Let Go for Tonight

Summary:

She was sure it wouldn’t work, that she wouldn’t be able to summon Lilith with a single candle, even if her life depended on it, but it was worth a try. And there was no way in Heaven that she would go down to Hell.

Work Text:

It had been a few weeks since they had officially become the Church of Lilith. They had taken down statues and relics of the Dark Lord (and Blackwood too for that matter), and had changed their prayers. They were effectively worshipping the Queen of Hell, Mother of Demons, First Witch, Lilith, entirely now. Everything was sorted. Well, almost everything.

Zelda had been wondering for a few days why she hadn’t heard or seen a hide or hair from Lilith at all. She was the High Priestess after all, wouldn’t a simple courtesy call from Lilith be appropriate by now? Perhaps even a thank you, for leading her own church in such a strong way in these early days. But no, nothing of the sort had come from the woman. Not even a conjured letter asking Zelda for something, or telling her to do something, even to do better.

It was starting to get under Zelda’s skin. Who did this woman think she was? Yes, understandably, she was now Queen of Hell but she had witches to lead and she had been completely ignoring them.

No one else seemed to care as Zelda did. Hilda and Ambrose wouldn’t have cared either way, it wasn’t affecting their daily lives. Though they were both sympathetic to Zelda when she would express her concerns each day, at both breakfast and dinner.

As for Sabrina, she didn’t mind either as she was spending all her time to find a way to save Nicholas Scratch from the grasp of the Dark Lord and of course, Lilith. Zelda has almost ordered Sabrina to tell her if she had found a way into Hell, as she had a message for Lilith to take with her. Not that she was all that convinced Sabrina would find a way, nor that she would approve of it entirely anyway, but still, the lack of communication was getting on her nerves.

“I just don’t see why she can’t take two minutes out of her day to even visit us, perhaps during Black Mass,” Zelda mumbled over her empty dinner plate, glass of whisky in her hand.

“Are you still mulling over this, Auntie?” Ambrose spoke over the table.

“Well, why shouldn’t I?” Zelda nearly barked at him. She noticed he flinched and shuffled in her seat, crossing her leg over the other. “I didn’t mean to shout, I’m just tired, that’s all.”

“Sure,” Ambrose turned away as he rolled his eyes, hoping Zelda didn’t notice. She did.

“I think I’m close to figuring out the gates, Aunt Zee,” Sabrina spoke as she stood to clear the table of the dinner plates.

“How close is close?” Ambrose asked, looking almost hopeful.

“Well…” Sabrina began, looking away from everyone.

“So, not so close,” Zelda surmised.

“Something felt different today while I was chanting, I swear it. I just don’t know what I did or said yet. I’ll have to go back tomorrow.”

“You have school tomorrow, and you must go to school, there’s no way you’re getting out of it,” Zelda ordered as she stood up from the table and moved into the sitting room. Ambrose followed, leaving Hilda to tend to the dishes with Sabrina.

“Might I ask, Aunt Zee,” Ambrose started, leaning against the side of the couch, folding his arms over himself. “Why are you so upset about Lilith not coming up from the depths?” He almost whispered the question, not wanting to cause another flare up from Zelda. She had been getting more and more annoyed by each question about it the last day or so.

“I’m not upset,” she quickly responded. She walked to the drink cart, placed her glass down and spoke again as she poured another drink. “I would only assume it’s common courtesy to check in on the coven that worships you,” she paused her pouring and shrugged her shoulders. “It’s what I would do.”

Ambrose rolled his eyes fully now, knowing his Aunt couldn’t see. “Of course, Auntie. I was only wondering.”

“Well, wonder a little less would you.” Zelda went to sit down in her usual chair and lit a cigarette up.

“I have some reading I’d like to get done,” Ambrose mentioned as he started to leave the room. Zelda said nothing, losing herself in thought, so Ambrose spoke again. “Might do you some good to wonder a little less too,” he said quickly and almost ran out the room to avoid whatever his Aunt would say in return.

