Chapter Text
It should have been another easy match. Get in, do the generators, get out. You've been playing these games long enough to know it's always the same song and dance.
You just hoped that whatever Killer you were going up against was merciful– though they hardly were nowadays. They grew bored with the normal everyday matches and have grown more sadistic as time passed.
The last couple times the fog has taken you and dropped you in another familiar location you've been toyed with by the killers. Some that would sit and watch you while you've worked on the generator, only to rip you away right as you notice them. Others that would purposely just miss their hits until they had you cornered.
God you hated it here.
As the fog finally faded, you looked around and realized that you were in a new location, you were also inside. You groan internally as you quickly find a spot to hide. Indoor locations were also the worst when it came to basically any killers.
Once you were crouched behind a trash bin to take the time to actually take in your surroundings. Your head tilted as you looked around the large spacious area around you. You were in… a mall? Fuck. There were so many open spaces here, but… there was also a feeling of familiarity.
Something in the back of your mind that warned that you knew this place. Maybe it was a place you've been before you got pulled into these games? Something from a past life that you have long since forgotten.
You heard a shout from your left, causing you to quickly stuff yourself between the bin and the wall. You peeked around it to watch another survivor, one you haven't bothered to learn the name of, limp by.
Waiting for your heartbeat to pick up as a tell tale sign of the killers fast approaching but it never came. Instead you heard… Cheery music? Well as cheery as it could be in the distorted mess that actually rang out.
You saw the red hue that often accompanied the killer and held your breath. As the killer finally stepped around the statue located in the middle of the room you let out a small gasp before you quickly covered your mouth. The killer was fucking huge. By far the largest you've played against. It was humanoid in shape but even from where you were hiding you could see his arms were segmented. He was a… android? Robot? Either way he was almost twice your height.
He was adorned in a jester outfit? His poofy pants tattered and worn from years of wear and tear. A dull ringing could be heard coming from him as he wrung his hands together. His head had a crown of spikes? Not too dissimilar to rays from the sun except their color was dull and the points were sharp.
His face seemed to be covered by a mask, an ever present smile carved into it. Along with the smile there were constellations carved into as well. It would honestly be pretty if you weren't currently being hunted by him.
"New friends! Are we playing a new game?" He called out as he skipped towards your hiding spot. As he drew closer you saw the claws on his hands, shuddering.
'So this motherfucker is an up close and personal killer? Great.' He stopped just outside of your hiding place, his head turning towards the bin.
"... Dewdrop?" You watched in horror as his hand wrapped around the edge of the bin, his large frame just looming over you. 'How the fuck did he know I was here?'
"Dewdrop it is you!" He happily whirred, reaching out for you. You shouted and shot out from the bin, sprinting off towards the broken down escalator. "Ooooh! Are we playing Tag?!"
It was going to be a looooong match.
