Chapter Text
There was a redhead sitting on the road of an empty alley, sighing after putting down his alcohol bottle. It was a normal occurrence for the 18-year-old. Be it now or years before, it was rare for anyone but his butler Hans to notice his disappearances.
Sometimes, he would escape to the Eastern continent, where he was able to find an inn and a place where nobody knew him or his reputation as ‘the trash’.
His face, clearly flushed, would make anyone think he's completely drunk, however, if anyone looked closer, they'd see that his eyes were clear, indicating that his mind was just as clear.
Whimper!
The man turned his head and smiled bitterly once he saw a small familiar white fox, the tiny thing had kept getting closer to him every time they met so he involuntarily got attached to it as it also seemed to understand him, whenever he began to rant about how annoying the nobles were.
The fox came closer to him and put its paw on the redhead's forehead.
What the redhead didn't expect was for the fox to start talking.
"Cale Henituse, my sad friend."
The redhead, Cale Henituse, flinched in surprise as his eyes widened in shock. The fox's voice was... Sad... And it called him friend as well! What the hell?
"I wish to help you, would you allow me?"
The fox snuggled closer to him, and, settling itself onto Cale's lap, it looked straight up at the man in front of it.
"Who... Who are you?"
Ah!
The fox let out a surprised gasp, as if it didn't realize that it did not introduce itself.
'Did it forget..?'
A soft chuckle was heard from the white fox as it raised one of its front paws to its chest and introduced itself.
"I am Adonis."
("Adonis" translates to Lord in Greek)
Cale reached out to the fox and scratched its chin gently, already used to it due to having done so many times before.
"You said you wish to help me... Although I do not know how, but, I'd appreciate it, thank you."
He was tired, so so tired of everything, he knew he did it for his family, however, he had felt no warmth from that family. He missed his warm mother so much…
It had been such a long time ever since someone had offered to help him. Usually people would see him as ‘the trash’ whose father let him do whatever he wanted. The only ones who helped him were his mother’s relatives and friends. Not that he could ever tell anyone.
Adonis sighed in relief, glad that he got Cale's permission.
"Well then... Let us begin."
Then, everything turned white, a blinding light made it impossible to see.
******
Many different people and races were transported into an empty white room. Everyone was flabbergasted, I mean, c'mon, who would expect to be teleported into the middle of nowhere?
They all looked around in shock, surveying the area in case there were enemies around.
A specific family however noticed the presence of a familiar redhead.
"Cale! Where were you?" Deruth Henituse rushed over to check his son, worried that the redhead might have gotten injured. So did his wife, although, instead of rushing over, she simply walked up to Cale as she still held her usual stoic expression, and his two other children.
The redhead finally jolted out of his shock, he had been frozen stiff when he realized that they were not in the alley anymore. Reddish-brown eyes glanced at the older man fussing over him. "Father...?" He murmured and turned to face the white fox.
"Adonis... What is this?"
The fox merely smiled as a response and jumped off Cale.
Poof!
The fox was no longer there, and in its place, a beautiful young man with white messy hair and bright blue eyes appeared in its place.
Adonis was finally noticed by the people inside the room. And he smiled at the sudden anger directed towards him.
"Hello 'The Birth of a Hero' people. I welcome you into my domain."
"Who are you?"
A stunningly beautiful golden haired 'elf' stepped up and asked the unknown being.
Many were already in a battle stance, ready to fight the white haired man, while some eyed him with curiosity instead, wondering what kind of being he was.
"Oh yes, I was about to introduce myself. I am Adonis and I am the owner of this dimension."
Needless to say, that did not put them at ease at all, they didn't know if the person in front of them was an enemy or an ally.
One redhead in particular though, couldn't understand in what way this would help him.
"Adonis...nim? We would like to know why we are here"
A beautiful blonde haired and blue eyed man asked, with polite speech and his princely smile.
"Your Highness, please be careful, we do not know if he's dangerous or not."
A black haired and black eyed swordsman was quick to stop the other, his hand on the hilt of his sword as he stared at Adonis.
'Choi Han and the crown prince Alberu Crossman...'
Cale's mind was a mess, to say he was confused would be an understatement.
"I am no enemy, I would say I am an ally instead."
Adonis looked around, some people relaxed while others were still wary. He smiled and clapped once to get everyone’s attention. "I have brought you here to avoid 20 years of war." He said as he spread his arms, couches and chairs appeared inside the previously empty white room.
'What.'
That was basically the collective thought of the people present. Of course, who wouldn't be confused when someone says that they'd face 20 years of war?? Who the heck just drops bombs like that?!
(Cale does.)
“What do you mean 20 years of war?!” Rosalyn was horrified, what would become of her kingdom?
Tilting her head to the side, a beige haired woman stared at the white haired boy. So what if the humans will suffer 20 years of war? It has nothing to do with dragons such as her and her son. “And why should that concern us?” She questioned and her son, Dodori, nodded in agreement.
“Because it is not a simple opponent.” Started Adonis with a frown. “This person could destroy both continents.”
His words alarmed every being inside the room. Be it humans or dragons. Destroy both continents? That is something they didn’t expect.
A blue haired man with round glasses and an alcohol bottle in his hand stepped up. "How will you help us avoid that, Adonis-nim?" He questioned as his purple haired friend silently wondered the same thing.
Adonis' eyes crinkled and turned into crescent moons as his smile widened.
"I will show you a different dimension who was able to finish the war in 2 years"
Many were filled with hope, could they also be able to win the war in 2 years with the information?
“Wait,” Began Jopis as she held her hand up. “Just how is it that they finished the war in 2 years while we could possibly face 20 years of war?”
Adonis hummed and grinned in amusement. “It is simply because someone was able to prepare before it could start.” He informed them as she glanced at a suspiciously quiet redhead.
With a frown, Lock huffed in annoyance. “As if that explains anything…” And Beacrox silently agreed with the young wolf.
Well...
"Let us begin"
