to come to this camp."

"to see me, obviously."

soon it was 9 am and everyone made their way to the benches, where the day would start.

"welcome back to camp everyone! i hope you've all had a great year, we all missed you so much. we'll start as usual with the 5-6s, then 7-8s, 9-10s, lego camp, cheer camp, pre-teen camp, then teen camp. for 5-6s, your counselor is ms. erin and mr. jordan."

the two mentioned counselors came up to call out their list, the kids making their way to them from the benches. this is how every age group would go.

"we should've gone to lego camp" hyunjin said, elbowing jisung's side. the blonde laughed at that one, for the first time all day.

"okay, teen camp. your counselors are ms. jade and ms. sarah."

hyunjin and jisung groaned in unison. "not that white bitch again."

"maya brown! hyunjin hwang! janilyz echiveria! bryan marks! zachary dupont! khali ortiz! julia brann! jisung han!" each camper stood up when mentioned and made their way behind the two ladies. there weren't too many people in teen camp as it was 15-17, and not many teens wanted to go to teen camp.

"and minho lee! our first stop is lower camp, so let's go!"

"that was so painful. did you hear how she pronounces my name? heeyunjeen" jisung laughed along with him, they weren't the only koreans there but it was primarily white and hispanic people in their area.

seungmin, changbin and minho were the only other koreans their age, but seungmin was half filipino as well.

they made their way down to the woods in lower camp, and jisung immediately regretted not bringing bug spray.

"did you loose your bugspray?"

"yeah, im being viciously attacked by bugs right now. filthy insects!" he screamed degrading words at the bugs as if they could hear him.

"here just take some of mine." jisung thanked hyunjin for his quality bug spray and put it on once they finished the trail down to the main area. it had logs to sit on and a stage made of wood to make what looked like a small auditorium. a nature one.

"so, since its the first day we should do some ice breakers! how about we go in a circle and say our names, our favorite colors, and one fact about ourselves."

"thats so boring." hyunjin murmured, not loud enough for the counselor to hear.

"my names ms. jade, my favorite color is purple, and i have 4 dogs. your turn!"

"im maya, i don't have a favorite color, and i hate anything with a dick."

"preach" hyunjin laughed, fistbumping her even though they were across the circle from each other.

"nothing vulgar, please." ms. sarah said, asking the next girl to go.

"my names khali, my favorite color is green, and im nonbinary. so yeah use they/them pronouns unless you want me to shoot you!"

"what the hell is a nonbinary?" bryan asked, he mustve been about 16 by now.

"i think it means not a girl or a boy, right khali?" ms jade asked. they nodded, confirming the definition.

"your gender is what's between your pants, genius. no such thing."

"then my gender would be your mom, bryan marks."

"ookay! lets move on. janilyz?"

"hi im janilyz, my favorite color is pink, and im actually 14 so if any of you seventeen year olds come directly near me i will file a report."

"im hyunjin, my favorite color is red, and me and jisung are dating."

"my names jisung, my favorite color is black, and me and hyunjin are not dating."

"it was worth a try." hyunjin sighed.

"i'm lee minho, my favorite color is blue i guess, i hate waking up every day."

"im kim seungmin, colors are pointless, and i am wanted in 3 countries."

"funny joke, seungmin." sarah said sarcastically.

"i'm zachary and my favorite color is orange, im sexy and single."

"no one is dating you if your favorite color is orange" hyunjin mumbled.

"julia here, favorite color is black, and i hate white people."

hyunjin threw up a thumb's-up of agreement, letting out a "so true". the rest of the circle went, and hyunjin got bored very quickly.

"did you notice minho's voice got a lot deeper? he's hot now." hyunjin whispered, too close to jisung's ear. maybe his voice was a little above a whisper.

"its not..that much deeper. he's always been-"

"you think i'm hot, han?" jisung turned his head and glared back at the boy.

"i was going to say ugly, dipshit."

"stop lying to yourself"

"i want to hang you."

