Chapter 1: Sinfully beautiful

Chapter Text

Jimin sat in his classroom, gazing blankly at the whiteboard as his teacher explained the intricate details of the skeletal system. But his mind was far away, still caught up in the events of the previous day. His fingers clenched the edge of the desk, his knuckles turning white. His anger and restlessness bubbled within him like a pot ready to boil over.

He had always been fascinated with the werewolf body and how it functioned. It was what had driven him to pursue a career in medicine. But today, even that passion failed to hold his attention.

Jimin's clothes were rumpled and his hair unkempt, evidence of his sleepless night. Dark circles marred his usually bright and lively face. He looked a shadow of his former self.

He couldn't help but dwell on his situation. His father, Mr Park Sun-Kyun, was one of the wealthiest men in Korea, and Jimin had been raised in luxury. But unlike most of the kids in his social circle, Jimin wasn't a spoilt brat.

He took after his mother, an omega who had been an orphan before his grandfather had arranged her marriage to his alpha son. It was a marriage of convenience, a way to garner public sympathy and distract the media from their business troubles.

Jimin's father had never been affectionate towards his mother, and their marriage lacked the most crucial ingredient of all - love.

The memory of his mother's tears and the sound of his father's harsh words echoed in Jimin's mind. He felt trapped and suffocated by the weight of his family's expectations.

To escape his father's overbearing influence, Jimin had chosen to live in the university hostel, despite his alpha father's disapproval. It was a constant source of tension between them, but Jimin refused to back down.

As he sat there, lost in his thoughts, Jimin couldn't help but wonder if his life was truly "fucked up" beyond repair.

Jimin's eyes flickered with a mix of frustration and anger as he thought about the constant scrutiny he faced from the media. One wrong move could potentially bring his father's "business" crashing down - a business that he had never been interested in.

He shifted in his seat, his clothes feeling constricting against his skin. Jimin had always been stubborn about staying in the hostel, and it wasn't just because it was part of the university's policy. It was because he needed space to breathe, to concentrate.

The weather outside was gloomy, with dark clouds threatening to pour down any minute. But Jimin didn't mind. He was happy to be away from the suffocating environment of his "home" - if it could even be called that. It was a cold, sterile place, filled with expensive marble and crystal that only served to amplify his loneliness.

He longed for his mother and his alpha brother Yoongi. They were the only ones who truly understood him. But even their presence couldn't erase the constant pressure he felt to maintain a certain image.

Jimin was always on edge, his every move scrutinized by his father's loyal band of followers. Even when he was at home, he had to be careful about every little thing he did or said.

That's why Jimin was grateful for the occasional parties that his department held. It was the only time he could let loose and have fun with his peers. But even then, his father had imposed strict rules - no alcohol, no dancing. Jimin had to sit in a corner, sipping on a mocktail and watching enviously as his friends danced the night away.

Yesterday, however, his father had taken things a step further. He had called Jimin in the middle of a clinical surgery class and when Jimin didn't answer, his father's goons had barged into the classroom, causing a ruckus.

Jimin felt his blood boil as he thought about the incident. This was the one subject he struggled with, and missing just one class could mess everything up. He felt trapped, suffocated, and powerless.

*****

A DAY BEFORE:

Jimin arrived at the mansion and was led down one of the hallways. As he entered the room, he saw his parents and his older alpha brother, Yoongi. The younger alpha was fuming with anger, and it made Jimin nervous.

"You called father?" Jimin bowed in front of his parents and smiled at his mother, hoping to see some reassurance in her eyes. But all he saw was helplessness.

"You're getting engaged today." Jimin was stunned to hear his father's statement. His father spoke like it was just another ordinary thing, like buying a gift. Jimin opened his mouth to protest, but his father cut him off.

"And that's final. Your mother will help you prepare. You have two hours to get ready. Make sure you're flawless, and I know you won't disobey me," his father added, with an extra sweetness in his tone that made Jimin's skin crawl. He knew what would happen to his mother if he disobeyed.

Jimin just stared at the white marble ground, letting out a quiet "yes, father" while tears streamed down his face. His father paid no heed to his omega son's distress and walked away, his boots echoing through the hallway. Jimin turned to face his mother, who was now crying too. The room felt suffocating, the air heavy with tension and despair.

As Jimin's tears continued to stream down his face, he couldn't help but feel like his life was falling apart. The hallway was grand and luxurious, with expensive chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and marble flooring that shone like a mirror. Jimin's father was a man of wealth and power, and it showed in every inch of the mansion.

