It’s Only Fair

Summary:

After the battle of Khonshu v Ammit, you find yourself back in London at Steven’s flat. Steven doesn’t understand what you like about the place or what you like about him, so you decide to show him.

And of course, it’s only fair that Marc gets a turn as well to show you what he likes about you.

One-shot. 1 chapter for Steven, 1 for Marc.

Notes:

Gahhhh I know I have a million other fics that need my attention but my mind is lusting only for Oscar Isaac at the moment after watching Moon Knight.

Please enjoy this smut while your author is being reached. 🥴

Chapter Text

“Shit, shit, shit!” You huffed, dodging a blow that would have undoubtedly broken your jaw.

Harrow’s men were surrounding you, and while you could definitely hold your own against them, thank you very much, there was no denying that there were simply too many of them. Even with Layla in her swanky new digs courtesy of a certain hippo Goddess, you were outgunned, plain and simple.

You cursed as your gun clicked empty, as the larger man advanced upon you, hands outstretched. He was going to judge you, and that was NOT a question you wanted answered. You turned to run, but low and behold, he had cornered you against a wall. Damn.

“Ammit will cleanse the world of your sinfulness,” the man leered.

“Oy! Get away from her!” A voice suddenly cut through the air.

“Steven?!” You gasped, as he flew into view, dressed in his swanky Moon Knight suit.

“Just a mo’ love! Just gotta teach this fellow some manners,” he said over his shoulder.

Still trying to get over the fact that he was alive , you expected Marc to take over for the brawl, but to your even greater surprise, Steven took the cultist down all on his own. He landed punches with such precision, that it looked as if he’d been fighting his whole life…which you supposed in a way, he had. But still. You had never seen Steven hurt so much as a fly. Yet here he was, taking down a third man who had joined the fray all on his own.

When at last the alley was clear of assailants he turned to you.

“Sorry we’re late, lo —oof!”

You tackled the man before he had a chance to get another word out, wrapping your arms around him and burying your face in his chest.

“They shot you! Marc, he…they shot him!” You sobbed nonsensically into his lapel.

“There, there, darling. We’re alright now, promise!” Steven said soothingly, wrapping his arms around you and rubbing your back gently.

“We?” you asked, looking up into those glowing eyes.

Suddenly his wardrobe shifted into the wrappings you knew all too well, though this time he omitted the face mask.

“Hey, sweetheart,” Marc smiled down at you.

“Marc! Oh, you’re both okay!” You sobbed harder.

“Of course we are. You didn’t think we’d leave you behind, did you?” He said softly, before bringing his lips to yours.

You moaned through your tears and kissed him back in earnest. Marc deepened the kiss and brushed his tongue against yours. You pulled him closer when the sound of a car crashing sounded behind you.

“Right, maybe now’s not the best time,” Marc grinned apologetically.  He took a step back and donned his mask once more, his eyes glowing bright with moonlight.

“Yeah, okay. Let’s save the world first and then we can uh…continue this later,” you nodded, reaching down to where the unconscious cultist lay. You took his gun and all his ammo, ready to join the fray once again.

“What? Ugh, fine but make it quick,” you hear Marc mutter.

You looked up questioningly, and suddenly Steven was back, and he too forgoed the mask.

“Steven, wha—“

He cut you off with his lips. His gloved hands clutched your shoulders, pulling you closer to him. You were stunned. You were used to Marc kissing you like this, but Steven.. Kisses with Steven were usually soft and slow, sweet and chaste. Never before had he kissed you with such passion.

You laced your fingers in his curls, kissing him back with equal passion. He broke away gasping for air.

“Sorry, love…I just…it wasn’t fair that Marc got to kiss you but I didn’t,” he said, sounding almost sheepish.

“Yeah, wouldn’t have been fair,” you nodded, breathing hard and smiling.

He smiled back at you, his brown eyes soft as he gazed at you in adoration. A scream broke you out of your gentle moment.

“Right, well… back to it, eh?“ Steven chuckled, masking his face again. “You keep safe, alright?“

“Yeah. I’ll see you…after,” you said softly.

You couldn’t be sure, but you thought he was smiling under that mask. He turned and began to jog off towards the sound of the battle, when you stopped him.

“Steven!” You yelled after him.

He turned, glowing eyes wide with curiosity.

“I uh…I love you. And Marc as well,” you told him, blushing furiously. You had never spoken those words to him, though he surely knew by now. After all you had been through together, it was time he heard it. Especially after literally taking two bullets for you and dying. “I just wanted you to know. I love you both.”

“Oh! Oh, darling. Umm, us as well. Uh..I mean,” Steven fumbled, hopping from one foot to the other rather nervously.

“It’s alright,” you waved him off, laughing. “I know now isn’t the time, I just needed you to hear it before anything else happens. Later!”

You cocked your gun and began running down the alleyway, but you heard him yell after you.

“Laters, gator!”
