Work Text:

Coming home to their dorm was uneventful as normal. Don't get him wrong, Hyunjin loves that he now has his own room, and doesn't have to share as much space with seven other boys. But damn does it get lonely. And sometimes after a long day of practice, all Hyunjin wants to do is come home and have either some crazy ass conversations, or some down to earth ones that normally end with cuddles.

But instead, he comes home and not a light is on except for the one above the kitchen stove. There's no noise except for the fans in each room, running to help the air conditioning keep the house cool. Hyunjin sighs as he sets his bag down in a chair in the kitchen. It's already 9:45 and he guesses he'll just order in some food seeing as he has no idea when 3racha will be back, and is in no mood to cook.

He also figured he should go ahead and order enough food to feed four mouths. In the end, Dominos is the website he's ordering from and with a 20 minute wait time, he decides to take a quick shower. After being nothing but hot and sweaty, the cool water feels great on his skin, especially on his face. Sadly it only takes a couple minutes for him to feel satisfied and get cold before he's turning the temperature to boiling.

10 Minutes later he's stepping out of the shower and faced with a fogged up mirror. Hyunjin's childish side can't help but draw a smiley face that Jisung will end up finding later when the steam is gone and nothings left but his finger oils. Because he'd ordered pizza, some grey lounge pants and grey hoodie seemed perfect for the night as Hyunjin knows he'll end up in front of the TV for a hot minute as he enjoys the pizza.

Right after he slips on his hoodie, the doorbell rings and Hyunjin can't help the watering his mouth is already doing. The exchanges at the door are quick and sweet, Hyunjin making sure to thank the man and give him a little extra of a tip for his hard work. Next he's closing the door with four boxes of pizza in hand that are making his senses melt.

Not long after he'd gotten the pizza, he finds himself sat on the sofa, a box of pizza in front of him along with a bottle of coke, as he watches whatever drama appeared on the screen first. It's times like this where Hyunjin actually doesn't mind being alone. He can talk to himself, rant about the stupid decisions the drama characters are making. He can think and talk his mind without someone else's opinion jumping in.

He enjoys this time while it's lasts, because two hours later, he hears chatter at the dorm door.

"Sung really?"

"What? I couldn't just leave him, it's raining!"

"Okay so where do you plan on keeping it?"

"My room?"

"Fine, but it's your responsibility, maybe even get Minho to help out."

"I cannot believe you just let him keep that Hyung. That's a walking, breathing Minho Hyung attractor."

As he listens, Hyunjin wonders what could be such a 'Minho Hyung attractor,' and what Changbin must be so surprised to see Chan letting Jisung keep. A part of it worries him just because it is Jisung, but it must not be so bad if Chan has given him the okay to keep whatever it may be. The door opens and once Jisung is in Hyunjin's sight, he freezes.

Jisung is holding a Kitten.

And really it would be all fine and well if Hyunjin didn't have a Semi Deadly Cat allergy. Just as he wants to say something about this situation, Jisung is rubbing his face against the cats face, giggles ringing out as he does so. Chan and Changbin share nothing but a look of adoration and so Hyunjin stays quiet. He likes seeing his members happy, and sometimes he guesses he doesn't mind putting his own needs aside. Even if they are detrimental.

Jisung spots Hyunjin and a big grin breaks out on his face, "Jinnie look!" He holds the cat up like he's in the Lion King and Hyunjin can't help but chuckle. And as Jisung comes closer Hyunjin has to force himself to stay put despite the begging urge to scoot away. Thankfully Jisung doesn't come too close because he notices the boxes of pizza on the kitchen counter. So instead, he sets the kitten down on the floor and rushes to wash his hands.

Hyunjin watched with weary eyes as the kitten walks around, and all Hyunjin can think is that this little kitten is taking over his safe territory. When 3racha joins him on the couch with their food, Hyunjin can't help but subtly watch the kitten who is currently asleep at Jisungs legs as he listens to them rant.

"How was your dance practice Jin?" His eyes whip up from the cat to look at Chan. "Oh—it was good! It was really just some touch ups here and there but still."

Chan smiles, "That's good. We got some more tracks for Oddinary finalized. Now they just need the vocals." They started talking about their upcoming comeback and Hyunjin totally forgot about the cat for a while until he felt something fluffy at his own feet. Holding in a squeal because he knew damn well what it was, he looked down with a sarcastic smile.

