“Are you sure about this? You really want to do it?”
“Yeah, I’m 100% sure.” Bright smiled and kissed the pair of soft lips in front of him.

While walking towards the set for the next scene they are about to shoot, Win suddenly turned to Bright
“Do you still want to do it?” the younger whispered, careful not to be heard by anyone but Bright.
The older boy laughed, used to how annoyingly persistent Win can be, “Yes, love. I still do.” and continued walking to where their glam is waiting for them to retouch their makeup.

“You know, I won’t be mad if you don’t want to do it,” Win asked again, making Bright pause the game they were playing.
“I still want to. Do you not want me to?”
“No! That’s not what I meant.” Win put the console down and faced Bright and held both his hands. “I just don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable. I will understand if you don’t want to…”
“Love, I want to do this with you, I really do. I am honored, actually. So stop worrying, okay?” he smiled and kissed the younger’s forehead.
“Okay.”
“As long as you’re by my side I won’t worry about anything else.”
“Of course, I’ll always be with you.”
Their video game is completely forgotten as they wrap themselves in the presence of each other.

Yesterday
“Okay, I’ll be honest. I’m nervous. I still want to do it…. But what if they don’t like me?”
Win looked into the eyes he loved the most and took Bright’s hand, “You have nothing to worry about. They already like you and you’ve met them before.
“Yeah, but not as your boyfriend though.” slight pout on Bright’s lips.
“Ah…” cheeks turning pink his heart still flutters whenever Bright calls him his boyfriend. “I know they will still like you though, I bet they will love you even more because they will know how special you are to me.”
“I love you, you know that right?”
“I know.,” Win smiled, eyes turning to little crescents, “and I love you too.”
Both now feel light and happy in their hearts as they continue to the movie playing in front of them.

Present
It was a busy day for Win, well every day has been a busy day for the last month for him. That's expected with all the work commitment he currently has.
Today is different. Today is his older sister’s wedding and it is the first wedding in their family. Everybody is buzzing with happiness and excitement, including Win. He’s never felt so happy for his sister. She’s finally marrying the man that she loved the most and the man Win knows who can take care of his sister.
Aside from the wedding excitement, this is also a special day for him. It is the eve of Bright’s birthday. Birthdays for Win are really sacred even because it is the only day in the year when he could shower Bright with gifts and attention and have no one question their relationship status.
But apart from Bright’s birthday celebration, something big is also going to happen for Win and Bright. It’s the day he will finally introduce Bright as his boyfriend to his family. It was a nerve-wracking decision but they both decided to let their families, close friends, and close colleagues their true relationship status.
“Hey, you okay?” P’Ice said as she noticed Win thinking deeply about something.
“Yup, just thinking about stuff.” Win replied, smiling
“Stop thinking about work! Just relax, okay? We’re here to celebrate P’s special day.” his sister smiled and kissed his cheeks.
Win laughed and followed P’Ice to the event hall where the engagement ceremony will be held.
After 2 hours of pictorial with the couple and their respective families, they are now waiting in front of the hotel for their car to take them to the hotel where the official wedding ceremony will be held. The wedding will be at 7pm so they have time to take more pictures and rest up before the ceremony.
While waiting, Win took out his phone and saw a text from Bright.
B: “Hey, we just finished the shoot for today. How are you? I’ll head to the spa first my back is killing me. :( “
W: “We just finished the engagement ceremony and the photoshoot, we’re headed back to the hotel just waiting for the car.
But what happened to your back? Are you okay?”
B: “Yup, I just pulled a muscle while working out yesterday. Just a quick massage will do the trick.”
W: “Okay. Please be careful next time, na?”
B: “Yup, I will :*”
W: “We’re still on for later?”
B: “Yes! nobody can stop me from going. That’s also why I want to go to the spa. I need to look presentable and not look like I haven’t slept in a week.”
W: “You always look good to me.”
B: “Sweet words will get you anywhere, mister”
W: “Well, I don’t want to be anywhere else except to be next to you.”
B: “HAHAHAHAHA your sappiness is showing, Metawin.”
W: “Only with you, love ;)”
B: “ I love you so much. I need to go though, love. See you later?”
W: “I love you too! And see you :*”
Win was occupied with texting Bright that he didn’t notice Ming standing beside him.
“Everything’s okay?” P’Ming asked as she looped her arm around Win’s, their family, P’Ice, P’Warm, and Mick talking behind them.
“Yeah, I was just texting Bright.” Win replied as he pocketed his phone.
“Oh, he is still coming tonight?”
“Yeah, he is.”
“Good, I’m excited to see him again and I know mom and dad are too.”
“Yeah, I’m starting to think they like Bright more than me.” Both siblings laughed “Are you still okay with us doing it today, though? I understand if you don’t want to.”
“Oh hush, we already told you that it’s not a problem silly. Also, it’s convenient since the whole family is gathered today. Don’t worry, okay na?”
“Okay, thank you P.” Win smiled and held his sister’s hand
“No problem, silly. It’s nice to see you smiling like that. I’m happy for you.”
“Hey, should I be the one saying that? It’s your wedding day after all.”
P’Ming laughed, “You could say it back to me, you know.”
“I’m so happy for you P’ You deserve all the happiness and love in the world.” Win hugged and kissed Ming’s forehead
“Stop, don’t make me cry. It’ll ruin my makeup.” Both siblings laughed as Ming playfully slapped Win’s arm
“Hey, no crying we haven’t started the wedding yet!” Mick jokingly commented and made their whole party laugh.

