"So you want me to-" stopping to make a neck-slicing gesture, Seojun looked coldly into the eyes of the businessman. "Lee Jooheon's son?"

"Exactly. Do you take the job or not?"

"Depends on the money." Seojun smirked, cleaning the blood off his dagger with two fingers, the red liquid tinting the black leather of his glowes slightly rufous.

"I will give you as much as you want."

"Wow, someone very much wants that guy dead." chuckling at his own joke, Seojun looked around for a second before responding. Leaning close to the businessman's face, this time he whispered his words. "It's going to be very expensive, you know that?"

"Yes or no?" anxiously shuffling, the man had a nudging tone in his voice. Making business in one of the dark alleys of Seoul wasn't that much of a good idea, but where else could he find Han Seojun, the most successful assassin of Korea?

"I'll take it." Seojun answered, confidently tipping his head up as he slowly put his black helmet on. "Prepare your wallets."

"You only have a day. Leave the body on the scene." the businessman ordered before Seojun started his motorcycle and the engine loudly roared as the huge black vehicle launched with a speed of hundred horses.

"See you in the morning." the brunet shouted, showing a peace sign to the man and his bodyguards as he turned onto a road, disappearing from their vision. Checking the time, his lips curled into a victorious smirk. 6:55. He will have enough time to get dinner after the murder.

Slalomming between the fastly moving cars, Seojun could smell the sense of victory in the chilly night air of Seoul. He was going to milk that businessman until he had no money left in his bank account.

"You got the address?" he asked as he activated his earpiece at a traffic light. The light of the lamp strongly illuminated the road, painting everything red, including him and his motorcycle.

"You like to forget I'm not a beginner anymore." Jugyeong giggled at the other side of the line. "Lee Suho, eighteen. He has a black belt in taekwondo, so watch out."

"Aish, I didn't want to fight today."

"You never want to fight." the brunette girl teased, and Seojun could hear the soft clatter of her nails as she typed on the keyboard. "Okay, I sent the address. He lives in an apartment, so don't shoot or you'll gain too much attention."

"Thanks Ju. I'll get dumplings for dinner."

"Good luck." and with that, Jugyeong ended the call, leaving Seojun with the loud sound of the cars he passed. Not much later, he arrived to a dark alleyway near the apartment complex. He left his helmet on the black motorcycle, and ran his hands through his thick, deep brown hair as he approached the building. Inside, he was welcomed by the strong smell of a new, luxurious home. Not wasting any of his precious time, he immediately walked to the open elevator, pushing the button of the top floor.

It didn't take long for him to find the ladder that led to the rooftop. Soojin was already waiting for him, looking at the hundreds of lights that gleamed in the deep darkness of the summer night.

"Took you long enough." the woman rolled her eyes as she held her hands out, waiting for Seojun to take the backpack from her.

"Why does this bastard have to live in an apartment complex of all places?" Seojun groaned as he greeted the raven haired woman with a warm hug.

"This the most expensive building to rent an apartment in."

"Now I'm very curious to see how he looks like." he commented, fastening some straps on his gear before looking down. "Which floor?"

"Thirty-first."

"I hoped I could dive more, but here we are I guess." Seojun shrugged as he stepped on the edge of the rooftop.

"Don't fuck up." smirking, Soojin had a teasing tone in her voice. She took her place next to the rope-machine, waiting for Seojun to jump off.

"Adios." and with that, Seojun didn't waste time to cast himself off the rooftop. Immediately, he felt the harsh blowing of the cold wind on his face, the adrenaline pumping in his veins.

His careless diving ended with a yank on the rope, stopping Seojun right in front of Lee Suho's apartment. 'How stupid he is to leave his windows open' Seojun thought as he quietly climbed through the open window.

Entering the house, he was amazed by how put together everything was, how nicely the minimalist blue interior went together, creating a perfect, modern harmony, just like those houses in the magazines. The second thing he noticed was how neat the boy was. He couldn't see any object that would be out of place, even the white plates on the drying rack were perfectly organized.

Speaking of the kitchen, it was the place where Seojun found the target, habitually washing his dishes while quietly whistling. Immediately identifying the song: Woodz - Love Me Harder, the brunet man had to try very hard to restrain himself from dueting Lee Suho. He carefully sneaked closer on the dark wood floor of the apartment, hands moving to grab his beloved dagger, ready to attack, when-

"So you are the one sent to kill me." the raven haired boy in front of him greeted with a small wave, the side of his lips curling into a smile as he stared. Right. At. Seojun. "Hi."

And then happened something that never ever did before: Seojun dropped his dagger. The metal hit the floor with a loud clinking sound, slightly masking Seojun's gasp. Yes, gasp, because the assassin was just staring at the most beautiful boy he had seen in his entire life.

"Woah, I didn't think you would be so surprised." Suho chuckled, scrubbing an indigo mug in his hand dry with a dish towel.

Swallowing hard, Seojun quickly moved to pocket his dagger, but the boy immediately cut him off with a loud, "No!"

"What?"