"H-Hey kitty~"

He tried to nudge it in Jisungs direction with his foot but the kitten just wouldn't give. "What should we name it Hyungs?" Jisung questioned as he reached down to grab the fur ball. Hyunjin released a breath he didn't know he was holding. "How about...Kyo?"

Hyunjin guessed they had already figured out the cats gender because Changbins suggestion had Chan and Jisung quickly agreeing.

Another hour passed and Hyunjin not only was tired, but was getting some subtly reactions that drove him insane. He'd gained a headache and his nose felt itchy, but he couldn't mess with either of these without getting attention. So after saying goodnight, he excused himself to bed, but not before taking a couple allergy pills he had in his room.

————

"There's a cat at your dorm?!?" Let's just say Minho was in a loud mood and for the rest of practice he wanted nothing but to be done and meet the cute feline. Jisung seemed to be proud of himself for finding the kitten, even more so for taking it in. Hyunjin could only sit and listen to his groups excited banters about a cat that he was scared of. How comical.

It was disappointing to see that his group forgot about this allergy. In any other sense, they seemed to remember, but when given the option to have a cat in the dorm, no one seemed to recollect a certain someone's cat allergy. No biggie. He'd just stay away and make it look normal. Hyunjin would just have to make an excuse every time, he'd just have to hide the reactions.

Later that day when they were at his dorm, he realized another thing. Not only did it bring a bit of extra happiness to his members, he was sure having a cat around made Minho feel at home. Hyunjin was really the only one that could see his own pet with the snap of his fingers. He was sure Minho missed his cats, and maybe having Kyo around would make him feel better.

So once again, when Hyunjin's nose started itching, and his eyes felt like they were on fire, he hid it and instead claimed he wanted to take a nap. He was happy to see that Seungmin also wanted to take one, so he gladly opened his nap invite to him. And so now the two were bundled up in his bed.

"What are your thoughts on Kyo?" Seungmin questioned. The boy, as of now, had forgotten the about Hyunjin's allergy. But he did know that Hyunjin was much more of a dog person than cat. "He's cute."

Seungmin pouted. "That's it?"

Hyunjin turned his head slightly to see Seungmin's pout. "Well, I mean he is cute. Cats just aren't my cup of tea." Because i'm allergic to them.

"I noticed. You seem to do everything in your power to not have any interactions with it." Seungmin told him, pulling Hyunjin closer to the point that Hyunjin's head lay on Seungmin's chest. It was nice and Hyunjin found Seungmin's heartbeat very calming.

"I dunno, a part of me worries that maybe it'll become violent. It is a feral cat." Hyunjin was making up bullshit at this point. Seungmin himself seemed to enjoy the cat, and Hyunjin wasn't going to have the cat kicked out because he was being selfish.

"Maybe, but it seems to be really calm. I think it's already adjusting well." Ah, Perfect. Hyunjin had to stop himself from rolling his eyes. "But there seems to be more than it just possibly being feral....?"

Hyunjin shook his head. "No, it's nothing Min. Just me being paranoid." He snuggled further into Seungmin's embrace, unable to see Seungmin's frown grow. "If you're that paranoid Jin maybe you should tell Chan."

"And be the reason the cute fur ball is gone? No thanks." Seungmin huffed at Hyunjin's response, but didn't question him any further. Instead, the blonde locks on his chest, that no, weren't as long anymore but still long enough, seemed in need of being played with. So he braided small tufts here and there, swirled strands of hair around his finger, and massaged his fingers against Hyunjin's scalp. It didn't take long for small snores to be heard, if Hyunjin's silence hadn't been enough of a clue.

And despite his hair not being played with, Seungmin found his own eyes getting heavy. But just before he could fully close them, Hyunjin's bedroom door opened, and Jisung's head popped through. "Hey, do you want the cat to sleep with you guys? He's already asleep so I could just lay him on the comforter."

Seungmin was going to deny Jisungs offer, but maybe this would help Hyunjin get comfortable and be less paranoid of the kitten, so he agreed. Minutes later when he was closing his eyes again, this time there was a small ball of fur sleeping soundly in the small space between he and Hyunjin.