"boys! no more, please. our circle is now over, yes? we're going to play camoflauge. who wants to be it?"

"jisung wants to be it, miss!" hyunjin said, making jisung throw his face in his hands out of embarrassment.

"okay, jisung, stand over here and count to 30. if you don't know the rules, jisung here will count as everyone hides, and he has to stay here and find people just by looking. if you don't know someones name, say the color of their shirt or clothes. once he can't find anyone else, he yells camouflage and everyone thats still hiding comes out and tries to touch him first. yes? start counting!"

he did as told, counting quietly.

"ginger bitch, i see you!" the kid stepped out sadly from behind the tree to go sit on the logs.

soon, he found all the people he could and yelled out camouflage. only about 5 people came sprinting out from behind trees and equipment, the closest one to him happened to be lee minho, who made a point to hit him on the ass as he flew by.

"minho's it now!" the counselor declared, asking jisung to step down.

"he just touched my ass!"

"oops, couldn't see too well when i was running." minho winked, getting a gag in return.

after playing games in the woods, it was archery time, which was still in lower camp in the woods.

jisung hated archery, frankly, while hyunjin loved it. so he was often left to sit by himself on a bench. he forgot his phone in his bag, but hyunjin had his, so he let jisung play on it while he was busy.

he plugged his earphones into his ears and took advantage of his friend's spotify premium, putting on his favorite songs in a queue. hyuna's "Bubble Pop!" came on, and he had to stop himself from jumping up and dancing.

just then he felt the bench rock a bit as someone else sat down.

"what're you listening to, jisungie?" minho. he felt hands grab at his headphones and slapped the hand away.

"leave me alone, god."

he didn't give up, though, grabbing hyunjin's phone.

" 'bubble pop'..? seriously?" jisung didn't look like it but right in that moment he wanted to suck himself up into a ball and go underground for the rest of his life. he hated this camp.

minho fell to the floor with laughter, his eyes brimmed with tears as he slapped the bench.

"it is not that funny."

"you show up every day covered in black and listen to fucking hyuna? thats so funny!" he said through more giggle fits, trying to wipe the dirt from his pants.

jisung opted not to say anything in response and just let him have his fun so he'd leave once it was no longer amusing.

"you are going to be the death of me, han jisung." he said while dramatically wiping his tears and going back to his friends.

jisung took his earphones out and decided to listen to everything around him, picking up on a conversation nearby.

"why do you like that emo kid? is it 'cause you're both *c slur that i cant write but just imagine it here yeah*s?"

"no, bryan, hes just fun to mess with."

"what did you just call me?" jisung said without thinking about it first. he'd probably regret getting in a fight with the rich white kid who owns everything in sight, but he decided he needed some entertainment for the time being, and hyunjin wasn't there to stop him. yet.

"a *C SLUR THAT I STILL CANT SAY*. thats what i called you. gonna cry?"

"you wish. i can tell, you're jealous, you know."

"jea-jealous? of what? you?"

"no, not me. you're jealous that your friend talks to me. every year you look upset when people talk to me. do you take me for an idiot?"

"y-yes, actually."

"you're stuttering, love. at least try to hide it when you have a crush on someone." with that, jisung turned back around and started to play his beloved hyuna again. everyone around him was shocked, apparently no one had the intellect to put two and two together.

lunch came faster than usual, and jisung was so ready to eat. he and hyunjin traded a few things before eating like they always did. they were also obligated to sit with the group on the benches, even if jisung wanted to get time away from them.

suddenly, minho came and sat down right in front of jisung with his lunch in hand.

"who invited you?"

"hyunjin did. what have you got there?"

[italics is korean, normal writing is english.]

"nothing, just shit my mom makes. you?"

"yeah, same. can hyunjin speak korean?"

"what are you guys saying, i heard my name!"

"he asked if you can speak korean."

"of course i can't. i was born here, my dad married a white hoe and know i never get to experience my culture!"

