"Can't. My boyfriend will nag at me for sleeping late again."

Cale had casually answered, too distracted with the game to notice how his chat went absolutely nuts.

Half were intrigued and curious about the unexpected news, while the others were sad and angry over him being taken and how their favorite youtuber turned out to be homo.

("GAY. Unsubscribed." Straight self proclaimed alpha males had commented like anybody would give a damn.)

A variety of reactions, but they all had one thought in common.

Who was this mystery boyfriend?

Some assumed that he didn't actually have a lover and only pretended to have one so people would stop pestering him.

Others thought that it was one of the many other close famous YouTubers Cale was friends with but was immediately debunked seeing as they seem to know his boyfriend as well.

"His highness? Well he's...a very busy person."

Rosalyn had once commented.

"Cale-nim and his highness are two peas in a pod, they're very alike."

Choi Han assessed.

They didn't get a name but the nickname "His highness" was enough.

People assumed that it was referring to the self proclaimed "King" youtuber that Cale has had several interactions with.

That's right.

The man.

The one and only.

The White Star.

The internet went crazy. This was the typical slowburn enemies to lovers trope. Fanfics were written and several edits were made and posted on TikTok.

Cale and White Star aggressively denying it only added fuel to the fire.

Cale's comment section would get spammed with #WSCale from delusional shippers and antis who noticed how Cale's expression would contort, as if he drank one particularly sour drink, at the sight of it.

White Star was not spared from the onslaught. He's had enough of this bullshit.

He tweeted:

That one tweet shifted the whole storyline.

Now, people thought that White Star had a one sided crush towards Cale's mystery boyfriend which resulted in the constant 1v1 challenges just to prove that he was better.

Cale only had one response to the tweet.

It was a whole soap opera.

The whole drama (?) would finally come to an end when Cale suddenly got an unexpected guest during one of his livestreams.

He was once again trying his best not to gag at the cursed ship name on his chat when he suddenly heard a voice behind him.

"What are you playing?"

A prince-like appearance, blonde hair and blue eyes.

Viewers would have questioned what this handsome stranger's relation to Cale was if not for the way Cale's expression immediately softened at the sight of the man.

"You're back earlier than I thought?"

"Of course," the blonde flashes a charming smile, leaning in to give Cale a kiss on the cheek.

"How could I miss a chance to spend time with my lovely boyfriend?"

If Cale had been the eye rolling type, he would've already rolled his eyes. He indulges anyway.

He leans in and gives the blonde a peck on the lips.

"Then I guess I have no choice but to spend time with my boyfriend as well."

The game and chat was completely forgotten, both lost in their own world, flashing bright smiles at each other.

The viewers reaction to the sudden guest appearance and blatant display of affection was as big, if not crazier, as the day Cale suddenly dropped the bomb of having a boyfriend. 

This couple seem to have the tendency to leave people screaming or speechless.

The livestream would later on covet the crown for the greatest peak concurrent viewers of all time.

Cale's chat was flooded with people asking for the striking blonde's name.

They wanted to know the name of the person who could easily distract and take the unmoving Cale Henituse's attention off a game.

The said blonde took his place beside Cale. With a blindingly bright smile still glued on his face, he introduced himself.

"Alberu Crossman, Cale Henituse's lover. Thats all you need to know."

And that was all they got to know.

Alberu Crossman had little to no social media presence except for the one dusting twitter private account he made to silently support Cale. He was the epitome of "that one friend who looks good but never posts any pictures."

Needless to say, the stream made with the goal to break another world record turned into a game night date with the viewers acting as thirdwheels.

Alberu clearly knew nothing about games, but Cale patiently taught him all the mechanics. Not only looks but the blonde also seems to be gifted with his hands as he was easily able to learn and adjust to the games, even winning once against Cale.

Did Cale purposely let him win? or was he just too distracted looking at Alberu's very focused serious expression? Who knows, White Star wasnt going to like how a newbie was easily able to defeat Cale though, a feat he's been trying to achieve for years.

Since then, due to high demand, Alberu would seldomly appear in Cale's videos. 

They would play as a duo, matching energy lowkey trashtalking each other. But when one gets trashtalked by an opponent, the other would target and kill them each time.

"Only I can say he sucks."

They would also often do 1v1s with Alberu getting several times better each time.

"Did you practice?"

Cale's question only received a smile in response. 

...It seems he needs to get serious and step his game up if he doesn't want to get defeated in their next match.

Alberu would also sometimes come in with his pet flying squirrel, Taerang, perched on his head or shoulder.

The corner of Cale's lips would twitch at the sight of the very similar focused expressions, round eyes glued to the screen.

The timely visits continued on, but for someone who rarely appeared, Alberu was forming a fanbase of his own. People demanding him to play more with Cale and suggesting to make his own channel.

But Rosalyn didn't lie when she said that he one very busy person.

He wasn't that very interested in games, only having fun when playing with Cale. He was also very busy to set aside a time for extra activities. (Of course, the case is different if it involves Cale)

In the end, there was only one content that fit him best. The type of content that he already does everyday, the type of content that won't take too much time and would only need him to take a video of himself and give commentaries here and there.

He started to make vlogs.

Beauty vlogs to be exact. Posting videos such as: 

- his morning and nightly routine

- hairstyling

- make up and skincare tips + product recommendations

- fashion

and overall anything beauty and health related videos.

Having Cale as a guest in his videos was a common occurrence, mostly having Cale as his model. His boyfriend willingly sitting down in front of him as he does a natural make up tutorial, sometimes even trying out sponsored products on him, putting lipstick on Cale although they had to cut that part out because they ended up making out.

Others who weren't even interested in his content also came to watch some of his videos and treated his channel as an ASMR channel. Many has spoken out about how soothing his voice was  and how they would let his videos play in the background whenever they want to relax.

That was also probably the reason why Cale could be seen sometimes falling asleep as Alberu continued to explain to the camera about different hairstyles while braiding and styling his boyfriend's long red hair.

But knowing how toxic and problematic the beauty community on youtube was, with people such as—

Jeffry Star (many refer him as the beauty youtuber counterpart of White Star, getting into all sorts of beef with people each day), Jems Charles, Chrisha Paytoes, it was inevitable for Alberu to not get involved with any controversy and drama despite minding his own business. Because in this vast beauty community, your business is everyone's business apparently.

Everyone seems to have a problem with everyone. Alberu getting needlessly involved with just one mention of him.

His gamer boyfriend only had one thing to say to these unwanted and unneccessary drama.

Overall, the two became a very iconic couple in the industry, never failing to surprise their fans. 

Just like when Cale did another live stream, casually adjusting his headphones, his fans did not miss the glint of the expensive gold ring perfectly fitted on his ring finger.
