The girl sighed heavily as she drives, mind not all there as thoughts consume her. Thoughts of a better life, one where she could do more.
Where she could be more.
Cade was someone who was always looked down on. Nothing she could do was ever right. She couldn't be the perfect little daughter her parents wanted her to be. Mainly because she didn't want to be a woman at all.
It didn't help that she was diagnosed with depression either.
Somedays, she wondered what it would be like if she was born a male, in a different family.
Maybe she would be happy.
Maybe she wouldn't think she was a failure.
A nuisance.
Disgusting.
Unfortunately for her, the thoughts were too deep, her autopilot mode switched on.
She didn't see the drunk driver until the headlights were already in front of her.
All she felt was blinding pain and then nothing.

Cade awoke on a beach. It was strange, nothing like they expected heaven to be. Although, maybe it was because the beach was where she was most happy.
A place to escape.
She knew she died, probably on impact. That would make the most logical sense to her at the moment.
As she regained her barings she inspected herself, checking for any damages that might have followed her.
Although, she quickly found that things were different .
Her once small, thin body was now bulky. Her shoulders looked wide, her hands big. As she looked down at her chest, all she saw was the flatness of it, not how she usually looked.
Cade could feel herself getting excited at this thought. Were her prayers answered? Did she get reborn? Though, it was not likely reincarnation. She seemed to be the age in which she died.
With a slightly shaking hand, she put her hand over her crotch. Feeling the appendage made her nearly start crying in shock.
She was finally a man.
She could finally be called he.
Cade gets up with a new energy and slaps off the sand. A wide smile is on his face as he looks around. There was something glaringly familiar about this place. Nagging him like navi from Legend of Zelda.
He would figure it out eventually.
First thing he wanted to do was take a good look at himself.
Something still felt off to him.
A flick of something captured his attention and he looked towards it. It seemed to evade his sight and he turned some more, twisting his back around.
Thats how he found out he had a tail.
"There's no way! What in the mcfucking chicken dicks happened?" It seems like things kept surprising him. Cautiously, he runs his fingers through his hair, only to have them bump against his newfound ears,
"I dunno if this is some prank, but I'm fucking excited."
After exploring further into the land, his frustration just gets worse. He knows this place, surely. He could smell some type of floral scent that was pleasant to him. Something that made him relax.
Then he smelled something downright foul .
Cade's whole body cringed at the smell and he was trying to figure out what the fuck it was.
Turns out it found him .
In front of him was this weird thing with a mask, not speaking English. It was more so just gibberish. That's when it hit him.
"Did i just get isekai'ed into motherfucking Genshin Impact."