After 3 years in the entertainment industry, Win had already sung numerous songs in different stages and each one is memorable to him. But tonight singing for his sister’s wedding beats all those events. He never imagined that his first song will be the song that his sister and future brother-in-law will be using as they walk down the aisle. He honestly wanted to cry because of the overwhelming love he feels for the couple before him, but he suppresses it because it was not his moment, it was theirs. Win is there to make the moment more beautiful and memorable for them, and he will.

The wedding was a went by with no problems, overall it was a success. It went without a hitch and they are happily celebrating with the newlyweds. Win was busy taking pictures with his family when he felt his phone vibrate.
B: “I’m here. I’m with P’Eed now. See you. <3”
Win can’t help the smile that formed on his lips and decided to head out the hall to meet Bright.
Bright, P’Eed, and members of their glam team who were also invited were walking towards the entrance when they saw Win.
Being conscious of the people around them Bright and Win hugged quickly when they finally stood in from of each other.
“Sorry I arrived late. I accidentally slept during the massage.” Bright said, slightly scratching his nape. Win and the people from their team laughed, Bright can really sleep anywhere especially when he’s tired.
“It’s okay. The afterparty just started.”
Win looked behind Bright to address P’Eed and the others “Ah uhm guys, you can head inside I just need to say something to Bright.”
The others headed inside but P’Eed paused slightly before heading “Be quick, okay boys?”
“Yup, will do.”
When the others are inside, Win quickly pulled Bright to an adjacent small room beside the hall where the party is held. Once the door was closed Win pulled Bright in a tight hug.
“Hey, you okay?” Bright asked while rubbing Win’s back
“Yeah, I just need to hug you before we face them.” Win said and hid his face in the older’s should. “And I just missed you.”
Bright chuckled and tighten his arms around Win, “I missed you too, love.” and kissed Win’s temple
“Okay, are you ready?”
“Yes. Let’s do this!”
Both Win and Bright headed inside the hall to where the party is. They decided that even though they are finally introducing Bright as Win’s boyfriend they will avoid PDAs since the wedding is still a public event and anyone from the guests can post pictures that will be exposed to the public. So, holding hands or doing couply stuff is still a no-go. They only wanted Win’s family and closest friends to know, not the whole world, Well, not yet anyway they’ll get to that eventually.
The party was in full swing when they entered, people are taking photos, happily dancing, and congratulating the newlyweds.
They decided to head to Win’s family first to talk to his parents and grandparents, but before they were able to head to the table where Win’s family is sitting they were interrupted by people asking to take selfies with them. Being the gentlemen they are they took each photo request with a smile. After 10 minutes of taking pictures with the guests, they finally reached the table where Win’s parents and grandparents are sitting.
The table they are sitting at is positioned slightly away from the dancing and singing crowd which gives them a semblance of privacy.
“Mom, Dad, Bright’s here.”
Win’s parents turned to them and smiled.
“Bright! It’s good to see you. How are you, son?” Papa Wanchai after shaking his hand
“I’m doing good. Still busy but I can handle it.”
“It’s good to see you again, Bright. How is your mom?” asked Mama Ole as Bright leaned to kiss her cheeks.
“She’s at home with Ame. Oh, she wanted me to thank you for the recipe you shared with her. She loved it.”
“Oh, that’s good! Don’t worry I share some more that I can share with her.” Mama Ole then turned to her husband, “Oh hon, remind me to look for the recipe book I have at home, ok?”
“Okay, dear but let me remind you that I’m also forgetful.”
Mama Ole sighed and lightly slapped her husband’s shoulder. “Metawin, you remind me too?”
“Mom, you know you can put that as a reminder on your phone right?” Win said amusement evident in his voice, while Bright is trying his best not to laugh too loud.
“I don’t know how to do that It’s easier to get one of you to remind me.”
“Moooommm” Win whined, Bright laughed he loves how silly and fun Win’s parents are. For outsiders, they might seem cold and proper, but when you get to know them they are really warm and welcoming people. It’s no wonder that Win is also the same.
“Besides, don’t you want me and your boyfriend’s mother to be besties?” Mama Ole commented which made both boys freeze. It is the first time that Win’s parents acknowledged their relationship in person.