————

Hyunjin woke up to possibly the biggest sneeze of his life. Not to mention, it hurt too seeing as his nose was suddenly stuffed, barely being able to breathe out of either nostril. His throat felt scratchy and his eyes felt too puffed to open. Though He did open them, and realized that they were indeed a bit puffy. He questioned why he was having an allergic reaction and why it seemed to be so strong, but that was quickly answered by the fur ball sitting right in front of him.

Hyunjin yelped, and the kitten suddenly fled from the bed, and into where ever he may now be hiding. Hyunjin groaned, Who put that damn cat in his room? Who even thought it was a good idea?! Noting that Seungmin was no longer with him, Hyunjin climbed out of bed, immediately searching for his allergy medicine. There was no way he could go out their looking like and infected dumpling.

That would bring too much attention. Getting the pills down and into his system, he decided to look for the cat. With the meds now in him, he might be able to handle picking the cat up, but only to get it out of his room. Thus he started looking behind and under dressers, his closet that was wide open and thank god the cat wasn't in there. Eventually he found the cat under his bed, curled into a little ball. Hyunjin was surprised he even spotted the cat seeing as it was a ball of black fur. Oddly enough, it made him think of Changbin.

He reached out to grab the cat and cringed as his hands made contact. The cat seemed to cringe too seeing as while Hyunjin carefully pulled it out from under the bed, it was swinging it's paws and making little cuts all over Hyunjin's hand. Regardless of the medication he'd just taken, the cuts swelled quite quickly and Hyunjin wanted nothing but to drop kick the cat.

Don't get him wrong, cats could be cute, especially kittens. But this one was just setting off each and every allergy reaction and he was sick of it. Literally. With the cat still in his hold, he went to open his bedroom door to let the feline roam elsewhere. Upon opening his door though, there stood Jisung and Minho, both grinning like idiots.

"We were actually about to come steal him from you." Being tired of the cat, Hyunjin shoved it into Jisungs hands, maybe a tad bit too aggressively, "Go ahead, take it, I couldn't care less." Then closed his door so he wouldn't have to face the angry cat mom that Minho was—and that Jisung would become under the influence of Minho.

He heard Minho scoff, "What's his problem?"

"Prolly mad at all the attention this little cutie is stealing." Was Jisungs reply. Hyunjin really wanted to fling the door back open and tell them off, tell them that really that little cutie could kill him. Maybe that was a bit extra, but it did hold some truth if he was around the cat too much and too closely. It was getting really hard to keep his allergy to himself just so the others could be happy.

If Minsung were gonna be jerks over something they didn't truly understand, Hyunjin might just out himself. (And then proceed to take the cat to a shelter because in the end he couldn't put the kitten back on the streets. Despite his allergy, he wasn't that cruel).

He quickly rubbed some alcohol and put some healing ointment over the cuts. Then, After sitting on his phone for 15 minutes, allowing his reactions to fade to the point of no one noticing, Hyunjin opened his door once again. This time there was no one there, but he could hear the noises coming from the lounge area. He really didn't want to be anywhere near the cat anymore, but he didn't want to raise suspicion. So Hyunjin sauntered off into the living room, and low and behold there was everyone surrounding the ball of fluff.

Somehow Minho already had some cat toys for it to play with, so really, each member was taking turns waving the sting attached to a stick in the cats face. Jeongin spotted him first, and excitedly patted the empty space next to him. Who was he to deny affection from the maknae? So regardless of the cat a couple feet away, Hyunjin sat down next to Jeongin and immediately was in the youngers space.

"Did you have a nice nap?" Jeongin whispered. The youngest actually had considered joining the Seungjin duos nap, but cowered away seeing as he couldn't let down his affection wall. (He wanted to join so badly, but really there was no room on Hyunjin's bed).

"Yup! Well, at least until I woke up to that on my bed." Hyunjin pointed at the kitten and Jeongin followed the point. "Why? What's wrong with it?"

"I'm not the biggest cat person Innie."

Jeongin dropped the conversation, and instead of focusing on the cat, focused on the Hyung clinging to him.

————

Hyunjin really thought he'd be able to escape the cat at dance practice, and he had been able to for two weeks. But this time, Jisung suggested bringing the kitten along, and no one refused. (Hyunjin would've but that would make him stand out would it not? Either way it would've been one against seven).

