Chapter Text
Rafael observed the older male silently, ever since he made his appearance in the village he found interest. He had survived the Lycans his grandmother had sent in the village. Of course, much to Rafael's disappointment he had lost a few fingers in the process. But it didn't bother him as much as the Lycans attacking the man. He wasn't sure what it was, but Rafael was fascinated by him. Sticking to the rooftops and keeping a distance, he had made sure to keep out of sight, the last thing he truly wanted was for him to caught on. While he had lost him making it to his aunt Alcina's castle, he decided to make his way towards the church, changing into a black wolf he met up with his other family members. The only one who was truly missing happened to be his father. It was very rare that he would be late to a meeting. The younger male wondered what was going on until he had finally made his appearance with the unconscious male. A soft bark left his lips as he walked over clearly catching the scent of him. He was definitely different than anyone else. Was he human? Rafael thought to himself. He walked back to his spot and sat down as the meeting soon began. Most of the time he would simply zone out as he really didn't care. It only made things worse when the baby had been crystalized and broken into four parts, his aunts, uncle, and father had been extremely uneasy about the entire situation, and quite frankly he was as well. Tensions have been rising for years now, and this had to have been icing on the cake.
His attention soon turned back towards the blonde-haired male, whom he learned was named Ethan Winters. Shaking his fur as he walked over sniffing Ethan, watching as he slowly began to wake up. "Don't I get a say in this?" He heard him speak towards the others. To which they ignored, this ended up initiating an argument between his father and aunt Alcina. This would prompt his grandmother to break up the fight reminding all of them that she was the one who created them. Tucking his tail between his legs as the conversation continued, eventually, his father would be the one to choose Ethan's fate. Standing up he watched as his father addressed the Lycans in the room before freeing Ethan. Rafael could not help but crouch in excitement, his tail was wagging simply waiting to give the man a running chance. As soon as his father freed Ethan, he gave him an extra five seconds before looking at his father with permission. Once the nod was given he practically jumped down the hole in the direction that the dirty blonde had gone in. He watched as the Lycans went after their 'meal.' He kept just a little behind almost stalking him. He only hesitated just a moment when he saw Urais, that Lycan alone scared the living shit out of him. He barked high tailing it after Ethan. Listening to his father's commentary he couldn't help but roll his eyes before "losing sight" of Ethan. Whining in almost disappointment at the thought of losing the man to one of his father's traps, he huffed in annoyance before making his way out of the crypt. Shaking his fur as he made his way towards his aunt's castle knowing full well that they had already left. Rafael's ears perked as he heard the sound of footsteps, at first the younger male didn't pay any mind to it until he had heard a male's voice. Lifting his head as he woke up it took him a few minutes to actually process the fact that it wasn't his father that was close by. A low growl left Rafael's lips as he stood up almost too quickly. Shaking his fur as he grounded himself at the sudden dizziness. While he was actually kind of happy to see that Ethan was still alive and kicking. It almost made him annoyed, because he did in fact know that his aunt would simply insult his father about it. He observed him silently before walking over he only showed his fangs once as if to tell him not to try anything funny. He wasn't exactly sure if the man was a threat or not.
Stopping maybe a foot away he finally shifted back into his human form. He was very thankful that his clothing had stayed intact this time. Not to mention in front of a stranger no less. His green eyes observed Ethan's face silently. From the initial shock on the blonde's face, Rafael knew that he had more than likely never seen a shifter before. That shouldn't exactly bother him, but it did for some reason. "I must say, you are something else, Mr. Winters. You escaped my father's traps virtually unscathed." He mused in wonder. Taking a step closer he practically invaded Ethan's personal space. "My aunt's not particularly gonna be happy seeing you sniffing around her home." He added concern laced his voice. "Perhaps we can make a deal?" He mused. Ethan narrowed his eyes as he watched Rafael closely, he didn't trust the man. "Why the hell do you want to help me you're on their side." He spoke suspiciously. "Yes, but we all have a common goal, my grandmother has caused a lot of problems lately, and quite frankly we're sick of it." A pause as he looked back hearing movement. "My cousins have just woke up, and they're extra hungry. I don't believe you have much of an option." He explained. He watched as Ethan contemplated the entire situation, the movement clearly made the dirty blonde male nervous. "What kind of deal, I don't even know your damn name," Ethan spoke after a few minutes. "The name is Rafael, it's simple. My cousins know better than to touch anything with my scent," he explained. "Best to decide now, because you don't have much time." Rafael hummed leaning against the wall closest to Ethan. He watched as Ethan looked towards the door wearily, what made things worse for the older man was the fact that footsteps were closing in on them. "Fine... Deal." Ethan hesitated. Rafael's grin only widened, grabbing Ethan's hand he basically pulled Ethan into a separate room, normally the Duke would set up shop here but it seemed like the bigger man wasn't here yet. "How, are we going to do this?" Ethan asked looking at the younger male taking his arm back. Rafael contemplated for a few minutes, leaning against the bookcase he looked over Ethan, he would not admit it out loud but he found Ethan to be highly attractive. "Clearly you're not going to like it. But it's the only option we have right now." He spoke pushing away closing distance between the two. He watched as Ethan took a step back furrowing his brow. "What the hell are you talking about?" Ethan asked.
Rafael didn't say another word, instead, he pulled Ethan into his arms burying his face into Ethan's neck. "What the fuck are you doing??" Ethan asked squirming in the other's grip. "You don't want my cousins to eat you. Quit squirming. They won't touch anything with my scent. Now quick fucking moving and I'll be done quicker." Rafael growled holding him tighter. Ethan hesitated but stopped moving at the explanation. Rafael relaxed a bit as he nuzzled into Ethan's neck. He only moved his face guiding Ethan backward towards one of the tables letting it hit the back of the blonde's legs. "Hook your legs around me." He stated. He watched Ethan for a few minutes giving him a chance before his impatience kicked in He manipulated Ethan's body in the position he wanted. He only took a moment to take in Ethan's confused expression before he leaned down sandwiching Ethan between him and the table. Hiding his face once again in Ethan's neck and began to roll his hips against Ethan's. He could feel the older man stiffen underneath him, he couldn't help but smirk lightly against Ethan's neck. There was an occasional grunt from Rafael but other than that he was quiet, he kept focused on the task at hand. Ethan gripped Rafael's shoulders, wondering how the hell did he agree to this? He hated to admit the friction was starting to feel good, his body was slowly betraying him. He could feel Rafael's smirk against his neck, the fucker was getting off on this. Ethan thought to himself. As much as he wanted this to continue, it was stopped far too soon for the blonde's liking. Only to yelp as he felt Rafael's teeth on his neck. "Ow, the fuck Rafael!" He hissed, a slight shiver ran through his body as he felt the man's tongue lap against the wound. Ethan hated just how much it felt good. Shooting a weak glare as Rafael finally moved away from him. "The fuck?" He huffed sitting up. Rafael simply shrugged, thankfully giving him space. "They won't want you stinking like me."