“H-how did you know?”
“Oh Win, you are my son, of course I know.” Mama Ole approached Win and cupped his face. “Also, your sister slipped when I saw that Bright’s name on the guest list. She even said, “Of course, Ma. Win invited his boyfriend to the wedding.” Your sister has been so stressed because of the wedding preparation she didn’t even notice what she said to me. ” she laughed, finding the whole scenario amusing.
“Oh… and you are okay with it?”
“Yes, why wouldn’t we be? You make each other happy and that’s what’s important to me.”
Mama Ole then turned to Bright who was silently standing by Win, “You already know that we adore you, Bright. You are a good kid and we saw how you took care and adore Win. We fully support you and Win, okay? We are happy to see you both happy, you both deserve it.” Mama Ole said as she held both Win and Bright’s hands.
“We already consider you as a part of this family, Bright.” Papa Wanchai said
Both of them let out a breath they were holding, Win hugged his mom tightly and Bright shook hands with Papa Wanchai again. After letting her son go, Mama Ole turned to hug Bright “Please take care of each other, okay?”
Bright nodded and thanked Win’s parents.
Win turned to his parents and said, “Thanks mom, dad. For accepting our relationship.”
“We will love you no matter what, son. We are happy as long as you are happy, okay?”
“Okay.”
“Now, let’s take a picture!” Mama Ole said and they did. After a few shots, they were surprised when Win’s maternal grandmother approached them.
“Oh Win, is this Bright?”
“A-ah yes, grandma.”
“Let’s take a picture, dears! You both look so handsome. It’s no wonder why many people like you together.”
Bright laughed at how jolly and enthusiastic Win’s grandma is.
After a few shots, “Okay, Win move. Bright and I are going to take a picture.” which made the couple chuckle.
Once done, Win approached them. “Grandma, uhm I bought Bright here to introduce him as my boyfriend.”
The shock was evident in her face and after a few seconds she smiled and hugged both of them, “Oh my, that’s wonderful!”
“How long have you been together?”
“Few months,” Bright answered
“Oh, do your fans know?”
“We decided to let our families and close friends know first. We haven’t really decided when to disclose it to the public.”
“Besides they already suspect us to be in a relationship, we just wanted to be private about this for now.” Win looked at Bright, having one of their silent conversations.
“Well, I think that’s a smart idea. Whenever you finally decide to let the world know I’ll be here to support you.” she kissed both boys’ cheeks.
“Thank you, grandma.”
“Thank you for accepting us.”
“No need to thank me, boys. What you have is special and you must protect it, okay?”
Both Win and Bright nodded and hugged her.
After the introduction and photo spree, Win decided to let Bright breathe so they headed to another section in the hall where a table is set for his boyfriend. They both sat and Win allowed Bright to eat first since the other quickly headed to the venue after his spa schedule. While eating, Win saw his sister and new brother-in-law approach them.
“Congratulations!” Bright said as Ming and Warm sat down at the table. Win and Warm talked at the side while Ming approached Bright
“Thank you, Bright. Thank you for coming!” Ming said as she hugged Bright, “So, how’s the meeting the family agenda?”
“Going great, actually. You have a lovely family.”
“Thank you. Well, you are not hard to like, Bright.”
“Thank you P’”
“I already said this to Win but you really make him happy, you know. Thank you for that. He deserves it and you deserve it too.”
“Thank you for accepting us and for letting us do this at your wedding.”
“Oh, it’s not a problem! All I want is to make my brothers happy and experience the love I experience now.” Bright almost teared up as he realized that Ming considered him as one of her brothers already.
“And Win was so cutely adorable when he was asking permission to do this.” Ming laughed at the memory. “Did you know that when I agreed and told him it’s no big deal, he was so happy he bought me my wedding shoes!”
Bright laughed, so that’s why Win was suddenly on a shoe shopping spree with his sisters the other day.
After Bright ate they decided to take a picture with the newlyweds, and this triggered another round of people asking Bright and Win for a picture. They were even invited to sing which the couple thoroughly enjoyed. After singing they decided to just enjoy the party dancing and talking with the guests, they even managed to finally introduce Bright to Win’s close friends. They congratulated the couple and expressed their support for them.

