Now Max knew Billy was gonna be out late, however she didn’t expect her parents to be out either which just left her all alone in the house. she was currently in the kitchen making jiffy pop, and preparing to watch a marathon of horror movies considering it was Halloween when the phone rang ….
Max slowly picked up the phone “Hello Maxine” the voice on the other lined said “How do you know my name” “Oh I know lots about you, how you just moved here from California and have an older brother named Billy” “What do you want” Max asked shakily into the receiver. “To play a game” “What game” “Oh it’s a real fun one you like scary movies right everyone loves a good scary movie here’s what we’re going to do”. “Im gonna give you three questions if you get them all right I’ll let you live to see another day” “Ok” Max said her voice cracking “However if you get any wrong it’s game over” “You ready Good” “First question name the killer in Halloween” “Michael Myers” “Good Next question Name the killer in Nightmare on Elm Street” “Freddy Kruger” “Your doing so well you ready for your final question “Name the killer in Friday the 13th.” “Jason Jason! Jason!” Max said I'm sorry. That's the wrong answer! the voice on the other line replied “No, it's not. No it's not. It was Jason.” “Afraid not” “No way. Listen, it was Jason! I saw that movie 20 goddamn times!” “Then you should know that Jason's mother, Mrs. Voorhees was the original killer. Jason didn't show up until the sequel. I'm afraid that was a wrong answer.” “No please” “It looks like your time is up what a shame I really liked talking to you max” “Please I’ll do anything” “Anything” the voice on the other line replied. “Hmmm fine I’m feeling reasonable today” Max sighed in relief “What door am I at” “What did you just say” “I said which door am I at” Max tried to think but it was already to late as she felt the knife plunging into her back. Max screamed out in glorifying pain running to the front door blood dripping from the wound almost about to make her escape when the killer got up and tackled her to the ground raising both its hands up as max watched her killer strike the final blow she slowly raised one hand up tearing off the mask and who she saw looking back at her shocked her because she would have never expected it was none other than Will Byers.