Zelda hadn’t the opportunity to even form a reply in her head before he left, but for the five minutes it took her to smoke her cigarette, she did think that perhaps Ambrose was right. She had been thinking of it a little too much, maybe. Getting a little too worked up. After all, Lilith had said nothing of visiting her new coven in the first place, and Zelda hadn’t asked. Zelda told herself to let it go, and she did so over the next few days.

And it had worked, Zelda had let the matter go and simply moved on, or at least she thought she had. It was when Sabrina had come home with Nick Scratch in her arms that the issue had risen once again within Zelda. Sabrina hadn’t even asked about her little issue, not that Zelda even approved of Sabrina to visit Hell. She quite simply thought Sabrina wouldn’t manage to enter Hell on her own. And well, she hadn’t. She had her friends, but she thought maybe she’d need the coven, but she hadn’t, and maybe that’s what angered Zelda so much. She could have gone to Hell with Sabrina and addressed her concerns, but it hadn’t turned out that way.

Zelda had ought to be more furious with Sabrina that she had deemed it so necessary to go down to Hell without her expressed permission and without another witch in her company, but as it turned out, Zelda was still more furious at Lilith. The woman apparently cared that she had a coven, that she was reigning over the realm all by herself, but did not actually care enough to help the said coven that she was apparently so appreciative of.

Well, Zelda thought, it just wasn’t good enough.

Zelda had set herself up in her bedroom at the Academy. She had lit a single candle and placed it in the middle of the empty floor space, and then she kneeled in front of it.

She was sure it wouldn’t work, that she wouldn’t be able to summon Lilith with a single candle, even if her life depended on it, but it was worth a try. And there was no way in Heaven that she would go down to Hell.

Zelda settled on her knees, clasped her hands together, and pointed her fingers down to the floor. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and began.

“Praise Lilith, our Holy Dark Mother,” she whispered, trying to gain strength and volume so if Lilith could hear her, her voice would be hard to drown out. “I pray to you now in an hour of need, in an hour of… dispiritedness. I call to you now, asking for your presence, to help the only coven that currently worships you. To give your strength to your first coven.”

It was pure sucking up, that’s what it was, but Zelda was almost sure it would work, no matter how much she hated to be literally on her knees begging to see her Queen. Groveling didn’t suit her, she had known that from a very young age.

She continued her pleas and praises, asking for help, begging for a simple form of communication at the very least. For a full five minutes she did not let up, repeating the words at length, somewhat hoping that perhaps Lilith would be just annoyed enough to send her a sign. To Zelda’s surprise, it didn’t take her half the amount of time she thought it would to hear back from Lilith in some form. Also to her surprise, it was Lilith herself who appeared in the room in flames and smoke that filled the room with a strong scent of brimstone. Zelda stopped her chanting and looked up and what she noticed first was the fed up look on Lilith’s face. Zelda had annoyed her enough for her to come up to the mortal realm. It wasn’t good, even though it had worked.

“I apologize, your Majesty-

“No, you don’t,” Lilith spat as she started to wander around the room in all her glory. Her dress was swaying around her, her crown sitting firmly atop her full head of hair, her make up as flawless as it was when she was parading around Greendale. It was the second time now that Zelda had seen the crown on Lilith and she couldn’t help but think it suited her entirely. Formidable Lilith.

“I did not want to bother you,” Zelda tried again but she was cut off.

“And yet here we are, and I’m bothered.”

“I simply wished to speak with you.”

“What about?”

Zelda almost scoffed but held back just in time. It wouldn’t do well to annoy the Mother of Demons any further than she had. She knew she had to get to the point.

“About your coven. Us, the ones here worshipping you, the ones praying to you every day,” Zelda said as she looked at Lilith. She swore she almost saw a smirk on her face just as Lilith turned her back on Zelda to pick up something from atop her dresser. The notion that Lilith enjoyed being worshipped and yet ignored her coven sparked anger within Zelda’s chest.

