Rin blinked open his eyes, seeing a vast field of pure white.
Welcome.
What the hell-!?
Rin spun around, tail coming out and swirling around gracefully behind him. He stopped when he saw his boyfriends, rushing over to them. "Bon!" He gasped. "Ren!"
His boyfriends blearily opened their eyes, sitting up. Renzo sniffed and looked at Rin, blinking slowly. "Rin...?" He rasped.
"Hey, sleepyhead," Rin said, chuckling. "How are y-"
"WHERE AM I!?!?"
"Inosuke! Stop yelling! My head hurts...!"
Ahh, you're all here. Welcome, Rin Okumura, Renzo Shima, and Ryuuji Suguro of Blue Exorcist.
And welcome, Tanjiro Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, and Zenitsu Agatsuma of Demon Slayer.
"Demon... slayer?? Is that like exorcists?" Rin asked, moving his tail closer to him with a small shff sound.
"Well, depends..."
Inosuke sighed. "What the hell are we doing here?" They growled, leaning against Zenitsu.
Rin rolled his eyes, sitting down. This seemed to be a regular room- there was definitely a floor and what seemed to be walls. He lowered his head, lost in thought.
Alright, introduce yourselves properly. And Rin... don't leave anything out.
Rin gulped. "But you said they're from Demon Slayer-"
Don't worry about it. One of them has a sibling that's a demon. I'm sure none of them would want to hurt you.
Nobody else reacted to the voice this time, so Rin had a feeling it was speaking only to him.
Now... We'll start with Zenitsu, and end with Rin. Go.
"Hi... I'm Zenitsu Agatsuma, and I'm a Demon Slayer. Uhh... I use Thunder Breathing, and... mmm... I'm bisexual....?? I use he/him pronouns."
Good. Now you, Renzo.
"Hi...! I'm Renzo Shima, and my hair isn't.. eh... actually pink. I'm an Exorcist-in-Training! I'm very gay, and I use he/him pronouns as well."
Inosuke.
"I'm Inosuke Hashibira! I'm a Demon Slayer and I use Beast Breathing, and I'm omnisexual!! I use they/them pronouns."
Bon.
"I'm Bon. I'm also an Exorcist-in-Training! I'm pansexual and genderfluid. If you're unsure of my gender at the moment, just use xe/xem pronouns."
Alright. Now you, Tanjiro.
"I'm Tanjiro Kamado! I, too, am a Demon Slayer. I use Water Breathing. I'm demisexual biromantic, and I use he/they pronouns."
And now you, Rin. Remember not to leave anything out.
Rin inhaled. "I'm Rin Okumura, and I'm... I'm a demon."
Immediately, the Demon Slayers exchanged glances, reaching for their swords.
"But I'm also an Exorcist-in-Training. I'm the son of Satan.... mmm.... I'm bisexual and I use he/him pronouns."
Good! Now that you've all introduced yourselves, I can let you out of the room! You'll be getting a break now, to talk and stuff. After this, you'll be transported to each others' universes and you'll see what it's like in each one. And then you'll switch places.
"That's complicated," Tanjiro said, tilting his head in thought.
Indeed it is, Tanjiro. When you switch, I'll be sure to tell you who you're switching places with. You'll be once more inserted into each others' universes, only this time you'll take the place of the person you've switched with. Siblings will follow you over, and you'll also get that person's power, if they have any. You will remember what you're doing there, your siblings won't. They'll think you've been there the whole time, so be sure not to mention your previous universe.
"That was... a lot," said Rin, biting his lip.
The weird voice laughed.
Alright, everyone, get ready.
The break is over.
We're starting.