“Mother, you know I don’t want to get married soon. I’m just 20. I have 2 more damn years to complete my degree and… and… I can't afford to have any sort of distraction now… I missed today’s surgery class and you don't know how this is going to affect me. But marriage is different. Who knows that alpha of an idiot wants me to continue to pursue my dreams or nurse his pups?” Jimin's voice shook with emotion as he spoke.

As he struggled to come to terms with the situation, his alpha brother Yoongi wrapped him in a comforting embrace. Jimin could feel Yoongi's strong arms around him, but it did little to ease the turmoil in his heart.

“Jimin, my child, I know it's difficult. But your mother is helpless. So frail to be against your father. Think of it this way… what if this is going to transform your life? What if he is a nice person?" His mother's words did little to console him.

“Why is he selling me off for a damn business? Am I not his son?” Jimin couldn't hold back the anguish in his voice any longer.

“I’m sorry Jimin. Trust me, I tried, but you know how our father is. He has fixed his mind. I’m sorry my dear brother,” Yoongi's words were filled with regret as he pulled away from the embrace and walked out of the hallway.

Left alone with his mother, Jimin couldn't help but feel like he was being forced into a life he didn't want. The thought of being bound to an alpha who cared only about producing heirs while his dreams withered away filled him with despair. But as he looked into his mother's tear-streaked face, he knew that he had to put on a brave face for her sake.

“We should get ready my pretty omega. This is the fate of every omega in this world. We will always be under an alpha and they choose for us. Our job is to smile and bear their pups and be by their side as their mate,” Mrs. Park spoke, her voice heavy with sorrow.

Jimin couldn't bear to hear any more of it. He squirmed in his mother's embrace, desperate to escape this fate that had been imposed on him.

“Let’s get you ready. Rise up, omega. I know my pup is strong,” she said, planting a gentle kiss on his forehead and leading him to the changing room.

Jimin's heart was beating fast, he could feel it in his chest. He was nervous, angry, and sad all at the same time. He looked at himself in the mirror, his eyes red and puffy from crying. He hated this, he hated everything about it.

Jimin was dreading the moment when he had to remove his scent blockers. He knew that his unique scent, a blend of wild jasmine and lavender, could attract any alpha within his proximity, and he didn't want to take any chances today. But his father's orders were absolute, and the maids had already stripped him of his scent blockers while he was taking a bath.

As he emerged from the bathroom, his scent spiked up, making him feel vulnerable and exposed. His father's plan was clear - to present him as the perfect omega to his future mate, without any artificial barriers.

“Do I really have to wear this dress, mother?” Jimin asked, examining the flimsy red silky garment that barely covered him. He knew its purpose, to showcase his body to the alpha and entice him into mating. But Jimin couldn't bear the thought of being reduced to just a vessel for his alpha's pups.

“Only after your engagement, Jimin. It's customary to wear this in front of your mate. And you know why. You can wear a robe on top of it to cover at least something before I guide you to remove it. But for now, wear this gown,” his mother spoke, her voice laced with sadness.

Jimin hugged her tightly, taking in her calming scent. He knew that she was just as helpless as he was in the face of his father's will. He couldn't blame her for trying to make the best of a terrible situation.

As he got dressed, he couldn't help but feel like he was being robbed of his self-respect, of his right to choose his own mate and his own destiny. But he knew he had to put on a brave face, for his mother's sake if nothing else.

Jimin was adorned in a white gown that flowed down to his feet, with intricate lacework on the bodice and sleeves. His mother stood beside him, looking at him with pride and sadness in her eyes. Jimin couldn't help but feel like a doll, a mere object to be presented to the highest bidder.

“ You look beautiful my doll. You grew up so well,” his mother whispered, wiping away a stray tear. Jimin wasn't sure if it was a tear of happiness or sadness.

Suddenly, Yoongi barged in, interrupting their moment. “The guests have arrived,” he announced, his tone brusque and cold.

Jimin’s heart began to race even faster, and he couldn't find his voice to protest. His mother led him through the decorated halls, her grip on his hand tight and reassuring. He wanted to run, to escape this fate that was forced upon him.

As they entered the large hall, Jimin was met with a sea of unfamiliar faces, all dressed in their finest attire. The room was decorated with white flowers, creating an ethereal and serene atmosphere. Jimin's stomach churned as he searched for a familiar face, but all he could see were strangers.

In the midst of all this chaos, Jimin realized that he had forgotten to ask his father who he was getting engaged to. But did it even matter now? His fate was already sealed.