Hyunjin really wouldn't have minded it, except practice had not been taken seriously when It needed to be seeing as their comeback was in less than a month. They'd get maybe a song or two in and then spend a good 30 minutes playing with the kitten. And even when they did dance, Hyunjin watched his members eyes follow the kitten through the mirror.

He understood that the kitten was cute, but this was driving him absolutely insane.

After two 'play sesssions' during practice, Hyunjin's nose was again was stuffed and his throat burned. Now, not only was his practice being taken over by a kitten, but was going to be even more difficult because his breathing would be a wreck. After doing Domino, Thunderous and Wolfgang, the group sat down again for another kitten session.

Feeling like shit and not getting the practice done the way it was supposed to, words escaped Hyunjin's mouth before he could fathom them. "Can we never bring this cat to practice again?"

Heads turned his way, of course they did. Minho and Jisung looked mad, while the others looked shocked and confused.

"Why?" Chan had finally asked, wondering what had gotten their normally passive llama in a pissy mood.

"Can't you see?! We've barely gotten anything done and our comeback is is less than a month.  We've practiced 9 songs and spent a good hour if not more with that thing!" He pointed at the cat once more as if it were a murderer. Jisung pulled the cat into his embrace, as if to protect it from the accusing finger.

"Or maybe your just jealous? I know your clingy and like our attention, but now that it's given to Kyo, your upset? You're Jealous?" Minho accused with venom laced in his tone.

Hyunjin was anything but jealous. In fact, he's once again shocked that anyone would make this assumption. "I could never be jealous over a damn cat." Minho huffed and rolled his eyes.

"Then maybe your being a big baby, as in, you're scared of the cat?" Before Hyunjin could tell Jisung off, Jisung was standing up, the cat in hand. He was taking big step towards Hyunjin and said boy couldn't help but take a step back. That seemed to fuel Jisungs accusation. "So you are scared of it! How the hell are you scared of this?" He was getting closer and Hyunjin was running out of room to back away.

"I mean looked at it. It's just a ball of fluff! Heck it's smaller than Kkami, and kinda cuter." Jisung mumbled the last part, and Hyunjin did hear it, and wanted to refute that statement, but Jisung was too close for comfort, the cat in his hands looking like a weapon.

"Jisung—"

Hyunjin was glad someone tried to stop the boy, but Chan's words seemed to go unnoticed. And when he was now back against the mirror with Jisung getting closer, Chan's eyes were the first he made a pleading contact with. Hyunjin's eyes begged Chan to stop Jisung because something had gotten into the boy and there was no way he'd listen to Hyunjin.

Chan had gotten up now, becoming quite angry when he noticed that Hyunjin was in fact afraid. "Jisu—"

Jisung was right In front of Hyunjin, as like it happened in slow motion, the cat was brought directly in front of Hyunjin's face. Jisung brought it so close in fact that Hyunjin really was met with a ball of fur to the face, the cat hairs suddenly feeling like fire. Fire on his skin, fire in his lungs as he breathed, fire everywhere and Jisung just wouldn't remove the freaking cat.

Although taking a couple pieces of cat fur to the mouth, it was Hyunjin who finally spoke next. "JISUNG FUCKING STOP!!"

It was more of a beg, there was no malicious intent, but rather, the poor boy was already feeling tears roll down his cheeks.

It was all too much. The fear of the cat, the panic, then the allergic reactions that really he hadn't ever been able to escape for two weeks. He was extremely overwhelmed and could feel the stronger reactions coming head on. This wasn't just being in the same room as the cat, this was inhaling the cats scent and having extremely close contact.

The cat was violently pulled away, but instead of being able to breathe like he wanted, Hyunjin still felt like he was suffocating. His throat felt like it was closing up on him, his nose was so damn itchy and was getting more and more stuffed as the seconds went by. Anything that was touched by the cat felt like it was on fire, which then just only turned into a need to scratch.

So he sobbed as he slid down the mirror, violently scratching at his face and neck, which was now littered with hives. They were scattered up and down his neck, and appeared at random places on his face. Then it was his eyes that started to itch, and so Hyunjin could do nothing but rub at them and continue to sob because none of it would stop.

As Hyunjin sat there, his breathing turned erratic, coming out in short gasps as he cried. But being too overwhelmed by everything else, he hadn't even noticed.