"Don't put it away." he breathed, chocolate eyes staring deeply into Seojun's. "Go ahead, kill me. Please."

"Dude-" the assassin started, but his sentence was cut off yet again. He was slowly getting annoyed by this suicidal, but unbelievably gorgeous boy.

"Look, my life is pretty shit already. Honestly, I just want to die."

"You literally live in one of the most expensive apartments of Seoul." following his sentence up with a scoff, Seojun looked around the apartment.

The boy just shook his head with disbelief on his face, moving to place the mug onto the drying rack. "My mom died and my dad is the biggest dick in the universe who masks his mistakes by scandalizing innocent trainees. He also hasn't spoken to me in ages. I'm all alone and-"

Sighing deeply, Seojun adjusted the straps on his gear as he spoke. "Do you wanna talk about it?"

"You wanted to kill me a moment ago." Suho mumbled, approaching him, and Seojun had to restrain himself from cooing at how adorable he looked in his oversized hoodie and huge pajama pants.

"Do you or do you not?" the assassin repeated, making a nudging gesture with his head. He couldn't bring himself to meet with the eyes of the boy, who was now completely in front of him, body illuminated by the silver moonlight.

"Sure, but disarm yourself first."

And that's how Han Seojun, 23, a feared, professional assassin ended up curled up into a fuzzy blanket, ramen in his hand, listening to the sad life of his most promising target.

"So, yeah. He basically killed my best friend too." Suho let out a wet sigh, munching down on his noodles. After that, silence wrapped around them, both of them quietly eating. It didn't take long for Suho to lose his battle against his upcoming tears that escaped from under his eyelids, glistening on his pale face.

For a moment, Seojun hesitated, but then, he carefully slid closer, awkwardly enveloping the sniffling boy into his arms.

"I'm sorry, you shouldn't have experienced such horrible things at such a young age." he breathed. "I can't do much for you-"

"What you did is already more than what anyone have ever done to me." raising his head slightly, Suho looked into Seojun's eyes, small smile on his face. Adding, "You didn't kill me, afterall."

"I couldn't kill you. I don't hurt children."

"Then who do you hurt?" Suho asked, blinking at the assassin, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Usually, I'm comissioned to kill old, disgusting businessmen, or sometimes politicians. Bad people. I only accepted you, because I was offered unlimited money." Seojun quietly explained, lowering his head with a grimace on his face.

"I see you aren't very proud of your job." Suho commented, eyes curiously tracing the assassin's face. When received a nod, he asked, "Then why do you do it?"

"My dad died when I was young, I got taken away from my mom and put into an orphanage. There, I was close to crimes, as lots of the orphans became criminals so they could get money. My assassin agency found me when I was ten and hired me. Since then, I could pay my mom a big home, can buy myself anything I want and just- just live a nice life." shrugging, the brunet man added, "It was more of a necessity than a job at the time I got hired."

"Why didn't you stop then?"

"Good question." stopping to think for a while, Seojun tried to avoid the eyes of the boy. "I'm stuck. You cannot just quit being an assassin and start a normal life."

"Sure but-"

But the younger's sentence was cut off by a hand on his mouth. "Stop, you already know too much about me." the assassin sighed, hands moving to lightly pet Suho's head. "It was nice meeting you, Lee Suho."

"You too-" the younger stopped, hesitating.

"Han Seojun." nodding at the brunet man, Suho had a soft smile on his face. "Don't think about wanting to die anymore, please. Take care of yourself and go to sleep, it's too late."

"Goodbye, Han Seojun." the boy breathed, gently enveloping the elder into a warm hug.

"Goodbye to you too."

With a heavy sigh, the tall man turned around, and a moment later he was out of the window, waving at the boy for one last time as the machine pulled him up.

"Took you long enough." Soojin scolded as she grabbed Seojun's hand to help him climb over the edge of the roof. The Moon was already done with half of it's time on the sky, and the night wasn't so dark anymore. "I'm sure all dumpling places are closed now and Jugyeong starved to death."

When no answer came from the other, only the quiet clinking sound of his gear as he removed his equipment, Soojin curiously raised her eyebrows at him. "What's up with you?"

"Nothing, let's go." not wanting to pressure him, Soojin just quietly followed her partner in crime.

When the exhausted assassin stumbled into the small, but so cozy room of Jugyeong, the girl only gasped lightly before welcoming the man, who collapsed into her arms like a sack of rice.

"Did you not succeed, Junnie?" she cooed, gently caressing his brown locks. As an answer, the girl only got an disappointed groan into her pink hoodie. "You never fail. What happened?"

"I think I fell in love, JuJu." Seojun mumbled, and the brunet girl sighed, relieved.

"But that's not a bad thing." she whispered, sweater paws moving to gently raise Seojun's head by the cheeks. "Is it another assassin? That's why you're so upset?"

"No! Oh my god I could never!" the man shrieked, furrowing his eyebrows, lightly slapping the girl on the arm, earning a giggle in return. Then, a loud sigh left his lips as he remembered those raven locks and that boy in those huge clothes illuminated by the moonlight. "I fell in love with my target."