Bright already knew that Win planned something for his birthday he just doesn’t know what, so it was no surprise for him when by 11:00 Win asked him to move to a separate room he booked in the hotel.
When they entered the room their glam team and P’Eed were already there, he was also surprised to see Dew and Nani sitting on one of the sofas in the room. The people in the room are their closest workmates so they both decided to include them in the loop about their current relationship status.
“Guys, we have something to say,” Bright said as the people in the room turned their attention to him and Win.
“The people in this room are the people we trust the most in this industry, so we just want to let you know that Bright and I are in a relationship.”
For a few seconds, nobody said anything which made the couple nervous.
“We just hope you support us and please, don’t let our fans know yet. We are not ready to go public but since you are our team and close friends, we decided to let you know.” Bright rambled as he was still nervous because of the lack of reaction
They were surprised when their team, P’Eed, Dew, and Nani started clapping and congratulating them. P’Eed approached them and hugged them both
“Oh, I’m so happy for you, my boys. You know you can always count on me to protect you.” she hugged both of them and kissed their cheeks.
“Thank you, Mae. We love you.”
“Congrats, dudes! You’ll finally get your head out of your asses.” Nani joked as he also hugged the couple.
“Congrats P! I guess, you’re really my work parents now huh?” both Win and Bright laughed
After their announcement, people started to go back to their conversations and while Bright was distracted with Nani and Dew, Win slipped out of the room to get ready.
At exactly 12 midnight, the light in the room turned off and Win walked in holding a cake for Bright.
The people in the room started to sing happy birthday but Win’s voice is all Bright can hear. As he closed his eyes to make a wish, he caught the glimpse of Win’s smile. He wished for more years of health and happiness for his family and himself, but most importantly he wished to be with the man in front of him for a long time.
