“So you heard my soliloquy?” Hange’s face turned red and they looked away. “Oh god…”
Levi stared at Hange, since that was all he could do. His arm was still hurting so he couldn’t raise it to take Hange’s hand or anything. With no way other to comfort them, he sighed.
“If we run…where do we go?”
Hange’s heart skipped a beat, but they chuckled. “Maybe the countryside. We could…have a garden with fruits and vegetables.”
“Sounds messy.” Levi scoffed.
“I’ve always wanted my own garden. I could settle for a farm too…”
“Absolutely not.” He grunted. Hange laughed and when their laugh died down, they looked at the sky, or what would be the sky if the tall, thick tree leaves weren’t covering it.
“To be honest, I don’t care where we go.” Hange finally said. “As long as I’m with you.” Hange turned to Levi.
“Are you sure you’re willing to leave everyone behind? I know you can’t stand to miss the action, shitty glasses.”
Hange smirked and put their hand on Levi’s chest. “As long as we are not apart, I’ll go anywhere as long as I’m with you.”
“Well…I guess that makes two of us.”