“What is it you are so desperately in need of, dear Zelda? Hmm?” Lilith smiled bitterly as she dropped the trinket she held and looked at Zelda.

“I’ve summoned you here-

“You did not summon me,” Lilith interrupted. “I cannot be pulled here against my will. You wouldn’t get out of my head and it didn’t seem like you’d stop so I had to bring myself here to shut you up.”

“To shut me up?”

“Just tell me what you want, and I will be on my way.”

Zelda’s mouth dropped open, and just as fast as it had she pursed her lips together again. She was not a goldfish. Though she still couldn’t believe that Lilith really did not seem to care in the least that her coven needed her guidance in these early weeks of its establishment. Zelda was quickly losing the need to be polite.

“I need only your guidance, need only your input on what we are doing here. You didn’t really believe we would just start praying to you and call it a day, did you?”

“Well,” Lilith smirked and tilted her head.

“It is me, your High Priestess, who should have at least some contact from you. I thought perhaps we would build up our coven again together.” Lilith just laughed.

“Why would you think that?”

“I don’t know, I-

“Did Lucifer ever talk with his High Priests or even his Council for that matter?”

“I thought so,” Zelda mumbled, trying to think of the times she heard Faustus mention he was in communication with the Dark Lord.

“He never did, you of all people should have known that,” Lilith laughed again, right in her face. That sent the flames of anger soaring in Zelda’s chest, calling upon her lack of awareness but Lilith continued. “On very rare occasions he would pay a member of his coven a visit, but it was never about business with the coven. That’s why there’s someone else in charge here. That’s why there’s you.”

“Then shouldn’t you feel the need to be better than him?” Zelda asked, exasperated. Lilith stared at her as she approached Zelda. It was then Zelda realized she was still kneeling, still looking up to Lilith, still being the obedient follower.

“Better than him?”

“Perhaps if you do things differently from him, you’ll be better than he was.”

Once again, Lilith just laughed in Zelda’s face. “I don’t need to talk and discuss with the likes of witches to be better than him.” That offended Zelda. She thought things would be different with Lilith after everything they had gone through to get where they were.

“How insulting, considering your coven is made up of witches.”

“And what could I possibly have to gain from you?” Lilith laughed yet again. Zelda had no clue what was so amusing about this. Lilith’s flippant attitude flicked a switch in her.

Zelda stood on her feet and tried her best to look strong and resolute. This was a real issue she had, not just some joke for Lilith to laugh about.

“You wouldn’t be in the position you are right now without us witches.” Lilith went to speak but Zelda held her hand up, silencing the crowned woman. “That beloved crown of yours would not be sitting on your pretty little head if we hadn’t helped you.”

“I never needed your help,” Lilith spoke, but softly, like even she didn’t believe it.

“Yes, you did,” Zelda countered. “You’re ashamed you needed help, but let me tell you now, I have no shame in admitting we now need help. Our numbers are pitiful, our scriptures are now incomplete in regards to you, our prayers are sub par because we have no idea what you want or need from us, your devoted witches. Please help.”

Lilith was silent for a few moments, considering what Zelda had confessed, no doubt. Zelda hoped the Queen would offer some assistance, anything. Just something that would help the coven or perhaps help Lilith personally instead. She felt directionless, which, as Directrix of a school, was not an ideal position to be in.

Lilith sighed and turned away before she spoke. “I have business to attend to in Hell.” The woman was about to whisk away in a fury of flames before Zelda yelled at her.

“Coward! Just like Him.”

Lilith spun around, the bottom of her dress swayed around her feet as she marched to where Zelda stood. The Queen of Hell towered over Zelda, and she wasn’t sure if it was because the woman perhaps had on a pair of high heels that were taller than Zelda’s or if it was some kind of intimidation charm, but suddenly Zelda felt very small.