"i see. how did you know bryan likes you?"

"so thats what you came here to talk about?"

"yes, partly."

"about two years ago, one of his friends that doesn't go here anymore told me. i thought he got over it by now, but i guess not. why, he's told you?"

"he hinted at it. what an odd couple you'd be."

"i would never date him!"

"sure you wouldn't. imagine little bryan and jisung's running around~"

"i feel so left out! all i can say in korean is yes~ thank you~ no~ 1 2 3~ i love you~~"

jisung laughed, at both what minho said and hyunjin's poor korean.

"so, what else did you want to ask?"

"if you liked him back."

"i don't, and why would you want to know?"

".. he told me to ask."

"would you be jealous if i did?" jisung wriggled his eyebrows suggestively, getting a scoff in response.

"in your dreams, han." he said, while walking away.

"can you please tell me what you were saying now!"

"talking about bryan, thats all."

"you got along, like really well. thats so weird. to see you not fighting."

"whatever. lunch is almost over, we should clean up. you got orange peel all over the ground, again, jinnie."

"whoops!"

the day was almost over, and their last activity was swim. god, how jisung dreaded swim. he had to change in a room full of sweaty, wet boys and even worse, he had to actually swim with them! the lap pool was big, sure, but he had to be practically naked in front of other kids his age. not ideal. he wished he could skip out on swim, but his parents and hyunjin always forced him.

him and hyunjin changed in the same stall, because there wasn't many free ones, and they'd already established a long time ago that they didn't see each other in a sexual manner at all. so it wasn't awkward or anything.

jisung attempted to cover himself with his towel until they got to the pool deck, but the second before they went in he saw minho walk in with his friends, completely shirtless and abs exposed.

"are you drooling?"

he snapped out of it, looking back at hyunjin with a small, but noticeable blush.

"oh my god, you were checking out minho!"

he covered hyunjin's mouth with his hand quickly, which was an odd sight because hyunjin was significantly taller.

jisung seriously couldn't keep his eyes off of minho the entire time they swam, no matter how hard he tried. the second hyunjin stopped talking, or disappeared underwater, his eyes immediately scanned for minho. wow. that was the only thing jisung could think. did he find minho just the slightest bit attractive? maybe. it was probably just his head.

his hair even looked good wet. that was so unfair.

he was sure minho hadn't noticed, he was far too distracted with his friends to realize someone was staring at him for way too long.

"okay, i get you're in love with minho, but can we please go dive off of the block? pleaaase?"

"yes, fine. and im not in love with anyone!"

jisung changed back into his clothes quicker than hyunjin, and basically everyone else, making his way to the main area of the locker room. he waited by the blue lockers, when minho walked over right in front of him and asked him to move over, since he needed something from his locker and jisung was blocking it.

the thing was, he was only wearing his boxers. nothing else. jisung's eyes bulged out of his head, moving away quickly so minho could leave as soon as possible.

why was jisung seeing him like this? he's known minho for almost 6 years, since they were just kids. he never liked the older in a serious way and certainly had never gotten hard because he saw him (almost) naked. thank god the day was over.

when they walked back outside to the benches, jisung maintained a good distance from the elder, though that wasn't solving his problem. his mom was working late today too, so he still had to sit there for about 2 hours until he could go home and be alone. hopefully, minho would just go home sooner and at least save him that much embarrassment.

hyunjin always left at exactly 4 though, so this was the only time he wouldn't be able to rely on his best friend. how convenient.

he took out his own phone and earbuds this time, listening to f(x) this time instead. was it 2020? yes. did he love k-pop songs from 10 years ago? yes. very much so.

"listening to hyuna again?" minho asked sitting again inches away from jisung.

"nope, f(x)."

"how charming." jisung gave a mock smile, then went to move his phone under his thighs so it can't be stolen again. this meant he took his arms off of his lap, and his.. problem, was revealed. to minho. he didn't realize it because minho remained calm, he even smiled.

