Work Text:

A young woman slipped out of The Drunken Sharks walking down the dirt roads clutching a piece of torn up paper in her shaking hand.
“I hope he wasn’t lying to me about where this witch hangs out” she mutters sadly the air fogging up from her hot breath as she walks, clutching her light blue cloak’s hood to keep her dirty silver hair from falling out. Walking down the right side of the cobblestone road lanterns strategically placed so that she would have to walk twenty-five steps before arriving at the next lantern

'Almost as if whoever designed this city wanted people to be on edge’
She sighs now a block away from the tavern as she takes a left walking across the road effectively ending her line of sight from the warm glow of the tavern.

She continued down the road passing less and less drunken folk until the only signs of life were the few homeless out on such a cold night and the contracted police patrols who were little more than thugs.
She stops by an alleyway next to a rundown lodge, looking down at the piece of paper she sees that this was the place, she cautiously walks down the alleyway tucking the paper inside of her light blue cloak.
She jumps, startled as someone coughs, looking around the alleyway, she notices a figure taller than even her 6’2 in a patched dirty gray cloak standing near a fire bin in on the left of the alleyway across from the bin is a door leading into the hotel, she walks closer to the figure stepping in wanted posters that have fallen off of the brick building.

“Are you Calypso?” the young woman asks
“Why yes, I am although I have to ask why …. Miss?” The woman answers
“Yes, my names Lea ma’am and I’m here because I was told that you could help people like me”

“Ahh yes I do help those with your specific needs come closer I want to know what exactly you need.”
The young woman hurriedly walks closer, not so cautious now that she can taste her goal Calypso takes a syringe out and draws some of the young woman's blood putting it inside of a vial.

Calypso takes a tablet out from one of her cloak’s pockets and mixes it into the vial.
“Now we just need to wait a bit, while waiting once you get what you need, you’ll need to put a droplet of gel on each morning or each evening and leave it uncovered after you applied the gel for ten minutes”

“Why do I need to do that?”

“Well, you don’t want the gel to rub off before it soaks in now do you?”
The young woman shakes her head prompting Calypso to smile and pat her cheek saying
“Good… now the vial should be done let’s continue”
The young woman watches as Calypso checks the vial humming and grabs two jars of white gel out from her cloak before giving the jars to the woman.
“Remember Lea one droplet in the morning or the evening”
Calypso says as she pats the girl's cheek once more before disappearing out of the alleyway silent as the night.

The young woman smiles, happiness filling her heart as she finally gets what she’s been wanting since what feels like forever. She puts the jars into a dull pink satchel before she skips out of the alleyway giddy to get home.
When the young woman exits the alleyway, she turns towards her house and starts walking, as she's passing the lodge she bumps into a young gentleman
“Sorry sir” she says smiling
“No need to apologize ma'am err I mean sir, sorry.”

"No need to apologize sir"