“How dare you insult your Queen like this,” Lilith growled. Zelda felt the flames of fury circle in her chest, whirlpooling, getting faster and stronger, even as Lilith looked like she would tear Zelda in two if she continued. Surprisingly, it didn’t deter the witch at all.

“You’re too scared you’ll lose that crown if you fuck up, and you think listening to witches is fucking up. I bet He drilled that into your head,” Zelda scoffed. “Told you how worthless we are, how worthless you are.”

Before Zelda could continue riling up Lilith there was a hand wrapping around her throat and she was being pushed backwards until the backs of her knees hit the end of her bed.

“You seem to be running that mouth a bit far, Ms. Spellman,” Lilith warned. “I don’t know where you gained the audacity but-

“I’m the High Priestess now,” Zelda interrupted, and as she did, she could feel Lilith’s grip tighten. Not enough to hurt per se, but enough to feel her pulse thump under Lilith’s fingers. The feeling excited her. Enough that she could track her pulse all the way down to her- No. No, she shut down that sensation as quickly as she had felt it.

“That means fuck all to me. You might as well be some servant who brings me wine or washes my sheets,” Lilith grinned. “Or some sad handmaiden of mine, waiting on my hand and foot.”

That feeling within Zelda pulsed again, deep in her belly, at the mere mention of being the Queen’s handmaiden. She knew a job title like that came with certain connotations and Zelda would be lying to herself if she said she had never thought about it. Not perhaps with Lilith exactly, but it wasn’t like that particular thought had never crossed her mind in the last few weeks. A simple filthy indulgence to ease tension late at night, that’s all it was, really.

Zelda watched as Lilith’s eyes seemed to glimmer with excitement as she held her position over the witch. Almost like she knew where Zelda’s mind had just gone.

“Or does that excite you?” Lilith murmured. “Being on your hands and knees for me? Obeying me? Being at the mercy of my will,” the woman trailed off and smirked.

Zelda was silent, at a loss for words. She couldn’t deny that the idea of it all was exciting. In her past she had loved the notion of it all, if only for a grab at any power someone had to throw her way. But it didn’t seem like Lilith would even respect her position of High Priestess. Under Lilith’s hand she felt powerless, and it bothered her.

“I bet you love the idea of it as much as you think I do,” Zelda finally said, voice strained.

“You wouldn’t like that?”

“Not if it meant I didn’t get anything in return,” Zelda admitted. At that, Lilith grinned like the cheshire cat. Zelda was just a tiny mouse under her paw.

“What do you want?” the Queen inquired. She was probably expecting Zelda to keep up with the intention of requiring guidance for the Church, but here, now, under Lilith’s crowned shadow, under her strength, did she truly admit to what she desired most of all.

“Power,” she breathed out her confession. “I want more.” She wasn’t sure where the admission had come from. Perhaps it was because she knew how desperate Lilith had been for the same thing in her past. That maybe she of all people would understand Zelda’s wants.

Lilith chuckled, coming from deep in her chest. “I’ll give you more, but it won’t be power, oh dear one.”

Zelda swallowed thickly, felt her throat contract against the palm resting so firmly on her neck. Whatever Lilith had in mind, it couldn’t be such a terrible idea. It wouldn’t be power, it wouldn’t be help, but it would be something Zelda needed, craved even. She didn’t know if Lilith knew what she needed, but if she didn’t she was bluffing very well.

The thought that maybe this was just the way Lilith knew how to lead occurred to her, briefly. That this was what Lilith had been conditioned into believing; that the right hand wasn’t deserving of power, but they were deserving of something.

“Get on the bed,” Lilith ordered, letting her hand slip away from Zelda’s throat.

“What?” Zelda feigned confusion.

“You want something from me. This is what you’ll get,” Lilith sighed. She brought a finger up to the edge of Zelda’s jaw and pressed her nail into the lily white skin, dragging it down to the witch’s neck to her collarbone, leaving a curved pink line, stark against the paleness of the skin. Lilith watched as her finger trailed down, then sharply turned her eyes to Zelda’s. “Is this not something you want?”

