When Lan Wangji befriends Wei Wuxian who is his own age, he becomes extremely possessive and jealous type because he never had a friend in his life, so he becomes extremely jealous of others for his only friend.

Wei Wuxian instantly entered Lan Wangji's life and became his best friend as well as bodyguard even he always cared for Lan Wangji from the bottom of his heart despite the fact that he was blind.