"why are you smiling?"

"is that because of me?"

"what?" jisung noticed he was staring right at the tent in his pants.

"what the hell is wrong with you? its just..random."

"sure it is. randomly right after i walked in front of you naked, right?

"so you planned this."

"not necessarily. looks like it worked out, though."

"you're so full of yourself. i just want to listen to my music in peace."

"you obviously can't, not with that. i mean sheesh."

"could you stop staring at my dick for gods sake?"

jisung's chin was lifted forcefully, making him stare directly into minho's eyes.

"do you want me to help?"

"i hate your guts."

"you want to kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid."

"boys, please don't touch each other." oh yeah, the poor counselor is still there.

"is it because we're gay? are you homophobic, sarah? that's homophobic, sarah."

"no one is allowed to touch each other, no matter if its gay or not. okay, minho?"

minho shook his head, tsk-ing.

there were other kids as well, but they were in a different area. in fact, at that moment, two girls came up to the counselor and asked her to take them inside to the bathroom. she agreed, leaving the two campers completely alone.

"well?"

"well what? you're not right in the head."

"that's not a no"

"we're out on benches in the middle of a field, with kids everywhere."

"there's no one under the tent, and tim always lets older kids go over there. we're old enough to trust, yes?"

"you definitely aren't."

"i'll take that as a yes. ill go ask tim now, go wait under the tent and make yourself pretty for me."

jisung scoffed, but he couldn't stop his legs from walking in that direction. fuck, what is he doing?

after a few short minutes, minho was in front of him again, making sure jisung could see in any direction in case someone came.

"is this pretty enough for you?" jisung made a mock pose, with his hands at his face and a weird facial expression that was most likely meant to be like in an old painting.

"gorgeous." minho said, his arm running from jisung's hair down to hold his neck.

"how long have you wanted to fuck me, exactly?"

"just a few years."

"horny since 7th grade?"

"precisely. what about you?"

"since this morning."

"fair. can i touch you?"

jisung nodded, his heart leaping into his throat. what was happening? why was everything going so fast?

minho did as he promised, forcing himself closer to suck small marks onto jisung's neck. his hands lifted the shirt up, squeezing at his small waist.

jisung whimpered slightly, wriggling under his touch. his hands glided down to pull at the waistband of jisung's jeans, unbuttoning them quickly and dragging them down.

"you're leaking, jisungie" minho snickered, lowering himself to his knees.

"i doubt you're any better, you asshole" jisung whined. his hands tugged at minho's hair.

he didn't have time to feel exposed or insecure, the counselor would return in 5 minutes and they couldn't afford suspension.

he quickly felt minho's mouth surrounding him, an explicable feeling. he whined at the pressure, whispering small praises that made minho gasp around him.

he looked up into jisungs eyes, slightly teary and red, jisung groaned loudly, throwing his head back. he'd only experienced this once before, but this was much, much better. he could tell minho had experience, for some odd reason.

"hurry, they're gonna come o-out soon.." jisung's words were spaced out, his head was too foggy to speak.

"hurry, hurry, hurry-ah!" his head got so messed up in fact, he slipped into korean. finally, he made his last scream of pleasure as he released into minho's mouth. he probably should've asked first, but he couldn't have pushed out another single coherent thought.

minho swallowed every last drop, again, another thing that left jisung speechless.

"we have to stop here, i see the girls coming out of the building." jisung said slightly panicked, picking up his loose jeans and fixing himself. he looked down to wipe the extra liquid off of minho's chin as well.

"are you okay?" he asked, minho nodded with a smile.

"boys? minho, get off the ground, please. you'll dirty your pants."

"yes, misses sarah~" he stood up, dusting his pants off while making eye contact with the counselor.

"you're so weird, minho." she grumbled, taking the two little girls back to their tent in the field.

the two boys followed her, and jisung's mom arrived right then. as the car circled around the field to the exit, and jisung's eyes stayed on minho until he was out of sight.
