Chapter Text
Moon Taeil - the guy in your art class
Purple - Sohlhee, Taeil
A sunny Thursday. 12:23.
He is sitting by the window again, like always. You can't judge him, that is the best place to sit in an art class, anyways. Not to mention, he is absolutely ethereal when the strong sunlight shines at him, colouring his tanned skin golden. Golden, like his pure soul as he is the softest guy you have ever met. A human treasure.
Wearing a golden necklace per usual, today he paired it with a white shirt, light jeans and his favourite pair of shoes: sunflower-patterned vans. (of course you know, you had a whole conversation with him about his shoes once)
You can't help but stare at him, he is just so captivating as he sits with perfect posture. He holds the paintbrush oh so elegantly while he paints whatever is on his mind. His legs are always crossed, doesn't matter how high the chair is.
Noticing your staring, he turns his head to your direction and winks at you, making you blush and turn away, completely flustered. His antics doesn't go unnoticed by your art teacher.
"Moon Taeil, you can flirt with girls later, now please work on your art project." she snaps, and now the whole class' attention is on the still blushing you and the confidently smiling Taeil. Some students giggle, some make a sound that resemble an owl, but almost all of them start to whisper, gushing about whether you two are in a relationship or not. He just turns to you and flashes his perfect teeth in a beautiful smile before turning his attention back to the huge painting in front of him.
You sit through the rest of the class with a dazed expression, canvas barely touched. As the bell rings, you lazily stretch your body like a cat, enjoying the warmth of the sun on your skin. The rest of the class already went out in a rush to reach the canteen and get lunch, but you didn't sign up for food this year, so you have plenty of time until the next lesson starts.
A soft, male voice baits you out of your thoughts and vanilla scent hits you the same time as the realisation that Moon Taeil himself is talking to you. "Hey, mind joining me for lunch?"
You look up at him with eyes dilated from the surprise his invitation caused. Not even taking a moment of consideration, you nod, lips curling into a smile. "I would love to."
"Cool, then meet you in the park?" he asks.
"Sure."
"Under the maple tree in five. I'll go snatch my blanket." is all he says before he's out of the classroom with a beautiful smile that never leaves his cherry lips, and only grows bigger when he notices you approaching him, walking barefeet on the soft grass of the school's park exactly five minutes later. Not caring about the students' stare, you wave at him, which he immediately returns, paired with a bubbly giggle. If possible, you fall in love with him even more.