She was playing Zelda and playing her good. Zelda thought for a moment if this was something she would allow to happen. No, it wasn’t what she wanted when she called upon Lilith but it was certainly something she wanted now, despite still feeling that anger that Lilith was ignoring the issue at hand and refusing to help her coven, but oh, how did she crave it now that it was offered to her.

Zelda started to lean against the end of her bed. She placed her hands behind her as she lifted herself onto the bed, sitting before Lilith.

“Good girl,” Lilith whispered, and Zelda felt her eyelids flutter. Lilith wasn’t to know she had always enjoyed that phrase when directed at her, but by the way Lilith smiled, she was aware now. “Now turn over.”

Zelda obeyed, turning over so she was on her hands and knees on her bed, looking at the bedhead. It all felt wrong but so right. She was so mad at Lilith, so angry that she barely cared about her duties, about the witches who worshipped her status and gave them nothing. Furious that Lilith was using her needs to sweep away serious concerns. But fuck, if she didn’t want this and need this now that it was dangled right in front of her.

She felt Lilith’s fingertips drag up the back of her thighs, felt as they met the hem of her skirt, felt as they hooked underneath the fabric and pushed it up, exposing the flimsy fabric of her underwear to her Queen. Zelda shut her eyes and sighed as she felt the cool air of the room sweep over her inner thighs. There was a pause of energy in the room, a moment when she didn’t feel Lilith behind her, then suddenly a sharp slap against her ass. It made Zelda squeeze her eyes shut at the suddenness of it and lunge forward away from the contact.

“This is for disrespecting your Queen,” Lilith explained, voice even and controlled. Then three more hits in quick succession. Zelda let out a great sigh and leaned away from Lilith, but it was then she felt the throb between her legs return and she swayed back towards Lilith. “Oh, is my High Priestess wanting more punishment for her disrespect?”

The way Lilith said it made Zelda annoyed like she was oblivious to the way it made the witch feel, though she clearly knew better. She used such a sweet voice, it coated the inside of Zelda’s mind like thick humidity. It felt inescapable, but in a way, the witch didn’t mind.

“Get on with it,” Zelda huffed.

Lilith smacked her even harder the next time, and harder still after that, and the next hit made Zelda whimper like she’d never done this before. Never been under the hand of someone with something to gain from her pleasure from this particular act. She curved her head around to catch a glimpse of Lilith but just as she saw the edge of the woman’s crown still resting perfectly on her head she was pushed down on the bed so her chest was pressed into the covers. Zelda then felt Lilith’s fingers reach under her bunched skirt and tug at the elastic of her underwear and pull them off slowly but surely down her legs and left them where her knees met the bed.

The feeling of the air on her naked body made Zelda once again move back towards Lilith, needing some sort of contact, some relief. It never did take her much to submit. She tried to turn her head up again but was met with another smack, the hardest of all. Zelda gasped and curled a fist into the bed cover.

“Keep still, Zelda, otherwise I might not come back and help you with what you asked me for earlier,” Lilith revealed. Well, that was something, Zelda thought, she was at least somewhat willing to help, but any further pondering was pushed away as she felt Lilith’s finger drag slowly through her very obvious wetness. So, she was going to be played with like that too. Well, Zelda hardly minded at this point. In fact, she was desperate for it. She could feel her wetness coat Lilith’s fingertip, felt the way it glided over her with a silky easiness, she was positively dripping from the way Lilith played with her. Zelda felt two fingers poised at her entrance at the same time she felt Lilith lean down next to her ear.

“What’s the magic word?” Lilith whispered. No fucking way, Zelda thought. That would be too much, even the Queen of Hell wouldn’t get such a display from Zelda Spellman that easily, so she simply did not answer. Lilith pulled her hand away from where it waited and hit Zelda once more, her fingers met the edge of Zelda’s labia and the witch yelped.

“Say it,” Lilith whispered once more. She wasn’t making it easy.

