bakugo gets stomped by izukus villain and then goes super saiyan but it doesnt do anything except make his heart fucking explode. for some reason edgeshot can replace peoples organs or something so he says he can save bakugo but then best jeanist reminds him hes a top ten hero whos way more skilled and powerful than a random hero student and edgeshot is like “dam u got a gud point fellow top ten guy” so bakugo fucking dies no takebacksies
Consider this an informal spiritual sequel to 'endeavor v mineta', which I still occasionally get comments on, much to my delight. I don't like this one as much as the fever dream inspired 'endeavor v mineta' but like. I had to.
To quote an excellent twitter thread on the topic, "Why should I ever believe going forward that a character is actually going to die? ... If [Bakugo] can have his heart blown into chunks and still come back to life, why should I ever worry about anyone at all?"
