Chapter Text
Love is a blessing, created by gods and given to creatures as some sort of feeling that makes them stronger, undefeatable… Which was interesting in End’s eyes.
As some sort of goddess, End was always lonely. Watching time go by, in an infinite cycle that she kept studying, again and again, like little parts that worked in strange patterns.
She divided them into live, laugh, love, die.
And then, continued appreciating how the wind blows by her sight in eternal silence.
Until, in her ethereal grace, she appeared.
In snow-white locks and unbreakable spirit. The white lady arrived by a vanishing portal, under the name of Aether, pursuing the discovery of the End City and its secrets, as a promise she made to herself and her people.
From there… Nothing was the same.
Quiet towers turned melodic, lonely islands turned crowded and silent sightseeing became the share of millions of adventures and anecdotes that made End’s heart jump in such happiness...
Just like love, Aether was a blessing for the End.
And End could not be more grateful for the person she got married to and miraculously got Ranboo with.
Oh, Ranboo. Her little prince, the light of the End.
The path both of them had to do was so long but so worth it.
End still remembers all the reading, writing, and pleading she and her wife had to do to ask for the opportunity to give birth to a life. And finally, succeeded.
The procedure to follow was complicated since it involved the Nether Star’s only wish.
According to the ancient books- which were hidden in the darkest parts of the Divine Library-, to give life, both parts must sacrifice important sources of their worlds, sources that will be fused and combined in the heart of the to-be-born creature. So it indeed led to serious reflexing and questioning about what both of them were looking to achieve.
Thing that wasn’t too hard to do since the End's citizens loved the idea of seeing its goddess living with a companion after all the silence her sanctuary possessed.
So, they did it.
Aether took the Crystal of Life, source of light and color of the heaven-like dimension, the heart of the Aether; And End, took the Pearl of Time, the jewel that keeps the End moving, growing, living through the universe with no stop, and settled both treasures in front of the Nether Star before being dragged into a shimmering light that leads them into an unconsciousness state that persisted for seven days and ended with the discovering of a little seed growing into Aether's womb, for ten months.
Ten long months of waiting for the enchanting sight of her little boo.
She couldn’t understand how such a beautiful baby came from her blood, because Ranboo was astounding.
His body was divided into black and white tones, cutely decorated with red-green freckles that followed the pattern of his eyes, divided into two different galaxies that mixed perfectly the essence of both worlds that gave him life.
Ranboo was perfect. Because Ranboo was his version of his mother’s love. Ranboo was Ranboo. And she will protect him overall.
Even her life.
