Summary:
Mac quirks an eyebrow. “What do you have there, Jack?”
“Coffees,” Jack holds up the tray. “A whole lotta lattes, you kids with your fancy gingerbread syrups and sugar canes.”
“No, I’m talking about whatever is making your chest look like an alien is about to explode out of it.” Mac steps closer and the little furball’s legs start flailing like crazy inside his coat, twisting and wriggling and her nose pops out about the zipper.
“Oh,” Jack chuckles as though it was possible to forget that he was carrying around a puppy in his jacket. He tugs down the zipper enough for the black and white masked face to pop out. “Mac, meet Galileo.”
