As soon as Todoroki turned 18, he looked into different methods to piss his father off. One of which, involved his best friend.

When Sero looked outside of his shitty little apartment, he saw Todoroki in a Mercedes-Benz, his dad's car probably, giving him a hopeful stare with those bi-colored eyes while walking towards Sero.
"Fake date me." Todoroki said, finally stopping
"What the fuck." Sero said with a full body blush covering his entire body.
"Just for a couple of months, Sero, please." Todoroki said while Sero backed away a few feet into his apartment.
"No I mean, what the fuck, why?" He said as his long-time crush/best friend walked into his apartment.
"Because you're literally the perfect person to piss my dad off." Todoroki said while looking Sero up and down.
"Thanks for the compliment, Roki." Sero deadpanned.
"No problem, but seriously fake date me."
Sero sighed. He knows this isn't gonna end well for his heart.
"Fine. But what are my benefits? I gotta benefit from this."
"Thank you! Benefits? Ah! I'll let you use Endeavors credit card whenever you want."
"You got yourself a deal, Roki!"
And so began the 'piss endeavor off' plan.
"I've been meaning to ask, what is in your backseat?" Sero questioned after seeing multiple boxes piled on top of each other in the backseat.
"Oh all my stuff from my dad's house." Todoroki said as if he'd been asked if he breaths air.
"What?! You're moving in?!" Sero exclaimed while looking back at his one room one bathroom apartment.
"Uh yeah. Duh. I had already packed everything by the time I turned 18." He said, while moving to get boxes from the car.
"Damn it." Sero cursed under his breath. "Let me help." He sighed while working his strong, mechanic arms to life two boxes at once.
Soon, the new (fake) couple had all of Todoroki's boxes in the cramped apartment.

In all honesty, Hanta should've seen this coming. He has piercing, tattoos and smoked. He's the stereotypical bad boy that every parent disapproves of. And Shoto is the definition of rebellious child. Always wanting to piss off his dad one way or the other. Hanta even helped sometimes. But he never wouldn't imagined this. Not in a million years.
He knows what Shoto (He said to call him that now) wants from him. He knows very well what Shoto wants from him

"I want to piss off my parents, so I'm gonna date you to scare them. Show 'em I'm all grown up. He hates long hair and tattoos, so I'm in luck." Sero knows it's just a phase. That Shoto's not in love with him. But he wants to piss off his parents so it's alright with him. They're assholes.
He's alright with it, Hanta tries to convince himself. He doesn't have even stronger feelings when Shoto cuddles closer to him while cuddling. He doesn't wake up with morning wood after their first night of cuddling together. He tries so hard.

"Damn." Hanta cursed under his breath as he peered into the empty fridge.
"What's wrong?" Shoto questions as he walks over to where Hanta is.
"The fridge is empty, except for 3 ketchup packets and a slice of ham." Hanta says as Todoroki runs into their now shared bedroom, and comes back with his wallet.
"Use my dad's card. The pin is 2135." Shoto says as an apprehensive Hanta takes the card and shoves it into his grey sweatpants.
"Uh okay.... I'll be back..." He says as he finds a shirt to put over his head, grabs his keys and heads out the door.
Hanta hears the shutter of a camera after lighting a cigarette.
"What the fuck was that, Roki?" Hanta asks as he takes a long drag of his cigarette.
"A pic for my insta. Gotta really sell it that I'm dating a quote 'thug' unquote." Shoto said as he begins typing his caption and hashtags and then posting the picture, waiting for his notifications to blow up.
"Damn it, why didn't you let me get pretty first?" Hanta jokes as he runs a finger through his straight, long hair while taking a puff of the cig.
"But you're just fine as you are right now." Shoto said as Hanta sputters and coughs as smoke gets stuck in his throat.
"W-what the fuck, man." He says as Shoto's phone suddenly blows up with likes and comments about the hunk of a man on his post, the first one in months.
"Don't worry, babe, you're getting a pretty positive, well mostly, reaction from my followers." He says while looking over some of the comments, most consisting of:
"WHO IS THAT?!"
"WHATS HIS INSTA??"
"DO YOU NEED A DOG, MISTER, BECAUSE I CAN BARK"
"AWOOGAAAAAA"
"GUYS WJAT IF HES TODOROKI'S BF??"
"PLEASE CRUSH M E WITH YOUR BICEPS IM BEGGING 💥💥💳💳💥💥💳💥"
While most were flattering, there had to be some hateful comments, for the sun cannot shine without shadows.
"What the fuck. Are you dating him? That's disgusting."
"Ew."
"He isn't even that hot."
To which Todoroki deleted. But then he was THE comment.
"Who is that?" Commented from @enjitodoroki, his father.
This is gonna be fun, Shoto thought as he walked over to where Hanta is and all of a sudden kissed him on the lips.
Hanta's eyes grew up to 3 sizes as Shoto pulled away after taking a quick photo of them kissing.
"What the fuck?!" Hanta says while his head grows dizzy with embarrassment and slight lust. He tasted like grapes. Hanta loves grapes.
"My father commented, "Who is that?". Had to show him and my following."
"Give me a fucking warning first!" He says while stumbling into their bedroom to sleep for the rest of his life. Anything to keep him from wanting to kiss Shoto again.
"Alright I'll tell you next time." Shoto says, unaffected from what just happened.

He should know by now. Shoto doesn't have feelings for him. He only wants to make his parents mad. That's it. But why does it still hurt? He should've seen it coming. He knows what Shoto wants from him.

A few months after Shoto's insta post, they finally decide to call this 'relationship' off. Hanta's glad, but what does he do with his heavy heart? What /can/ he do with it? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Shoto's still gonna live with him, he's still gonna have feelings for Shoto... Fuck. He's doomed. But hey, Shoto's just 18. It's a phase. It'll wear off.
