"Gukie what do you want to be presented later, tell me?"
Jungkook looked up at this boxy smile friend. "Hm i always liked Omegas the most, they smell really good and their body's are softer and delicate, it's also cool that they can have pups! And you Taetae?"
"Alpha definitely, they are strong and smart, protect their family or Mate, want to be like them." he sighs caressing the hair of his best friend that was currently laying on his lap.
"Promise you come when you find out, i want to be the first to know!" Taehyung insists.
Jungkook smiled up at him, he was sure that whatever was coming, they always will be together. He took Tae's arm with his bracelet they made as kids and held it up so he could put his arm right on top of him, linking their hands together. "Promise Taetae."

"Tae, you coming? You will come late to work, we have to be on time, they will decide who joins the business trip!" Jimin his best friend urged him to move.
Taehyung sighs, fidgeting with his bracelet, Jimin noticed his expression. "Did you have that dream again?" he asked softer this time.
"When will it stop Jiminie, it's been so long already, he didn't want to see me again so why can't I get it out of my head." he groaned annoyed.
"Because you knew him since you two were baby's, you grew up with him and of course it hurted when he disappeared out of nowhere that fucker. But it's been five years now, you know your father will not be pleased to know that you still think about him." his friend said patting his shoulder.
Taehyung nodded, he didn't want to make him angry so he quickly changed into his clothes, a quick look at the mirror telling him that this was definitely not him, his suit two numbers to big, like the shirt, his hair not styled like he would do.
"We can go now." he said not looking at the mirror again. "Wait, we almost forgot." he said hugging Taehyung and nuzzling his head onto Tae's neck, scenting him. "Oh yes true, it's fading again, thanks."
"No problem, now let's go before your father scolds us again." Jimin rolled his eyes and went out with him.
Meanwhile Jungkook arrived at the airport from Seoul, he looked around for his friend to pick him up, he wasn't here in years he thought. "Guk, here we are, you look good!" Namjoon approached him, Seokjin right beside him.
"I'm glad seeing you again, looking good yourselves." he smiled at them, noticing their Mating mark. "I know I'm handsome, excited for our business trip?" Seokjin asked taking a bag from the younger.
"Not really, I just hope it doesn't take too long, want to fly back home as soon as possible" he said, he was nervous to be back here, to think about a certain person.
"It's just for four days, don't worry. Let's eat something before our flight comes, i can't wait to be there, four beautiful days in Busan, the beach, the weather it must be so amazing!" Namjoon smiles excited.
They went into a small airport restaurant, having small talk and talking about their deals they wanted to make. When their conversation drifted to more personal things Jungkook subconsciously touched his bracelet.
"But why are you still single, I heard from your parents you put every proposal down and that's quite a lot." Jin then asked.
"Oh, don't know, the right person wasn't with them i guess." he shrugged.
"Is that why you don't show your scent, i don't even know your rank and know you for three years already, you are mysterious when it comes to your rank."
"I just don't see the point of knowing it, it doesn't change anything about who i am right, i could be a beta or Alpha, and it's still me." he answered. The others both nodded in agreement.
"Right, i was happy this guy here was bumping into me and more than happy to notice his scent right babe?" Namjoon said holding his Omegas hand, Jin smiled at him with a soft expression. "I'm still thinking that you might be a Beta, i mean you have to many muscles to be an Omega but I never saw you getting protective over someone or that you would look for your mate, so yes Beta." Seokjin concluded
Jungkook just smiled, finishing his snack so they could get on the plain. The flight wasn't really bad, he could sleep a bit, his thoughts drifting away again, wondering how HE has been doing, if he has found a Mate he loves, having a family on his own.
He still remembers the day he found out about his rank like it was yesterday...

Jungkook was knocking on the door he knows so well, almost jumping around. Taehyung's father opened the door, looking at him before he could smell it, his rank obviously changed his scent.
"Good morning Jungkook, I see you got presented, that's great news." he said crossing his arms in front of him.
"Thanks Sir, is Taetae home? I want to tell him too."
"He isn't no, went out with his other friend Jimin, wanted to celebrate his rank, got presented as Alpha yesterday." He told him.
Jungkook eyes widened a moment, his smile falter. He became an Alpha like he wanted he thought but why doesn't he feel happy about it, why does his heart feel like breaking apart.
"I let him know that you were here, he probably be out until later today, now that he knows his rank, Taehyung can look for an Omega to get as Mate."
"Oh yes Sir, he uhm should yes, i just can't see him for a while, my parents wanted to go on vacation and they want me to go with them, he can call me when he gets back home, doesn't matter which time." Jungkook told him.
"Will tell him yes, have fun!" Mr. Kim said before closing the door. He went back to his office room when Taehyung opened the door from the bathroom wet hair from his shower. "Who was on the door just now?" he asked carefully.
"Not your business and do something about that scent, you stink!" he glared at him, making Taehyung flinch.

Jungkook didn't heard from him that evening or the day after that and he still was upset about it, to know he didn't want him as a friend anymore after hearing they both got presented as Alphas, he knew it's forbidden to have a romantic relationship with the same rank but he thought they could still be friends at least.
He never got the chance to tell him he likes him way back, to say he loves spending time with him not just because he is his best friend but also because he was always there for him, always cheering him up with this smile and his silly jokes.
That's why he hides his scent, he doesn't want to be an Alpha, doesn't want to get reminded that he failed, if he was an Omega everything would be so much easier, if Taehyung liked him back he let him court him, let him scent him like couples would do.
He opened his eyes seeing them getting closer to Busan already, he felt better not being in Seoul anymore, to afraid to meet him again. He doesn't want to see him anyway he thought looking at the landscape of Busan.
Taehyung looked down at his hands, Jimin sitting next to him, Mr. Kim at the front desk, looking at his child like it was some sort of insect. "You behave on the trip, you will wear scent blockers or Parks scent, don't dress up to strange, don't interact with other people more than you should." he spoke.
"Yes father." Taehyung mumbled "And you don't think about doing anything wrong either or I will expose you." His dad said looking at Jimin.
"No Sir, you don't have to worry." he quickly said. "Good, you can leave, the flight is in a few hours, pack your stuff, now go out!"
Taehyung and Jimin went out of the office, no one was talking on their way down, getting inside the car. "Are you ok Jiminie?"
His friend sighs, smiling a bit. "Yes sure, we can't change it right so let's go home, we need to pack our clothes."
"I'm sorry you got pulled into this mess, I wish I could do something." Taehyung said tearing up. "Hey hey, don't worry about me, I'm fine, it was my decision to help you back then." he said wiping his tears away.
"You are strong enough Jiminie, you are an Alpha after all, n-not like me." he started crying now. "Don't ever talk bad about your rank, you are strong too, my pretty Omega best friend, my Platonic Soulmate, my fiance." he said the last word like it would taste bitter.
Both are looking at their hands, seeing their engagement rings on the finger sparkling.
"Will your boyfriend wait for you in Busan?" Taehyung asked with a small smile. "Yes, he is already there, looking for a apartment for us to rent for the time we stay there. I want you to be yourself in Busan, don't think about what your father said, pack some nice clothes you love to wear, wear your scent proudly, nobody knows who you are there anyway." Jimin smiled at him.
Taehyung nodded slowly but to afraid to agree, his father would be so angry if he found out that Taehyung didn't listen to him.
"Come on now, let's drive home, something telling me Busan will be life changing for us!" Jimin said excited, Taehyung hopes it will, touching his bracelet he got from Jungkook..
