Superwomen

Summary:

A bunch of the superwomen of the Arrowverse come to Earth-38 to help out the gang.

Notes:

I wrote this about a couple years ago for International Women's Day and decided to edit it a bit and put it here. Enjoy.

Work Text:

Dreamer brought her hands together and spread them apart, a rope of dream energy connecting them. The blue pulsing contrasted the red glow around them as she twirled it around her knuckles on each end. “Bring it.”

Supergirl and her sister looked at each other and nodded, charging forward to her from the other side of the platform. Alex got ahead and turned around to slide on her butt. With her hands clasped together, Supergirl takes the boost up into the air and going for a punch.

The dreamer smirks, taking the rope and twisting it around her wrist, sending her to the ground. “Easy.”

“Not so fast.” Before she knew it, something came in contact with her foot and she’s falling down to the raised platform with a hard thump

With a groan, her dream rope disappears. “I did forget, thank you very much.” Alarms went off around them, making Supergirl drop her stance opposing her sister.

“Seriously?” Alex scoffs, standing up. “I can’t get one full session where I kick both of your asses?”

Dreamer scoffs, hopping off the platform first to turn off the red sunlight. “You always win, so we get saved by the bell.” They all came out to the mainframe to find out what was going on around them. “What’s going on, Winn?”

"An unknown alien is robbing the downtown bank with armed men while there are shooters and snipers around L-Corp," he says, typing to pull up footage of outside the building that soon went blank with static.

"Lena," Supergirl murmurs with Alex's added, "Sam."

"We need to get down there now," Supergirl said, determined.

"There's no time for a squad to meet us there," Alex says, slightly frantic.

"I can fly us.”

"Let's go." They run to the balcony and she jumps on her sister’s back. "Fly!" The Kryptonian picks up her protege and flies out the window at the highest speed she can without damaging either of the precious cargo. Below them, a police cruiser zooms through the streets with its lights and sirens blasting through the traffic, a few other cars trailing behind.

"We know we can't handle them all at once," Dreamer yells so that they can hear her. "What's the plan?"

"Disarm, take down, handle the alien," Alex lists.

"You guys do that, I need to get to L-Corp.”

"May I remind you that not all of us are bulletproof," the Naltorian says once they land. When shots are fired, Supergirl surrounds them with her cape, encasing them in a shield. "Point made!"

A loud almost deafening cry sounded around them, the humans covering their ears to prevent them from bleeding. The Super looked above her cape and grinned at Dinah Drake, the Black Canary from Earth-1.

With the shooters down, she grinned, twirling her bo staff, hanging it from her shoulders. "Thought you could use some help!"

There was whacking coming from the side and the Super removed the cape so they could all see the White Canary knocking down some stragglers with her batons. Sara turned with a flip of her hair and grinned. "Hey, Danvers!"

"How'd you know?" the director asks as they all group together.

"Gideon said that there would be major fluxes in the timeline if we didn't come to help you."

"There's more of you?"

"Girl's only trip." They turned to the bank quickly when the roar of the alien came, destroying the top of the building as it stomped out with bags of cash.

Supergirl heard shots in her ears from mere miles away. "L-Corp."

"Go," Dinah ushers with a jerk of her head. "We got others to meet you there." They all watch her fly off but quickly turn back to the alien when the stomps come towards them and they all dodge its charge.

Alex charges up her gun and glances at the blonde. "Ready to have some fun?"

"Two years ago was way better." The redhead rolled her eyes and shot at the problem.

From down the street, Supergirl spotted a sniper on a roof adjacent to L-Corp. With narrowed eyes, she sped over and crushed the barrel under her hand before knocking the guy out. She turned and spotted four more spotted around nearby buildings, including five shooters infiltrating from below.

"Did someone call for backup?" An archer came ziplining down on a rope with one hand on their bow, the other hand throwing knives at the assailants, hitting two of them successfully in the back of the legs.

"Speedy!"

"In the flesh, girl." She shot one of their legs, making him stay down, punching a mobster that charges at her. "What, you think I'd miss the chance to hang out with my favorite Kryptonian?"

Supergirl grinned and went back to her super ways when she heard the setup of a rifle. She sped off to the next building, punching the guy away from the weapon and destroying it with her heat vision, melting it completely.

She saw a flash of purple and yellow lightning running down the street that took down another shooter across from her. A violent scream came from beside her, seeing Killer Frost just shot down the recent sniper from getting back up again, encasing him in ice.

"We got your back," she said in her chilly way. "Go get your sweetheart."

XS sped up to another roof, taking out the last sniper. She waved over at Supergirl, who waved back before going inside L-Corp. "This is so schway."

"—and then r-and-d has developments downstairs in the labs you can check out," Sam reported to Lena, laying out the blueprints. "Not bad, Luthor."

"I try." Lena grinned, looking down to the layouts. She was really proud of her latest developments and the plans to get them working on the markets. When the blast of wind came in, she was actually grateful that her super girlfriend blew them off the table before she saw what was on them.

"Kara?" Sam furrowed her brow. "What's going on?"

"You guys are in one of the most public technology buildings and yet still manage to not know when there are shooters around," Supergirl mutters, walking to Lena's tablet so that she could pull up footage on the screen so that they could watch.

"Yay, someone wants to murder us," the CFO says in an upbeat tone that was laced with sarcasm.

"You fixed the windows, right?"

"With your strength, I had to," Lena answered, getting a cough from her coworker, rolling her eyes in response. "Oh, grow up, Samantha. You're lucky I made the walls soundproof for both of our sakes."

"Hey, remember that the Super's here because she doesn't know if another crazy lunatic is coming to kill you?"

"Well, where is the guy?" Sam asked.

Supergirl concentrated her hearing and there was another small shift of movement outside, then one coming from the elevator with a cock of a gun. "There's a new shooter across the street who has enough bullets to hit around the frames and get it, but there's another in the elevator."

"Go get the sniper," Lena said.

"But what about—"

"Darling." She took the Super by the shoulders to look her dead in the eye. "I'm a Luthor. I have my ways. Plus, women get things done," she says with a grin.

The hero gave her a chaste kiss, pointing at her as she walked to the balcony door. “You die, I'm bringing you back to life myself to kill you." Then she's up, up, and away.

The sudden bang of the door slamming open made the two jump and turn to the man dressed in all black except his eyes and mouth, pointing a gun at Lena. "Isn't it my lucky day? Two in one."

Both of them put up their hands and Lena scowls. “Let me guess: you either want a shit ton of money or to kill me.”

“Mm, how about both, sweetheart?” Sam snickered, getting the gun pointed at her. “What’s so funny?”

The woman keeps laughing, almost unable to control herself. “You messed up, buddy.” A whoosh came from the balcony and the man yelped, dropping his gun and raising his hands.

“S-Supergirl.” The businesswomen couldn’t help but smirk at the fear in his voice as he backed up, the hero coming inside with her classic fists on hips. “I-I—”

“Save it, buddy.” He felt someone tap his shoulder and he turned around to find two women standing in front of a blue portal, both holding alienary weapons in their hands. Felicity pulled the trigger on hers and on impact, his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he fell to the ground into an unconscious heap.

“You guys okay?” Iris asks, shouldering her gun.

Sam shrugs, looking at her friend. “Only happens once every three months.”

"Which means we're fine," Lena answers. "Nothin' like a little girl power to stop them from murdering us."

"Girls get shit done," Iris says with a grin, fist-bumping her friend.

"Couldn't have said it better myself."