As Jimin stood frozen in front of the guests, he felt like the world was closing in on him. The suffocating scent of alphas made him dizzy, and he couldn't bring himself to look up from the floor tiles. His heart was racing, and he clung onto his father's hands tightly.

“Here comes Omega Park Jimin, your alpha son's soon-to-be mate,” Mr. Park announced, and the sound of his own name made Jimin's pulse quicken even more.

“Let’s waste no more time. Let’s get them engaged Mr. Park, and we have business to discuss after that,” Mr. Jeon said, his voice commanding and authoritative.

Jimin was handed a ring, and he exchanged it with the alpha without any emotion. His mind was numb, and his body felt like it wasn't his own.

“You look so beautiful as always, Jimin,” the alpha complimented him, but Jimin couldn't bring himself to respond.

“Stand closer now, young couple,” Mrs. Jeon chirped, and Jimin felt like he was suffocating even more as they applauded.

The photo session was torture, and Jimin's father had to warn him to smile for the cameras. He forced a smile, but it didn't reach his eyes.

As the guests bid their farewells and left, the two families were left alone in the silence of the grand hall.

“Jimin, take Jungkook to your room. Your mother will accompany you both,” Jimin’s alpha father commanded. Jimin's heart raced as he heard those words. He knew what was coming next - the inspection. It was a tradition, but it always made him feel vulnerable and exposed.

Slowly, Jimin led his alpha mate and mother up the stairs to his bedroom.

Once they reached the room, Jimin's mother locked the door behind them, ensuring that no other alphas could interrupt the inspection. The tension in the room was palpable, and Jimin couldn't help but feel a sense of dread in the pit of his stomach.

“Jimin, please change into the gown that I have placed in the washroom. Be quick,” his mother instructed, trying to hide her own anxiety. Jimin nodded silently and made his way to the bathroom, his steps heavy with apprehension.

As he emerged from the bathroom in the gown, he felt a sense of vulnerability wash over him. He knew that his body was about to be scrutinized and judged, and he couldn't help but feel like an object on display.

As Jimin obediently removed his robe, his mother's words echoed in his mind, causing him to shut his eyes and clench his fists in anticipation. His mother had turned away, giving them privacy, but the atmosphere in the room was tense and uncomfortable.

Jimin could feel the alpha's gaze scrutinizing every inch of his body, making him feel exposed and vulnerable. He was just a stranger to the alpha, and the thought made him even more uneasy.

The alpha's scent suddenly spiked, indicating his delight in examining Jimin's flawless body. Jimin's skin was pale and unblemished, except for a small band-aid on his pinky finger.

"What happened to your finger, omega?" the alpha interrogated.

"Just a cut... I got it while doing an experiment," Jimin replied, his voice trembling slightly. He could feel the alpha's breath on his skin, sending shivers down his spine.

The only thought racing through Jimin's mind was "Please reject me." He knew that many alphas did that. They would reject the omega after this examination if they weren't convinced with their body. And it was after the engagement because the omega's parents needed affirmation that the alpha wasn't just playing with their child's emotions.

"I accept you," the alpha's voice shattered Jimin's thoughts, and he was on the verge of tears. This was his last chance, and now it was ruined.

His eyes darted to the alpha's face, searching for any sign of dishonesty or pity, but he found none. The alpha's expression was unreadable, and it only added to Jimin's anxiety.

“I shall leave you two. Alpha, you may now scent the omega,” Jimin's mother announced as she exited the room, leaving them alone.

Jimin's heart was racing as the alpha moved closer to him, pressing him against the wall. He wanted to flee, but the alpha's potent scent of pine and jasmine was overwhelming, and Jimin's omega couldn't help but find it comforting to have his alpha's scent mixed with their own. It was calming to know that his alpha had a touch of their own scent. The alpha's fingers gripped Jimin's chin and forced him to look into his eyes.

“ You?” Jimin mumbled, not able to believe his own eyes.

"It's me, yours only Jeon Jungkook " the alpha replied to Jimin's confusion.

Jungkook nuzzled into Jimin's neck, scenting him as he trailed wet kisses down his skin. The temptation to claim Jimin there and then was almost too much for him to bear, but he resisted. The experience was both sinful and beautiful, and Jimin's omega was submitting to it completely.

After the alpha had finished scenting his fiance, he suggested they leave the room to avoid any misunderstandings about what had just taken place.

"Shall we go out? We don't want to give everyone the wrong idea that we're mating in here, do we, soon-to-be Jeon Jimin?" the alpha smirked before leaving the room, giving Jimin the chance to get dressed. As he left, Jimin was left standing there bewildered, needing a moment to compose himself before he dressed again.