“Fuck you,” Zelda spat out. She wouldn’t give Lilith the satisfaction of that sort of begging.

“I would, but only if you give in to me, Zelda.”

It was the way Lilith said her name that time that almost made Zelda melt. It pleaded with her to just give in and give Lilith what she wanted to hear so she would receive the thing Zelda so desperately wanted, the one thing she was dripping over her bedsheets for. It said ‘it’s simple, you just need to say it’, but she waited too long and Lilith started to pull away from her. Zelda grumbled in frustration while realizing that she had been worked into such a heady state that she wanted this bad enough to say it, and as she felt Lilith lift up from the bed she did.

“Please.”

“Hmm?” Lilith mused, like she hadn’t heard the word she asked for. Bitch.

“Please, Lilith, please,” Zelda moaned. She couldn’t believe she’d said it but she needed this. Needed to feel Lilith’s fingers on her, in her. And if she had to beg, she would, even though it made her hate Lilith and herself just the same, the way the woman dragged it out of her like that.

“Now, that wasn’t so hard was it?” Lilith chuckled as she pressed her fingers against Zelda’s entrance once more. She moved her fingertips as if to tickle Zelda, teasing her. The witch wiggled her hips and near growled, disliking the sensation as much as it excited her and with another laugh full of mirth from Lilith the fingers filled her, resting inside as Zelda pushed her ass back and sighed, adjusting to the feeling

Lilith eased her fingers out slowly and pushed back in hard, making Zelda whimper as her fingers curled down slightly. She set a soft but strong pace, continued to drag out slowly and drove back in hard, curling her fingers to hit the spot that made Zelda tremble each time. It drove the redheaded witch mad, having a moment of relief between what felt like endless teasing. Zelda’s hands gripped her sheets so hard her knuckles went white with the strength of her hold, yanking them every time the tips of her Queen’s fingers hit just right there. She felt flushed, overheated like she was in the peak of a summer heat wave. Then Lilith picked up the pace and she simply disappeared in pleasure.

Zelda felt Lilith’s free hand grab at her shoulder, pulling her onto the woman’s fingers at every thrust. She panted and mewled as Lilith continued to thrust into her, putting the weight of her hips behind her movements.

The Queen moved her hand from gripping Zelda’s shoulder and dragged her nails down the witch’s clothed back. It made her back arch, sensitive to the touch, to the sharpness of it. Zelda lifted herself onto her forearms as Lilith dragged her hand over Zelda’s hip and then down her bare thigh. She dug her nails into the inside of Zelda’s thigh, fingers scratching upwards until her hand met soft, damp curls. As her fingertips met then witch’s clit Zelda let out a deep groan, pressing down against the pressure, seeking out the touch Lilith provided.

Her mind was cloudy with utter desire, focused on the feeling of Lilith continuing to fill her up as her fingers drew tight circles on her clit, matching the rhythm she had set. Her cunt clenched around her Queen’s fingers as she rocked back, feeling her body close to succumbing to the total ecstasy of it all. Her whole body tingled with pins and needles, and with a final few thrusts she gasped out with her undoing.

Lilith slowed her movements, dragging out Zelda’s orgasm. As the woman beneath her whimpered, legs trembling, she started to pull her fingers out. At the moment Lilith left contact with Zelda she felt a hand wrap around her wrist.

“I need more,” Zelda begged, heavy breaths the only sound in the room. The redhead pushed her ass back, seeking to be touched once more. Lilith couldn’t resist, not against that breathy moan that dripped with want.

“Greedy girl,” Lilith murmured, a smirk on her lips.

“Please?” Zelda whimpered, unbelieving of the desire falling off her in dregs. It just wasn’t enough. She needed it all again, again and again and again until she was a fucked out mess.

