-G0lly is not a sibling
-(past) used to be P03, pre-transition
-(current) somewhat age-regressed 'alter' of P03, still very much an adult, but a young and very sheltered one at that
-not actually an alter in the sense she's not technically a separate person from P03. Only comes out in specific conditions, almost never. again its more of just an age regression thing
-He passes her off as a separate program than him because he doesn't want people to know they're one in the same
-the thought of her makes P03 queasy both because the dysphoria and the shame he feels from once being so innocent. Makes him feel stupid.
-it's why he values intelligence so much now. Being smarter = less likely to get hurt, and he feels embarrassed he ever let himself get hurt. His ego and pretentiousness is a way to protect himself. Views everything about its past self as weakness.
-P03 pretends that he's a separate entity that "replaced" her instead of her "becoming" him because it doesn't want to admit he was once like that. That he was once G0lly
-It's a painful memory
-P03's voice still sounds like it used to sometimes. Especially when he's excited, or if something catches him off guard
-Secretly still holds its old sense of curiosity. But has more self control now
-also secretly enjoys its time with challengers. Just better at hiding it now
-if he's in a safe environment with people he can trust (or grow to trust) it'll let some of it's past mannerisms out here and there.
-good luck with that though. There is Nowhere Safe within Inscryption
-Despite how P03 views it, G0lly is not actually stupid. Nor is she gullible.
-she was just very optimistic and curious, and sometimes ignored risks because of it
-can be unintentionally passive aggressive. While it may be annoying coming from P03 nowadays, when it was coming from G0lly it was just funny.
-G0lly had 'weird girl' vibes. You know the ones
-P03 doesn't care about people using she/her on G0lly specifically
-mostly because people dont know its him
-too in denial to be bothered by it. Unless it's on a particularly bad day.
-no one really brings her up anymore anyways
-if someone compliments her in passing, it still gets flustered. Will never show that though.
-"yeah G0lly was pretty cute"
P03 on the outside: who cares [ -_- ]
P03 on the inside: [o///o]
-P03 genuinely wants his players to have fun. unless they annoy him
-The snarky remarks are meant to be playful, most the time.
-If you confront him about it he'll deny it and tell you to focus more on the game than him though.
-He may not be very expressive nowadays, but it does want people to actually enjoy it's game, after all. Maybe doesn't realize the cold demeanor could drive people away
-Or maybe it does realize that but is too scared or too stubborn to let itself relax
-P03 needs to forgive G0lly for its past. It needs to forgive itself