Outside of Hyunjin's digressed state, there was Jisung, standing in shock ever since Hyunjin had begged for him to take the cat away. He hated that he knew what was wrong the moment Hyunjin slid to the floor. He hated that his mind immediately replayed a memory from two years ago, the moment Hyunjin told them he was allergic to cats.

Chan was racing past Jisung in an instant as he too just remember something so damn important he felt so ashamed that he even forgot it. He crouched down in front of Hyunjin who was still a sobbing, scratching, gasping mess. This was bad, and really Chan had no idea how to fix it. "Jinnie hey," he reached out to put an arm on the boys shoulder, letting him know by touch he was there.

"Do you think you could calm down for me? At least get your breathing to a more manageable state?" Chan knew that the gasps weren't just by the anxiety the boy felt, but also by the bits of swelling in the boys throat. But he wouldn't be able to help at all until the anxiety part was fixed. Chan took Hyunjin's hand and placed right over his own chest, then looked him straight in the eyes with nothing but adoration.

Hyunjin met his eyes and Chan smiled. "Hey bud, let's just follow my breathing yeah?" He took a big breath in, and Hyunjin followed, a big breath out, and Hyunjin followed. There were a few times where Hyunjin panicked after choking on a breath, but eventually, his breathing became a bit more stable. Stable enough Chan wasn't too worried about the boy suffocating anymore. He noticed Felix rush over to Hyunjin's bag, immediately searching for something Chan didn't know what until the boy pulled out a small bottle of pills.

Felix quickly was at Chan's side with the small bottle of pills and a bottle of water, "Allergy pills, he needs at least two for now." Chan nodded as he eagerly reach out his hand for Felix to place to pills on. He took the bottle of water and looked back at Hyunjin. He cringed knowing nothing would feel good on the boys throat right now, but for the swelling to even go down, this was necessary.

"Do you think you could take these pills for me real quick Hyune?" He heard the boy whimper and his heart broke a bit. Even if his breathing had calmed, the hives and puffy eyes didn't settle. Eventually Hyunjin nodded, taking the pills from Chan and popping them into his mouth. Chan than gave him the water bottle and he took a big swig to ensure that the pills went down.

With the pills now able to start working, Hyunjin fully slumped against the mirror. He forgot how much the reactions exhausted him, and it didn't help that he still felt like shit and wanted to badly to rub at his eyes and scratch his neck and face. Minutes later, In his Allergy haze, Chan had picked him up, his head now lying on his Hyungs shoulder. He slumped even further into his Hyungs hold and if his condition wasn't so bad Chan would've cooed at his clingy dongsaeng.

"Come on, practice is over. And Minho, Jisung," Both boys eagerly turned to their Hyung, "Please take the cat to Minhos dorm. We can address where it goes after we settle this situation first." Even in his tired state Hyunjin could hear the anger in Chan's tone. And a part of him was happy someone was finally putting the cat duo in their place—despite him not reminding anyone of the allergy.

Hyunjin really didn't think Jisung and Minho would get so defensive over the cat, so much so they thought he was jealous or feared the cat. I mean he did somewhat fear the cat, but it still shocked him that Jisungs solution to that was to shove the cat in his face.

From where his head was perched on Chan shoulder, Felix came to the back of Chan to face him. "Hi~"

Hyunjin probably looked like and idiot when he smiled. He normally had an eye smile whenever he smiled, but he couldn't imagine how he looked with his puffy eyelids. Felix cooed though, lightly squeezing one of his cheeks. "Aish our Jinnie is so cuteee~"

Hyunjin hid his face in the crook of Chan's neck and just by the vibrations he felt, he knew Chan was laughing. Once Felix finally left him alone—not that he was being annoying, rather was just making Hyunjin flustered—Hyunjin watched Jisung and Minho leave, the kitten in Jisungs hold. The two both had a frown on their face, whether it was because the outcome of the kittens whereabouts was unknown, or they felt bad about Hyunjin's allergic reaction.

But they didn't say anything, nor did Hyunjin as they left the studio. After they'd left, Jeongin grabbed Hyunjin's bag and his own while the others got their own bags and Felix grabbed Chan's. Hyunjin still just watched in a daze, his eyes still pretty puffy for him to even see much anyway. He didn't mind it anymore though, he was very comfortable in Chans hold. Thankfully they did get to the company by car, so Hyunjin didn't have to worry about Chan carrying him all the way home.

