Jinx has never felt this way before to want to share things with someone like this. The intimacy scares her with it’s complexity she doesn’t understand this feeling. She’s scared but she won’t run away.
Ekko’s always been there for her even when her sister Vi was not or when Silco died. He was always there to catch her like he’s here now in her bed. When she’s sleeping and when she has a good nights sleep Jinx dreams of him.
But not tonight; tonight’s a nightmare most the abandonment dream and Silco dying is the nightmares she always has it’s always the same thing. Vi leaves and Silco leaves too. No ones there to save her.

Ekko feels thrashing at his side which wakes him up. He glanced over at his lover and she’s crying and having a clear night-mare. He has a method for waking her up from her trauma induced dreams. He picks up into his lap as she continues to cry and starts rocking her like a baby.
As he rocks her she snaps out of her dream still a lot shook and stilling crying her eyes out a bit as she tries to speak.
“Ekko I—had a—“
He shushes her as she wraps her arms around him crying into his shoulder. Holding so tight she doesn’t seem to want to let go. “It’s ok Powder I’m right here it was just a bad dream.”
“But it was so real!!!” Jinx sobbed a bit as his eyes found her red ones.
He caresses her cheek gently and prepares to go get her a glass of water to cool down at bit. He finds doing this and holding her works best but she stops him before he can leave. “Don’t leave me!!! Please!!! I—I love you!!!” She says whilst sobbing.
Ekko gets down on his knees at the edge of the bed and looks into her eyes.
“I’m not going anyone just getting a warm glass of water you’d like that Powder?” He asks gently with a warm smile.
Jinx looks down at him pouting and says a small very small yes. He finally gets the right a way to go. He gets the glass and returns as quick as he can.
Powders still in the same position as when he left. She looked so distraught and tired this happened and he was puked help her get back to sleep. He does his routine gets behind her lays her onto his chest so she can drink some water and start to feel safe enough to fall asleep.
“I’m—I’m done…thank you. Ekko” she says in a tired voice. She finally falls asleep shortly after on top of him as usual when that happens. Ekko finds her sleeping super cute but didn’t like the nightmares or her suffering. He wants her to get help.
