Impossible Redemption

Summary:

All For One, the worst Villain in the history of the entire world. He had killed countless, and destroyed most of Japan during the dark ages of Quirks. Imagine his surprise when he wakes up in the body of teen, not just any teen but the Izuku Midoriya. The worst part was he wasn't just possessing the boy, he had merged. Will his newly found guilty eat him alive till there is nothing left, or will his brother who was meant to be gone forever save him?

Notes:

In this story All For One's real name will be Shiro! This is kinda a time travel fix-it...but idk. I mean AFO is from the future and merges with fourteen year old Izuku just before he got trapped by the slime villain....so yeah, basically there will be two AFO's...

Chapter 1: Ch 1. Merging

Chapter Text

Izuku...Shiro...All For One...who was he anymore, the now fourteen year old asked himself as he leaned on a wall. His head was spinning in circles, he had two hundred plus years of memories trying to place themselves in chronological order.

He spotted his reflection in a small puddle, familiar curly green hair and shining green eyes staring back. He had the kids memories too, just his luck. In his effort to survive he had thrown himself not only back in time, but he merged with the past Midoriya brat. He closed his eyes as a emotional wave hit him, every single one of his past actions repeating through the lenses of kid who only wanted to help people.

It hurt, oh god, it hurt so much.

Why did his chest hurt so much, why were his eyes wet. He hadn't felt emotions since he purged them, back when he had thrown his brother into that vault. The reminder of his brothers wide terrified green eyes made him want to throw up, what had he done.

The kids stupid moral compass was messing with his head, he just wanted it to stop.

A shift in the air was the only warning he had before he was grabbed from behind, struggling he noted Villain's body was made out of green slime. He didn't know what was going on but he would be damned if he let this Villain get the best of him. He reached for the familiar feeling of his Quirk, letting out a breath of relief that it was still there despite not having any other Quirks inside it.

He immediately sucked the Villains Quirk factor inside of his own, falling to the ground as he was let down. Just in time for All Might to round the corner in a panic, the number one hero and his old enemy looking at the scene in confusion.

Deciding to play into his fourteen year old mentality, he swallowed nervously. One wrong move and All Might would realize who he was, but that didn't mean that lying wasn't just dangerous. No a partial truth was better then a lie, it was best to avoid lying in case the Hero called in that lie detecting Officer.

"All Might!" Sh-Izuku exclaimed looking at the buff blonde standing there. The man turned to look from me to the unconscious villain and back again.

"Young boy, what happened?" All Might question looking concerned. Izuku hesitated for a moment, not really know how to respond to his former enemy.

"I stole his Quirk, I didn't mean too!" Izuku shouted and it was true, he hadn't meant to. He had only done so by survival instinct." I promise I'll give it back, but I was scared and I took it by accident."

All Might's eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

"Did you say you...stole his Quirk?" All Might questioned and he nodded, half truths were better then lies.

"I found out about this Quirk when I was five, but didn't tell anyone about it." Izuku lied looking down at his feet in an impression of the child he was suppose to be." I thought everyone would consider me a Villain, so I pretended to be Quirkless instead."

All Might expression softened and he let out a small sigh, before turning back to the Villain who still hadn't woken up.

"Alright, why don't you give the Villain his Quirk back so I can take him in." All Might suggested and Izuku nodded. He wasn't All For One, not now anyways. That didn't stop the crippling guilt eating away inside him, was his other self still out there?

It would be so easy to just go to his former self relay the information about the future and restart his plans. So why did his stomach churn at the thought of doing so, it would be everything he wanted.

Izuku walked up to the Villain grabbing it wrist before transferring the Quirk back, once he did he backed away again and watched as All Might put Quirk suppressing cuffs on the Villain.

"All Might, sir?" Izuku asked speaking up after nearly three minutes of silence." I...I want to be a Hero, but can I when the only way to have a Quirk would be taking it from someone? I don't....want to take someones Quirk."

It startled Izuku how much of that wasn't a lie, perhaps the child had more of a impact on him then he considered. While he was definitely the more dominant personality, the child's morals and dreams seemed to be just as strong. Almost overriding his own ambitions and that scared the former Super Villain.