Hyunjin was set in a middle seat between Felix and Changbin, the older of the two immediately becoming cuddly with him. Jeongin had called shotgun and poor Seungmin was stuck in the back row alone. Though due to the fact that Changbin basically stole Hyunjin, Felix kept turning around to converse with the puppy.

Mid drive, Chan turned to face Hyunjin at a stop light. "Do you think we need to go to the doctor?" Hyunjin shook his head lightly. The worst reaction was the swelling in his throat, and that seemed to be fading the most right now. The rest weren't as detrimental and should be back to normal in a couple weeks. Hyunjin explained this to Chan, in which the eldest nodded hesitantly, but kept driving in the direction of the dorm nevertheless.

By the time they'd gotten back to the dorm, Hyunjin was surprised to see Jisung and Minho doing some cleaning around his dorm. Jisung was currently vacuuming while Minho dusted. Hyunjin was going to question their doings when Changbin told him it might be best to go shower and get any cat hair remains off him that way he could start fully recovering.

He wouldn't argue against a shower as he did feel gross and itchy. But as he stood in the shower thinking over Changbins words, Jisung and Minho suddenly cleaning made sense. The cat had spent a good two weeks in this dorm. Meaning it's hair and skin cells were everywhere. The two were most likely cleaning to help get rid of some of the cats remains, and like Changbin had said, so that Hyunjin could get better.

The shower felt absolutely amazing. Regardless if there was cat fur on him or not, the itchiness made it feel like he did, and the water seemed to wash it off. He'd stick his face under the water and let it hit his face for a couple of minutes, relishing in the smooth touch the water had on his face. Though the longer he stayed in the shower, the more tired he got. He was really just ready to climb in bed and get cuddled to death.

So after 25 minutes of washing away 'cat hair' that had surely been gone the moment he was under the water, Hyunjin got out. As he was drying off, he got carried away for a moment with how nice the towel felt against the hives still on his neck and cheeks. It was a soft scratch, one his finger nails could never give.

Once dry, he clothed himself in a pair of black shorts and a grey loose hoodie. He didn't want to be fully covered in clothes such as longer pants seeing as he did still feel a bit constricted. Before he left, Hyunjin pulled out a anti-scratch ointment he had in his stash of medicines, for the rare occasions he did suffer from the hives. The coolness of the ointment felt relieving and Hyunjin let out a happy sigh.

Upon leaving his room, he was greeted with everyone cleaning the dorm, though they looked like they were just finishing up. He does recall cleaning going way faster when all of the cleaned together, so it was no surprise.

The more he looked at what everyone was doing, he noticed Minho and Jisung doing a lot more cleaning than everyone else. In fact, Felix looked like he moved on to making some sort of desert, Chan was on the phone and with what he was talking about, no doubt a take out place. Seungmin and Jeongin were setting up what looked like a cuddle pallet in the living room, and Changbin had just finished washing dishes that had been left in the sink. (Hyunjin thinks that even though they were cleaning to get rid of the cat hair, Chan went ahead and made Changbin do dishes while everyone was in the cleaning mood).

The two youngest spotted him first, where Hyunjin had just been standing in his doorway. "Hyung it's official! No more cat hair!" Jeongin seemed very excited about the matter, "We even changed our clothes so that there wasn't any cat hair on them from practice!" Seungmin added. Despite there being two separate dorms, it was normal for someone from the other dorm to stay over. So yes, there was a spare closet in the hallway that had clothes just for the four in the other dorm.

Hyunjin smiled. He was glad that the youngest didn't seem upset. A part of him was still worried that some would be upset seeing as he was the reason the cat would have to go somewhere else. "We also made a cuddle pallet. And look!" Jeongin pointed to a cat stuffed animal, "Minho brought a cat stuffed animal so you could feel like you could hang around a cat without getting sick!"

Minho did that? Hyunjin wanted to cry. He knew his Hyung was very sweet, and in a way, he understood how protective of the cat Minho got. So seeing that Minho wasn't mad at him, but rather found a way for Hyunjin to enjoy a cat, made Hyunjin want to burst into tears. He was about to go find Minho when arms wrapped around him from behind.

"I'm sorry." Hyunjin could hear the sincerity in Minhos voice, but then again, his Hyung was always sincere in these kind of situations.

He held onto his Hyungs hands, squeezing them in reassurance. "It's fine Hyung, really. I think if i'd found a dog and one of you was allergic without my knowing, I might've acted the same way."