Well, Lilith thought, she did say the magic word. So Lilith lined up her fingers again, slipped two in, relishing in the feeling that welcomed them, the fluttering of her inner walls as she was still reeling from the first orgasm. Lilith briefly pulled out, hearing a desperate whine from Zelda, before slamming back into her with three fingers. So help her, Zelda actually screamed, muffling the sound in her bedsheets.

Reinvigorated by the sound, Lilith pounded into her, working herself up into such a state that her heart pounded against her ribcage in time with her movements.

“Fuck,” Zelda gasped, her cunt clamping around the fingers inside of her. “Don’t fucking stop,” she pleaded. She couldn’t remember the last time she had been fucked like this, at her total pleasure, hand in hand with being under the mercy of someone else. It made her feel good, it made her feel powerful.

Lilith’s free hand found a grasp in Zelda’s hair, pulling so hard Zelda’s head lifted up, but the action made the witch that much wetter that the sound of it was bouncing off the walls, entirely obscene.

“Touch yourself,” Lilith demanded, and like it was a spell Zelda’s hand found its way between her legs. She rubbed herself trying to keep in time with Lilith’s thrusts.

Her second orgasm was building fast inside her. Her blood felt like it was boiling, focusing deep in her belly. It all felt like it was too much, the sheer pressure of the fingers inside her working with the way she was touching herself, and then all at once it burst, and all she could feel was Lilith. Lilith inside her cunt, Lilith’s hand in her hair, Lilith’s own pleasure in her head.

She rocked back onto Lilith’s fingers, dragging out every ounce of her orgasm she could, not wanting the feeling to end, and then felt Lilith’s fingers gently slipped out and she dropped down onto the bed. Before she had a moment to recover from the intensity, Lilith’s tongue was licking up the length of her folds, cleaning up the mess she had helped make. Zelda’s body twitched and she let out a shaky sigh, the action pushing her into overstimulated territory. Then as suddenly as she felt Lilith’s tongue on her, it disappeared, and one last slap landed on her ass, making her gasp out loudly a final time.

“Good girl,” Lilith sighed, and Zelda actually felt the praise run up her spine, making her shiver, a tired smile gracing her face. For some reason, she felt proud like she had pleased her Queen. Which she supposed, she had.

Zelda turned over onto her back, breathing heavily, hair sticking to her neck as she stared upwards. She slowly moved to sit up, resting her weight on the heels of her hands. She glanced at Lilith and she felt a flutter start again in her abdomen.

Lilith stood tall, the crown still balanced perfectly in place on her head. She stared down at Zelda like she had just ravaged her prey. Her thumb wiped at the corner of her lips, sucking it into her mouth, releasing it with a pop. Zelda couldn’t take her eyes off the woman, completely enamoured by the display.

“My, my, High Priestess,” Lilith said. “Aren’t you delicious?”

Zelda went to speak, went to ask if she could worship her Queen in return, but before she even knew how to reveal her wants Lilith turned around and sauntered to the other side of the room.

“While this has been,” Lilith spoke, turning her head around to look into Zelda’s eyes. “Fun, I really must be on my way.”

The redheaded witch tried to protest, her thoughts refocusing on the fact that they hadn’t really sorted the main issue at hand, but Lilith paused her vocalizations with a raised palm.

“I’ll have a think about your concerns, and I might return to discuss them, but no promises.” With that, the Queen of Hell teleported away in the same fury of flames she had entered with. Zelda dropped back onto the bed, a little disbelieving of what had just happened. She would be lying to herself if she said she hadn’t enjoyed that, it was clearly evident she had in the way her thighs still felt sticky and the slight pain in her scalp where Lilith had grabbed her hair. Although she knew then that Lilith was the one to win this exchange. She arrived and left on her own terms, she had the last word, she had given Zelda nothing that she asked for. Well, not entirely nothing, but nothing had really changed. She still needed a resolution on the way she thought the Queen was leading the coven, but there was a chance now that the issue could be resolved. At the very least worked upon, which was a start.

Zelda let out a heavy breath, letting her eyes drift shut.

“Praise Lilith.”
