Today is a peaceful day for Suisei, way too peaceful that she went outside the comfort of her home.
Suisei planned her day off to just laze around her apartment, but somehow the urge to go somewhere else tickles her mind annoyingly that she's now outside, walking with no direction in mind.
She stops, realizing where her feet led her. It was all instinctive or no brainer, she ended up in front of her business partner's place.
"What…" Suisei's eyes look at the building in front of her, she can't believe her first instinct is to go here, and she subconsciously went here just by walking all the way from her home.
As much as she wants to go inside and see her, her pride tells her that she shouldn't, since she doesn't have any reason for coming today.
Suisei can't just tell her she went here because of, "My feet led me here, hehe–"
No way in hell Suisei is admitting that to her.
Without even realizing the blush on her cheeks, she forces herself to walk past the building Miko lives in, and continue her way to wherever her feet will lead her next.
"Huh? Is that…" She stops once again when a certain pink hair catches her attention, but the mentioned pink is moving so fast that she starts to worry what's happening.
Once Suisei can clearly see why Miko is running, she starts to laugh uncontrollably.
A huge dog is chasing after Miko who's running for her life.
Not even a minute before Suisei started laughing, it seems like Miko noticed her and ran towards her direction,
"SUI-CHAN HELP ME!!!" She screams and Suisei can almost see tears forming on her emerald eyes.
Suisei froze for a moment before she also started running.
"MIKOCHI WHY ARE YOU LEADING THAT TO ME!?"
"HELP ME!"
"HOW ON EARTH AM I GOING TO HELP YOU!?"
"I DON'T KNOW!"
And they both ran trying to find a place where that huge dog couldn't reach them.
"Mikochi, what the fuck…" Suisei catches her breath since they're now safe.
When she said safe, they needed to climb on a tree and while the dog was still underneath the tree they're in, barking and having fun whatever it was doing.
"It's not my fault that the dog is chasing me!"
"Then who's fault is it? Mine?"
"Hey!" Miko immediately says before giving Suisei an unamused look.
"Whatever." Suisei tries to brush it off, and waits for Miko to catch her own breath.
"The dog just looks so cute and I wanted to pet it but…" Miko speaks, and pauses.
"Okay, maybe it's my fault, hehe…" she sheepishly adds.
"Of course it's your fault, dumbass." Suisei deadpans and Miko returns it with a glare.
"You can't blame me! I mean look at him!" she pointed downwards where the dog is, "He's so cute right???"
"Not after he chased us." Suisei simply responds and sees Miko curve her mouth into a pout.
"Fair."
Miko suddenly jumps a bit on her spot and turns her head to face Suisei.
"Why were you in front of my apartment?"
Suisei froze and carefully looked back at Miko's gaze on her.
"N-Nothing." She tries to reason but fails, maybe all the running killed her brain cells to think.
"Nothing…? So you just wanted to see me?" Suisei immediately feels her cheeks and ears go warm.
She can't deny it.
"Of course not." But she still tries to deny it anyway.
"Eh~? Is that a lie I'm hearing?" Miko teases with a smug adorable smile and Suisei is so tempted to wipe it off from her face, even though deep in her mind she loves seeing that smile on her.
"Think of it whatever you like." She looks away from her, subtle as possible, trying to act cool about it.
"Tsundere Sui-chan." Miko giggles and Suisei tries to ignore her, but she can't help and feels her ears go a bit warmer than earlier.
"Shut it, I'm not."
"Sure." Miko simply responds with a smile, before taking a hold of Suisei's hand, intertwining it with her own.
Today is supposed to be a peaceful day, but after getting chased, Suisei can't say that anymore.
At least, as much as she doesn't want to admit it, she gets to spend time with Miko like this.