Hyunjin couldn't see it, but Minho pouted. "That still isn't an excuse for the way I acted. So this is my apology along with that stuffed cat. It's named is actually..." Hyunjin heard Minho take a deep breath. "It's name is actually Hyune. I guess I got a bit of separation anxiety when my roommate was put in another dorm..."

That was adorable and sad at the same time. So Hyunjin turned around in Minhos hold and hugged the older tightly. "Thank you Hyung, you're always forgiven."

"Can I be forgiven too?"

Hyunjin smirked in Minhos hold, "I dunno sung, can you?" He heard Jisung whine at his response. "Please? I'm really sorry, I was a bit of a jerk, and all because of a cat..." After one more tight squeeze, Minho let go of Hyunjin so that he could solve things with Jisung. And now Hyunjin was facing the quokka.

"Jisung you shoved the cat in my face." Hyunjin reminded him, his face a bit more stern. He'd love to forgive Jisung as easily as he did Minho, but it was a bit harder to. Jisung sighed, playing with his fingers. "Yeah I know...Please, what can I do to make you forgive me?"

Hyunjin saw the pleading look on the boys face and thought to himself for a moment. He really didn't want to make a selfish request despite Jisungs wrong doings, but a 'selfish' request was all he could think of. "Fine, you pay for my art supplies for the next month. But because i'm nice, i'll make sure i'm not making you go broke."

Jisung wasn't really sure what he expected from Hyunjin. He knew his wallet was still going to be in immense pain by the end of the month, but he guesses it's better than having Hyunjin ignoring him. Heck, maybe because he's buying the art supplies, Hyunjin will finally make him a painting.

"Deal."

Hyunjin smiled with his puffy eyes and brought Jisung into a hug this time. When they pulled apart the doorbell was ringing as Chan was seen opening the door. He gave a cheeky smile when he made eye contact with Hyunjin. "I know we had pizza only two weeks ago, but this is my apology for not remembering your allergy."

Hyunjin wasn't going to complain, not since he was hungry and the smell of the pizza was taunting him. So not even five minutes after the pizza was delivered, they were all piled at the table that was really only meant to sit 4. It was a tight fit, but it brought back old dorm memories where the table in their old kitchen was too small as well. They even joked about the three fridges, saying how despite the mess that they were, they missed them.

After pizza, When all the boys stomachs were full, that is until 11 pm would hit and everyone suddenly felt the need to find themselves eating pizza again, they all got comfy on the couch or cuddle pallet. Changbin, Hyunjin, Seungmin and Minho were bundled up on the cuddle pallet, while the rest got comfortable on the couch.

And Hyunjin found himself the most comfortable he'd been all day. He still felt icky from the reactions, and his neck and face were still littered with hives, despite the hives not being as angry and had lost there infuriating itch. He'd taken some more allergy pills right after dinner, and even though he'd only laid down a couple minutes ago, he was tired. Tired to the point that he blanked out for a couple moments, those sleepy moments where everything sounded further away, where everything almost sounded unreal.

Minho, who was on his right, noticed rather quickly that they were losing their drama llama to sleep. He cooed at the sight of the younger fighting to keep his eyes open, with his pouty lips and still semi puffy eyes. He looked like a real dumpling and Minho had to contain his air fryer joke. He pulled the younger closer, shooting Changbin a death glare when the boy tried to give him one for stealing away "His Hyune."

"Is he already asleep?" Felix asked from the couch with a small giggle, turning his attention away from the tv and to the cuddle pile on the floor. "Yup, out like a light." Minho whispered. Though he knew regardless of how loud he spoke, Hyunjin wouldn't stir. The boy already seemed to be in a dead sleep, and almost nothing would wake him at this point. Minho smiled at the sight of the boy passed out on his chest, his blonde hair fanned out giving him an angel look.

"Should we move him to his bed?" Jisung questioned, and Changbin immediately denied the idea. "Nah, you know damn well he ain't waking up, so he's chill out here."

So Hyunjin stayed, well as if he really had a choice in the matter. But he stayed, stayed in the embrace of his cat Hyung, the warmth of Minho and Changbin, the comfort of all the members in the room, and the calmness that finally settle over him.

And most of all, he stayed, stayed clinging onto the little cat stuffy named Hyune.