"Why don't you follow me to the station, we can talk afterwards." All Might suggested and Izuku nodded. He was surprised at how calm he was around his former enemy, not just that but he suddenly had a greater appreciation for the number one Hero.

With that All Might slung the Villain onto his shoulder, before picking me up and leaping towards the Police station.

Once All Might landed he walked in to the building, everyone turning towards him as he did so. Awed whispers rang out as All Might talked to a young officer, before releasing the Villain into their hands.

"Another one All Might?" A voice spoke up in amusement." That's the fourth one today."

Turning to face the speaker Izuku instantly recognized the Lie Detecting Detective, he had killed him in the former timeline. Guilt clawed its way into Izuku's heart once more, but the former Villain shoved it aside not wanting to face it right now.

"Ah, Tsukauchi!" All Might grinned widely." I have something to discuss with you, it involves this young boy right here."

All Might gestured to him and Izuku just waved awkwardly, unsure of what to say or do in this situation. It seemed as if he inherited the original Izuku's social awkwardness, shame he used to be so good with people.

"Um, hi..." Izuku stammered out, not sure of what else to say. Did he say it was nice to meet him, he thought the Detective would note how it was a lie.

"Alright, we'll talk in my office." Tsukauchi stated and gestured for the two to follow, Izuku did so as he looked around the station. It wasn't particularly busy at the moment, but knowing the law it could change any second.

Once they arrived at the office Izuku and the other two walked in, Tsukauchi closing the door behind them.

"Alright, what's this about." Tsukauchi asked seriously. All Might answered by deflating to his normal form, making Izuku blink in surprise. Why was he showing his weakness to a kid he literally just met, did the guy have a death wish?

"All Might?" Izuku questioned, though seeing the Hero looking as weak as he did while in a non Villain mind set made Izuku's heart clench painfully. He had done this, he had done this to the Hero standing next to him. He had done even worse to All Might's predecessors, to his own brother of people.

Another flash of guilt surged inside, but once again Izuku pushed it aside. He couldn't let it distract him, not when he was surrounded by people who wouldn't hesitate to lock him up if they knew he had merged with a kid.

"Call me Toshinori in this form." Newly dubbed Toshinori said with a cough, blood spraying as the cough shook his frail form.

"I'm guessing this is pretty serious if your showing your form." Tsukauchi stated with a worried expression. Toshinori nodded in response before sitting down on a chair that was in the room.

"This boy, he has the same Quirk as him." Toshinori revealed and Izuku hid a flinch knowing that he was the him in that sentence. Tsukauchi's eyes widened in surprise, before the Detectives gaze locked onto him.

"I see, so you believe there is a relation?" Tsukauchi asked carefully and Izuku just stayed quiet, not wanting to bring attention to himself more then necessary.

"It's possible, but regardless he's just a kid." Toshinori admitted with a sigh." He wants to be a Hero, but he refusing to take Quirks without permission. This means he's essentially Quirkless, I was wondering if I should...give him you know what."

Tsukauchi gave Toshinori a hard look, as if trying to gauge what the man was thinking. Izuku paled, the Hero wasn't talking about One For All...right? Then again the original Izuku had gotten it somehow, but the original didn't have his Quirk. Why would his former mortal enemy give One For All to someone with his Quirk, it was a dangerous move.

"Are you absolutely sure that's a good idea, Toshi?" Tsukauchi asked with a frown. Toshinori hesitated before nodding.

"It's almost like the Quirk itself is calling to the boy, I don't know how to explain it, but whatever it is....surely the Quirk would know best, right?" Toshinori said looking nervous, while Izuku simply stared.

Why was One For All calling to him, if his hypothesis was correct in that a copy of previous users were imprinted into the Quirk...then why would they want him? All For One and One For All could sense each other, so that meant the Quirk knew he had All For One if not that he was the All For One.

"It's your decision, I know how much trust you put in your Quirk." Tsukauchi stated with a sigh." If you think this is the right decision then I won't argue, just know that it can't taken back once given."

Toshinori nodded before turning to look at Izuku.

"I need to tell you something, my boy." Toshinori began." It starts with a tale of two brother...."
